Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortune – Review by Samantha Snow

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1)Climbing The Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Climb The Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortune is the first book in the Hart and Cole Series. It is a contemporary romance book with a twist. I loved it! It is a very intriguing story about the ups and downs of married life. No marriage is perfect nor easy and this story emphasizes that. The story does jump between characters, and i love that too! I like to stories that show both sides of the characters point of view as well. If you like steamy, romance that shows all the real life ups and downs of a marriage I highly recommend. I know I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Third Time’s A Ghost (Haunted Ever After Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Samantha Snow

Third Time's a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After, #3)Third Time’s a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the Haunted Ever After Series. Like with any book in a series, starting with the first book is best. Although this book can be read as a standalone. This is a fun, paranormal, geeky, mystery, thriller, romance story and is written fantastically. I was drawn into yet another amazing story by this author. Erica Miller who happens to be a psychic medium, inherits a haunted community theater from her childhood mentor who has recently passed in a peculiar way. She makes a go at the theater and things keep going wrong. She runs into her childhood best-friend Gage whom she seeks help from to help with the glitching lights at the theater. Gage Dawson is a brilliant IT worker by day and a paranormal investigator by night, whom sucks at the dating. When Erica asks for his help he is joyed to help her. He wants his relationship with Erica to move to the next level. But will the spirits in her newly owned theater interfere? I truly enjoyed this book and am sad that it is the last in the series. But overall loved the whole series and I recommend it!

This is the second book in the Haunted Ever After Series. You will most definitely want to read the first book in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I honestly recommend you read the first book as well. The story came to life on every single page. Loved how well written the story is from page one and on. Loved the characters as well as the plot-line. The author has wowed me and kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. All around an amazing ghostly romance story with a secrets, and second chances. Trent Austin suddenly inherits a mansion from his recently deceased creepy, crazy uncle. He is a successful, big city lawyer and wants to sale the run-down mansion as quickly as possible. Who better to call to help him other than his ex almost girlfriend Tina Sanders. Tina Sanders is a fun going, big time, real estate agent. When she receives a call from Trent whom she dumped months ago, she is very surprised. They quickly learn there is more to the mansion than they may realize. Really enjoyed this book! Love at First Haunt: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After Book 1)Love at First Haunt: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book read by this author, and it will not be my last. Love at First Haunt: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After Book 1) has a cute, simple plot line. This is a fun, paranormal, romance story that is very intriguing to say the least. The story grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Allison Gray is an intelligent, talented, medium, who uses her gifts to help others. Not long after she was hurt by a former boyfriend, a ghost hunt goes wrong. She has sworn off from any more ghost busting jobs with her team. She leads a quiet boring, safe life, working with her gifts, out of an office in an antique shop. Her best friend invites her to tag along to a party hosted by new in town Logan Mitchell. Logan Mitchell is like her in so many ways, one is he is not looking for a relationship. He just wants to live a normal life. He has bought a house that turns out to be haunted. As things progress with this ghost, he decides to call in help to rid his house of this hostile ghost. The team he calls upon, asks Allison for help. Will she be able to help the ghost crossover? Will his life return to normal? This was a very enjoyable start to the series. So eager to read the next book!

Bound by Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops Series Book 2) by Amy McKinley – Review by Samantha Snow

Bound by Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops, #2)Bound by Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bound by Secrets is book two in the Deadly Isles Series. Was excited to read and was not disappointed again. Best read after book one. Prepare to be up all night with this one, I was held from page one. Very well written and is an amazing suspenseful romantic story full of secrets, twists and turns.
Kayla is a free lance writer, who is on the run from an abusive partner. She is desperate for a place to stay and stays with her brother’s best friend. Also, who is an old flame. Jaxon is retired from the Navy and temporarily employed as a police officer, filling in for Kayla’s father. The chemistry between these two characters definitely jumps off the pages and you will be rooting for them. Most certainly will not be the last book I’ve read by this author. Eager to read the next book in this series.

Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops Book 1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Samantha Snow

Twisted SecretsTwisted Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Twisted Secrets is the first book in the Deadly Isles Series. It is written by a new to me author, so will most certainly be reading more of her work. The writing draws you into the story and keeps you very intrigued. This story has it all let me tell you! Crime, danger, suspense, drama, attraction and love. There is betrayal, deception, and of course murder. My favorite thing was the absolute instant attraction between the main characters. The story does take place in Hawaii. Riley is a college student who works at a coffee shop. Xander is an injured soldier on military leave. You are kept guessing until the very end. Definitely a plot twist. Was very surprised on the end for sure. I loved every minute of reading this story and was not disappointed at all. It is a great read!! Can not wait to read book 2 in the series.

Stone of Destiny is the first book in the Juniper Samoni Trilogy. This book is very original and is very well written. It is a wonderful start in a series. Most certainly an action packed paranormal novel with loads of adventure. You get pulled in the beginning and can’t read it fast enough to find out what happens next. Juniper Simons is a brave witch warrior who is tasked with a dangerous mission that leads to a new found love and unfortunate loss. The characters are wonderful and very engaging. Definitely an edge of seat type book. So, excited to read the next book in the series.
