This was a great second story in the world of WaterFyre Rising! I loved being back with other characters from the first book and learning more about how interconnected their stories are. This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the first story in the series!
This book was the perfect fake-dating trope, but also focused on destiny and fate. It made me constantly say, “Where is my billionaire hero to kill all the monsters in my closet??” but I loved it! There was so much passion and romance in this book, and I read it all in one sitting! I am excited to see if the story continues — which I hope it does! Nadia’s writing is so addictive, and I highly recommend the WaterFyre Rising series.

I had been left with such a desire to keep the story going with the amazing characters from the first book, and this did not disappoint! While this was a very intense (and long) book, I devoured all of it! I am a huge fan of thriller and dystopian books, so this was right up my alley. Great second story! If you haven’t read the first, please go do so in order to enjoy both of these books.

Short and sweet… but also a little deadly! I loved this short story. It definitely made me think about what dating during a zombie apocalypse would be like… while also making me realize the dating world right now isn’t much better!
I loved how descriptive the writing was, and the unique storyline left me thinking about it long after I was finished reading. The ending left me with some hope for humanity… while also leaving any number of outcomes as a possibility.

Wow! I adored this series. I breezed through all three books and highly enjoyed them. I felt myself getting sucked into the story more and more as I went on. While Book 2 was definitely my favorite, I couldn’t help but fall in love with all of the characters and the setting.
This series made me want to throw on a bathing suit and learn to surf. It also made me crave living in Hawaii and getting to experience the beautiful ocean there everyday. Within this retro romance, there was all sorts of love, lust, tragedy, drama, and happy endings.
