Mafia Elite Series Box Set: Volume Two by Amy McKinley

This isn’t the first box set I’ve read by the author. The author knows how to keep readers entertained and keep coming back. Every book in this box set is amazing and I can’t wait for you to enjoy them.

Savage Secrets: An Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #4)

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. It’s also not the first book in the series that I’ve read. Each Mafia Elite book gets better and better. Max and Lil, Enzo and Sofia, Stephano and Em, and now Marco and Elena.

Marco is the Mafia boss for his family. He’s also the one who is sent to get Elena. He wants her to be his, but she doesn’t know of his feelings for her. Things happen that bring them closer together. The quote I chose for Marco is: “Going somewhere? Chloe James? Don’t think for one second I don’t know you’re Elena. I’d recognize you anywhere, in any disguise. This freckle, the shape of your eyes, the pout of your lips, even the smell of your skin. You can’t hide from me. It doesn’t matter what alias you use. I’ll always find you.”

Elena has been dead for the last four years in order to protect everyone she cares about. So when Marco shows up she runs because she doesn’t know if he wants her dead as well. He takes her back home and she finds that she’s getting married. The quote I chose for Elena is: “I’m not thrilled about it. Who would be? I found out I’m half Russian and related to a Bratva boss. Not exactly my dream evening.”

Ruthless Heir: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #5)

This is not the first read by the author. This is number five in the Mafia Elite Series. Each gets better and better. You never know what you’re going to get or what to expect.

Summer comes home from work to find her roommate and best friend dead. She knows what she has to do and she runs. She knows her friend’s ex is after her. The quote I chose for Summer is: “Stop bringing that up. It was a mistake and the first time I’d ever been to that bar. I wish I’d never gone.”

Luc is about to get the shock of his life. He’s got a half sister that he doesn’t know about. Will he be able to do what they want him to do? The quote I chose for Luc is: “Get John on the phone and make sure the interior designer starts updating this floor first. I want those cubicles gone. And find out more about the executive assistant I have. I discovered early this morning that they didn’t disclose Edward’s assistant was on maternity leave and a temp has been working here for three weeks.”

Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #6)

Another fantastic read by the author. Collateral Damage is the sixth book in the Mafia Elite Series. This time it’s Trey’s turn. Only this time she might not die.

Trey might just be getting his second chance at love. Hailey has done nothing wrong and she tugs at his heart. Will Trey be able to save her in time? The quote I chose for Trey is: “Be careful how you talk to me, Allen. You won’t like the repercussions. Make it happen with the board, and I’ll see what I can do about your daughter.”

Hailey goes to meet her dad, only she doesn’t call Allen her dad. She falls for Trey but can’t let it be known as she doesn’t want to get her heart broken. The quote I chose for Hayley is: “So you took on his crisis rather than tell him to shove it? He could have gone to the cops. I don’t understand why you got involved. It seems like this is more of a headache for you.”

Rivals: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #7)

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. So far every single book is amazing in its own way. This book tops them all though. This is the seventh book in the Mafia Elite Series. I really can’t choose my favorite book.

Mia comes from a different side of the mafia. She isn’t sure where to fit in only to find her love in the La Rosa family. She finds that her father isn’t really her father. The quote I chose for Mia is: “I’ve only been here, Chicago, and Grand Cayman. I’m not sure where I would want to go. Maybe Italy? It’s hard to believe I’ve never been there, being Mafia and all.”

Nico was engaged and then stuff happened. Now he’s trying to figure out where to go from here. He meets Mia and knows that he’s got to have her. Then stuff went down and now they’re putting their lives on hold. The quote I chose for Nico is: “My sister urged me to purchase property here even if I wasn’t ready to build. That’s ours. We can build a house whenever you want.”

Highly recommended for Mafia Romance lovers.

Mafia Elite Box Set: Volume Two

Mafia Elite Box Set: Volume Two by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars

Mafia Elite Box Set Volume Two contains Books 4 – 7 in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. This rounds out the series, so if you have yet to read the first three books, or Volume One Box Set, then I highly recommend that you do before starting this, Volume two. Yes, the books could be read as standalones, but together they provide a richer reading experience, as well as painting a larger picture, one you won’t want to miss.
This is such a stellar series- which just gets better and better with each new instalment, and I really am hard-pressed to choose a favourite from amongst them all because they are all so brilliant!
The series, and this box set, brings fantastic mafia romance- romantic suspense at its best, with plenty of action, danger, drama, intrigue, mafia politics, chemistry, passion, steam, tension, emotion, hidden agendas, dramatic developments, and so, so much more.
What are you waiting for? Grab yourself a copy and dive in…. you won’t be disappointed!

The Box Set contains:

Savage Secrets (Book #4):
Marco had thought his love died years ago. But he is about to discover that isn’t the case when he’s approached with an arranged marriage deal. Danger is circling and she needs his help if she is to cheat death for real. GAH!!!! Love Marco and Elena. Love this series so hard. One of my favourites. Each book just gets better and better! Highly recommended.

Ruthless Heir (Book 5):
Here we get his is Luc and Summer’s story- and WOW, Ms. McKinley certainly didn’t hold back with this story, keeping me on edge and completely invested in the characters and the story, right from the very beginning. I didn’t come up for air until I had devoured every word. I loved all the interconnected details, secrets, tension, danger, and intriguing threads that Ms. McKinley is weaving through her stories, and series. It makes for riveting reading. I am completely addicted, and I can’t wait for my next fix!!!

Collateral Damage (Book #6):
I was so excited that we finally get Trey’s story. And what a story it is… WOW! Another fantastic addition to the series, and it’s getting harder and harder for me to choose a favourite because they are all sooooo good. We have met Trey previously through the series, as he is Sofia (Book #2) and Marco’s (Book #4) brother. His family is ‘the mafia’. But Trey isn’t really involved in the family business on a day-to-day level as he is a doctor working in a local hospital. But that’s not to say he doesn’t ‘contribute’ when needed. Trey is called on to help out on a kidnapping – and becomes more tangled in the situation than he desired. Especially since he and the kidnapping victim have some pre-existing chemistry. Queue the sparks and sizzle. But danger lurks and things are not quite what they may seem. What happens makes for an exciting read.

Rivals (Book #7):
This is Mia and Nico’s story- and wow, you’d better buckle yourself in for this one. When Mia needs help, she turns to Nico for help… Nico is intrigued as she’s the ‘enemy’. There’s far more than their hearts at stake, and you know what they say about ‘no good deed goes unpunished’- so what happens here makes for quite a riveting read. You won’t want to miss this exciting story… but be prepared to develop a taste for Ms. McKinley’s stories. One book won’t be enough.

Seriously, if you love mafia romance, and/or romantic suspense, then you definitely won’t want to miss this exciting story/series!!!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Amy McKinley!

Oh my goodness, these covers and the men just keep getting better ❣️🔥

Please read the previous books so you can get the best experience out of this series ❣️📕

This one gets right from the start though and I’m not sure if it’s because it’s just so good or if it’s because I was so ready to devour it ❣️📕😂

So Marco thought his Elena had died 4 years ago so imagine his shock when he sees her again …

Elena just wants a normal life so she goes into hiding after giving up her position in mafia family but someone is out to get her and it’s not the enemy she should’ve feared but the one that claimed her heart so many years ago …..

This one was a real rollercoaster ride 😱❣️

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The 4th book in Amy McKinley’s Mafia Elite series brings us into Marco La Rosa and Elena Caruso’s story. This story had me on the edge of my seat throughout. The author brought in a whole new experience because of the Bratva connection. The amount of secrets, the amount of suspense, the amount of action took this series to a new level. I love that each story is it’s own, but very much connected. I’ll admit this one had me dreaming about it three nights in a row which is how I knew it was a good book. Elena has been on the run for so long, she has no idea what to do. When she is suddenly confronted by her past and a man she once had feelings for you can’t help but wonder where it will all lead. Making this story even more are the secrets surrounding Katya, Nicole, and Yuri. If you love a good romantic suspense story you will love this series. I highly suggest starting with book 1 so you can get the most enjoyment from what this author has to offer.

This is the fourth book in the Mafia Elite series, it can be read as a standalone, but I personally would recommend reading these in order.
In this book we meet Chicago mafia boss Marco La Rosa, he thought he lost his one true love years ago, but learns from his brother Elena Caruso is still alive and in danger.
This was another fantastic character-driven story from this author. This book was full of forbidden romance, action and passion – highly recommended.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely love Elena and Marco! From Frenemies to Lovers! Even though you can read this book as a standalone, I recommend reading the other books in order before this one. There is vital information about Elena’s starting predicament that may be confusing if you do not know the background information from the other 3 books. After finding that Elena is alive, Marco will not stop until she is his and in his arms. As teenagers, Marco and Elena were always back and forth teasing and punishing for no reason. They both had crushes on each other but kept it a secret, as Elena was promised to marry Enzo. In this book, it tied up several of the sub-plots that go on throughout each book. Marco is the sexy tattooed badass, while Elena has become an independent badass of her own. Her being away from everyone and in hiding for the past 4 years causes several issues with the two main characters, trust being the main problem. As Elena, is not sure who to trust, and Marco is pissed that she left without asking for help. The main Mafia situation in Savage Secrets is focused on the Russians, the Boss Yuri in particular. Very action packed but with lots of romance and love. Definitely cannot wait to read the 5th book in the series.

I am excited to continue on to book 5. These books are must reads!!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Shea Gilkerson

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elena grew up as a princess to the Chicago Mafia, a member of the Five Families. She was adopted by Nicole Caruso, wife of the head of the Caruso family after her mother was murdered by the Bratva, and another attempt was made as she grew, leading to the death of another one of the Five Families kids. As an adopted kid, she always felt a little…less than the rest of them, despite her strong relationship with her mama and friendships with the other daughters. As the families grew older, she was promised to marry Enzo. After another attempt on her life Elena decided to run and remove the target from her family and friends, leaving behind everything she knew. In an effort to keep them protected, she didn’t even search for information about them online, changed her name, continued to change her appearance and keep her skills sharp.

After she was located by the Bratva, Elena was lucky enough to get a warning and grabbed her go bag to run – just to find her childhood crush, Marco La Rosa at her door. Elena and Marco grew up together, but as they got older he began to distance himself from her and then thought she was dead when she disappeared and covered her tracks. He received word she was alive and came to bring her home himself, and was in time to save her life.

On the way back to Chicago, Elena learned she had a new brother running the family, some of the members of the families had been murdered, and that her new brother Max Caruso is the new head of the family and arranged a marriage for her to Marco. While she spent much of her life with feelings for Marco, she has no clue of his feelings for her or that this is anything other than a marriage of covenience. What she finds out is that he has loved her for a long time, drew away due to her arranged marriage to another of the families, and thought he had lost her once. Marco refuses to let her out of his sight or into danger again without him by her side.

This book has lots of action, and I love how much the women are included in decisions and how tough and capable they are! Elena thought she not only didn’t fit in exactly, but that everyone would hate her for lying to them and running away, but after 5 years away she has found how much she missed everyone and how much they’ve missed her. Being back in Chicago, she is able to spend time with Nicole again, learn about why the Bratva is so determined to find her, learn about the relationships amongst the new heads of the families and find her relationship with Marco. Neither wants a marriage with no love involved and make an effort to be open and honest with one another. After so much time lost, Marco and Elena are a real force to be reckoned with and have lost time to make up for.

As with the rest of the Mafia Elite series, I love the relationship and world building in this book. The passion is obvious, the action is exciting, the mystery is intriguing, there is lots of twists and turns. While these books are all great standalone stories, they’re even better when you read them all.

McKinley doesn’t disappoint with the fourth installment of this Mafia series. I got to find out about new characters Elena and Marco. This book has a lot of twists in it, and I was unable to put it down. I was glad to see answers from previous books, all while leaving it open to keep the story going. I am really loving this series. It is interesting how each of these characters find true love. These men love these women and will lay their lives on keeping the save and that includes Elena and Marco. This book can stand alone but I would recommend reading the previous books to better understand the other characters. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Wendy Wary

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elena, with the help of some friends, faked her death to escape a psychopath in the Russian Mafia who was hellbent on ending her life. Having found some peace and a mostly humdrum existence in New Jersey for the past several years, her instincts kick in when Marco, her longtime crush turned somewhat enemy, shows up to take her back to Chicago. She’s not sure if she can trust him, but with the Russians on to her whereabouts, she doesn’t have much of a choice.

Marco, despite his own longtime crush on Elena, acted out against her during their teen years because she was already promised to another through an arranged marriage. With that contract null and void, and years having passed since she disappeared from his life, he’s more than willing to take on her safety as his own personal responsibility. The trouble will be convincing her that she can actually trust him and trying to win her over to make up for the attitude he gave her during their youth. In the meantime, Elena struggles to leave behind her fight or flight instincts and fall into the trust of her adopted mafia family to accept that she has just as much a right to be there as anyone else in the family.

If you’ve read previous books in the series, this book fills in more details about the story behind Elena’s disappearance, secrets from her past, her place in the Five Families, and her future. Don’t worry, though, if you haven’t previously read any of the other books in the series; you can literally start with any one of them and enjoy it as a standalone. But, be prepared to be sucked into the mafia world and wrapped up in the many characters that make up the series. One thing I love about the series is how you get introduced to most of the characters from the beginning, but then get to watch different stories from each of their lives unfold as you get further into the series. I’m totally hooked, and this addition is no exception.

Even though Elana has been in hiding for years her cover has been blown. Where can she go and who can she turn to for help? Marco has been nursing a broken heart since he thought Elana had died. Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elena Caruso has been hiding from everyone for four years. When she was on her daily run, she received a message from the Russian assassin Katya. Just as Elena is about to leave her apartment, she runs straight into Marco La Rosa, an Italian Mafia boss. She manages to get past him only to run into a Russian hitman who shoots her in the leg. Marco kills him and takes Elena to safety. Elena didn’t know what Marco, whom she had a childhood feud with, had planned for her. She quickly learns that the Italian Mafia had changed while she was gone. Now, as she is walking down an aisle for her wedding, she realizes she didn’t want a marriage of convenience. She wanted everything.

I have been reading this series from its very beginning and I have become hopelessly hooked by the vivid imagery. The characters are realistic, and their motivations are understandable. Looking for intelligent, resourceful women? Check! Looking for strong yet passionate men? Check! This is a 5-star book and I highly recommend the entire series.

This is the fourth book in the series. It could be read as a standalone, but I feel like I would have connected better to the characters if I’d read the previous books. That being said, you won’t be lost if you pick this up out of order like I did. There’s enough backstory to get you caught up.
The story starts out with action and just keeps going. Since the two main characters are previously acquainted, there’s already an attraction right at the start due to that history so it has an insta-love feel. If you like mafia romances, this one is pretty on par with the genre.

Warning there are triggers…

This is the fourth book in the Mafia Elite and they just get better and better. I would recommend you read the other books in the series so you can follow the characters and plots that will lead to one. The characters are amazing I loved their little quirks. The plot and description was amazing.
Mafia princess Elena Caruso has been on the run for years she had to cut all family ties to survive. She has trained for years so when she gets word that her cover has been blown, she attempts to leave but she ends up in the love of her life who in all purposes is now dangerous but she is running from him too.
For years Chicago Mob boss Marco La Rosa thought the only woman he’d ever loved had died years ago. So, when her brother offers him an arranged marriage, he soon finds out she is alive and in danger.
Can Marco get to Elena before her enemies? Will her be able to protect her? Will Elena let Marco help her or will she run from him again? Will Elena go back to the family and will the family welcome her back with open arms?

You will need to read this book to find out the answers to my questions…

Spice, Sex and Secrets. This series has them all!!! The characters are well developed and become your “book friends”. I have so far thoroughly enjoyed this series. The author really takes the time to add in all those little details that make a story a page turner.
Elena has been in hiding, but when her cover is blown she needs the help of her sort of enemy, Marco. Of course they fall in love but it’s the hows and whys of it that matter most. All the mystery and suspense is still there and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

What did I think? This was a steaamyyy savage love affair!

Firstly the glossary of who’s who on the first page… chefs kisses! I have not read any of the previous books and was worried I would be lost but luckily wasn’t! I loved that you get both perspectives of the main characters POV. This made it easy to follow, and loved to see how they both were truly feeling. I like that we got to be in both of their heads! This book was filled with hellaaa spicy moments, lotsss and lotsss of plot twists, and roller coaster moments. It had me on the edge of my seat and with the popcorn ready! I could not put this book down to save my life!

Overall a really great read, and I can’t wait to read more in this series!!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once again, I just love this series! Book four in the series is about Elena, a Mafia princess who has been in hiding from the Russians, and Marco, one of the Mafia bosses. Elena has been hiding from the Russians for about 4 years when her life becomes compromised, once again. The person who comes to “rescue” her is Marco. Marco and her have been “enemies” since a young age but secretly crushed on each other. Elena, however, eventually learns to trust him and to save her life must marry. However, this marriage allows them to enjoy the feelings that have been bottled up for so long. The question is, can they unite and trust each other enough to survive a Mafia war against Russia? Also, lifelong secrets start to surface, will this put more of a price on Elena’s head and how will their new marriage make it through?

What I love most about these books is the no bullshit writing! The author starts the book hot and keeps it going to make it a fast, entertaining, and enjoyable read. I also always fall in love with the characters. Each one of the women are romantics, but badass independent warriors! The men are obviously badass, but the way the author writes you can feel how deeply and desperately they love their wives. She writes the men’s personality as I wish all men would behave where their women are concerned: love them, worship them, protect them, but also let them be intelligent, decisive, strong, independent women – happy compromise to an amazingly happy life!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Francis O’Sullivan

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Savage Secrets is the fourth book in the Mafia Elite series. I have found myself really engrossed in this series, and have enjoyed other books by the same author including the Gray Ghost series, so I was excited to read this!
In Savage Secrets, we finally get to catch up with Elena. She’s been on the run, presumed dead by pretty much everyone. But when her new identity is compromised, it’s a race between the Italian and Russian mafias to get to her, and she doesn’t know who she can trust.
This is a fast-paced, exciting story. As Marco fights to protect Elena, his sister Sofia, and the rest of his family, he can forget that they have plenty of fight in them themselves. And there’s plenty of secrets, with Elena’s adoptive mother, Nicole, helping her uncover the truth about her birth mother, aided by coded messages hidden in the library.
There are unexpected twists and turns, and moments where you’re lulled into a false sense of security (but also moments where everyone’s actually safe and can enjoy a few drinks, some conversation, remember they’re in a romance novel…).
This book gets five stars from me, and I can’t wait to read Ruthless Heir when it comes out! I would definitely recommend starting at the first book in the series, No Way Out, so you can get to know the characters and watch them grow through the series.

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, book 4) by Amy McKinley – Review by Katie Kearney

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I swear this author just gets better and better. I do recommend reading these in order to enhance the overall experience of this world. Now saying that I think I can say Elena and Marco may be my favorite but hey don’t tell the others ok! These two just had something that called to me. Elena is so strong and Marco is so protective each one brings this story to life. There plenty of swoon worthy romance, drama and action to keep you on your toes. It’s well written and has characters you just can’t help but love. Five huge stars and highly recommended! I’m anxiously waiting for more.

This is an action-packed page-turner, Elena is on the run, running from a life she wishes to not live. But we all know how life has a role for us. Marco wants nothing but to keep “little thief” safe but will Elena allow him to do that. Genealogy is a dangerous game but is the Italians and the Russians ready to play?

Road Rage (Outlaw Series Book 4) by Katrina Kantas – Review by Candida Hopper

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite, #4)Savage Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had me from the start. Elena had to leave everyone behind and start fresh with a new identity. Marco is head of one of the five families and he had thought that Elena was dead until he was approached by her brother about an arranged marriage to protect her. The bratva is closing in on Elena and Marco needs to get to her first. Elena is a very strong independent woman and can kick some but herself but that doesnt mean she doesn’t need some help. Marco and Elena were always at each other’s throats when they were growing up but secretly had a crush on each other. Will they reveal their true feelings to each other? Will Elena remain safe? This is a must read if you want the answers to these questions. I absolutely loved this book with its romance, action, family, and secrets revealed. This entire series has been awesome. I highly recommend this book and series.
