I picked this up on a whim even though I was kind of on the fence about it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not based on the cover and short synopsis. Once I decided to dive in, there was no going back. The author gripped my attention in the first few pages, and I couldn’t put it down! This was my first book by this author as well as the first book in the Planet Amazon series. I really loved this refreshing look on the world of Atlantis. This was a brilliantly written Sci-Fi Romance! Even if you think this book might not be for you, I highly recommend giving it a chance. It will probably surprise you and you’ll find yourself with your nose pressed to the pages just like I was. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series because I am addicted!

This book draws you in from the first sentence. Join Andrea as she finally makes it to a place she has spent her whole life looking for. She is immediately thrown into their warrior mentality and starts to learn their way of living. This brings in mystery, action, and maybe even a little romance. You won’t be able to put it down until the end.

Andrea is a scientist who searches for Amazon and when further discovery is made in Atlantis, she ends up being transported to Amazon. She learns to be part of the Amazon world as they are in the midst of war and everyone has contributory efforts towards society. Also learning of the customs comes as quite of a surprise to her and finds herself very attracted to some of the Queen’s male slaves. All these new traditions and customs are making Andrea question the life she left behind on Earth of not having attachments and distancing from family. A new start could be a possibility at Amazon. I was hooked reading this book from the first chapter and look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Andrea is a researcher from Earth that has been searching her whole life for the city of Atlantis. Upon going thru the doorway she discovers a completely different world: Planet Amazon. With no way to go back home she makes this world her into her life changing adventure. I liked how strong Andrea is and all the other Amazon women. The training and fighting that she endures is engaging. The writing was good and descriptive but sometimes I wanted more details. I also disliked how everything is very easy for Andrea living her new life even the challenges she faces all felt like fluff. It was a struggle to finish the book about halfway thru and the chapters are all really long. If your into romantasy with fighting, politics, hot guys, and favorable outcomes look no further!

An enjoyable and entertaining sci-fi romance which kept me hooked from start to finish. Army Colonel Andrea dedicated her life and career to finding a hidden doorway from Earth to the planet Amazon. But instead of the advanced society she expected she finds a primitive world. This medieval society was at war with the closest planet to them, Gallegos and they fought with sword and staff. Andrea discovers that she may be stuck on Amazon with no way home. When she meets two handsome men Jonne and Marcus she feels a chemistry with them both and learns they are her soulmates. The descriptive narrative brought the planet of Amazon vividly to life along with the characters and other planets. I found Andrea to be a likeable and relatable character, and the chemistry between her and her soulmates came across in the narrative. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is a book by an author I haven’t read before. It’s a great book based on the lost city of Atlantis and a portal that brings Andrea, to another civilization. Andrea has been planning on opening the portal since she was a child and found an ancient book that explains how the portal works. Although Andrea isn’t sure how she may get back to Earth, she is excited to have made it through the portal. This sci-fi story has danger, romance, and uncertainty. The characters are easy to connect to and world created by the author is amazing.

The Rebirth Part One: Aliens and Royalty is the first part of the Planet Amazon series, written by Crystal Dawn. This was such an interesting and intriguing sci-fi romance with tons of adventure and so much more. A wonderful and original spin on both the Atlantis and the Amazonian Mythologies. I breezed through this book, reading any chance I got because I just had to know how it progressed. Crystal is a new author to me, but one I will be looking out for from now on!

The Rebirth Part 1 is the first book in the Planet Amazon Series. The story follows Andrea Stanton, an Army Colonel from planet Earth. Andrea wakes up on Planet Amazon after going through a doorway from Earth. She is immediately pulled into this new world she has worked hard to find. Andrea soon discovers that life on this planet is much different than life on Earth. She is immediately thrust into a new life as she finds herself drawn to two slaves. Andrea wants to do whatever she can to give these people a better life. This story has a very interesting premise. The world-building is good. There are a lot of action sequences and you get to see the author’s original spin on this world. While the characters seemed likable enough it was difficult to connect to them. I also felt that the story would have benefited from more detail and more show than tell. All and this was a good read. If the Sci-Fi/Romance genre is one you like, then you will enjoy this story.

The Rebirth Part 1 (Planet Amazon Series) by Crystal Dawn. This was a good sci-fi with danger, romance and mysteries. Its the story of Andrea who is a researcher from Earth and when she finds a door to another portal she enters and realizes she may be stuck here forever. Trying to navigate her way in this new world she is not sure she made the right decision but nothing she can do about it now. While she is still getting her footing she meets to hunky men and she feels a instant attraction kinda like fated mates. She uses her training to fight for this new world she is in and she gives it all she has but will it be enough. There is a Medieval Society that are fighting wars that seem to never end. While she was in her previous world she was around 40 years old and in this new world she seems to age in reverse. Will she be able to learn to live, fight and love in this new world that she has found herself in. Read this fast paced fantasy, sci-fi to find out!

This was an interesting read. I was not sure what to expect at first, but once I started turning the pages, I found myself immersed in a good storyline. This sci-fi romance is filled with strong women, which I love, action, danger and drama. Fate has drawn Andrea to a door, that leads her to a place that she never expect. As you turn the pages, the journey of Andrea draws you in and you want to find out what could happen next.

I am intrigued to see what happens in the next book in the series.

Andrea- Loved the idea of going to the planet Amazon where she dedicated her life to finding the door and going through. Once there she meets two men who she has an instant attraction with. Between her training with Marcus and her military training, she fights for the people to help them against Planet Kings, and also in the tournament they have to win Queen slaves.

While this is a quick read, I will not be continuing this series. I love fantasy books, especially romantasy, and while this is a fantasy with lots of fighting (which I love) this book was just not my cup of tea.

The Rebirth Part 1 is the first book in the Planet Amazon Series and is a Sci-Fi Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. This is a new author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. The characters are developed and creative and made the story come to life. The storyline flowed so well that I couldn’t put it down. This a fast paced story about what happens on the other side of the door might not be what it seems. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the start by the characters. This is a science fiction romance story that has characters that are hot and steamy. They are connectable characters that make this story easy to read and entertaining as well. This is a well written story about what happens when the other side of the door is not what you expected when you walk through it. The medieval society has a fantasy aspect to it as well. Will this character find themselves along this journey? This is a fast paced, hard to put down story that is engaging and one that you don’t want to miss. There is great growth and the characters had me wanting to know what would happen next. This is a story that I really enjoyed reading and I look forward to seeing the next book as well. I highly recommend this book.

This is the Part One of the Planet Amazon series. This was an enjoyable sci-fi adventure with danger, action, secrets, mysteries and romance. The romance element feels a little like fated mates which made it unique in this type of story. The authors world building was great and I really felt I was seeing the actual places that were being described to me.
I will admit that I did find it a little hard to get into the story at first however I’m glad I didn’t give up.
This is a story about a researcher from Earth called Andrea. When she finds a door that takes her to another plant she realises that she may never been able to return to Earth. As she learns the ways of her new live she finds her mates and finally feels she belongs.
This is a story that was interesting and with the war between the planets there was always danger. Andrea trains to become a great warrior like the Amazon’s in the myths which makes it feel even more like fate that she arrives there.
This is a interesting start to the series and I look forward to reading more.

What a fantastic read this story was. It captivated me immediately and had to know more. The book followed a well written time line that made sense and the relationships were also done quite well.
Andrea worked her entire life to find the lost city of Atlantis. Her interest came from a book she found in the library. She works hard, goes to school and ends up being indispensable.
Atlantis was finally found and they did find what they were looking for. Who was going to go through this door unknowing who or what might be on the other side. The government crew she’s with has no idea if anyone would survive going through but Andrea volunteers.

She reaches Atlantis only to find she might be a 40 year old woman on earth but here she’s seems to age in reverse. She finds that this society is ravaged after brutal wars and biological weapons which has taken them back to simpler times. Andrea put her heart into being here and she trained and won the hearts as many as her skills were impeccable.
She meets Marcus (who is Lydia’s (the queens) slave but she never keeps one more than 3 months, Andrea feels a spark like nothing she can understand, they become closer with tryst in the woods. However since hes the prize for the upcoming fights, she knows she was to win
In the midst of this is Jonne who’s a uncooperative slave. Andrea manages to pull personality from him and find him intelligent and sexy in a way that is opposite to Marcus and Andrea feels she needs both of them to make her whole.
Lots of drama, steamy(but not overly done) and a great touch on the lost city of atlantis

The Rebirth Part 1 (Planet Amazon Series) by Crystal Dawn is a great sci-fi romance series

It resembled going into the rabbit hole. There was nothing on the other side of the entryway that was what she had anticipated. Instead of the modern society she had dreamed for, there was a medieval society where people fought with swords and staffs. She had no route home and was stuck here, which made things worse.

Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. The story really brings us into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.

I must be honest when I first started to read this book, I did not think it was going to be for me. By the end of the first chapter the storyline had me wanting to know what was next. I like how all the main characters in the book had their own strengths with the females of Amazon being slightly stronger than the men. She is Andrea Stanton, and she has found the doorway to Amazon and has gone through it. On getting through the door Andrea wakes up feeling so dizzy she did not want to open her eyes. Queen Lydia had hit her on the back of her head with a staff. It did not take long for Lydia and Andrea to become close friends in fact over time Andrea became Lydia’s second in command. Andrea noticed Marcus as Lydia was showing her around and was told she could not have him just yet, Andrea has also noticed Jonne, she found herself attracted to both of them on sight. I love how the storylines of the two men that become part of Andreas life are so different, yet they both are a perfect match for her. The storyline continues to build throughout the book and at no time does not hold your attention. What we have in this book is romance, lust, action, and a war between two worlds. I can honestly recommend that this book be read.

The Rebirth: Part One is Book #1 in the Planet Amazon series by Crystal Dawn. It is a sci-fi romance with plenty of action, adventure, danger, agendas, high stakes, intrigue, mystery, and more. While also being a bit of a journey of discovery/self-discovery.
There is a fate, predestined feel to the adventure/romance- soul mates finally finding each other. The story has a bit of a Stargate Atlantis x Zena Warrior Princess vibe. The author has given her own spin on the whole Atlantis and Amazonian mythology.
The world-building was intriguing, and this story should have ticked all the boxes for me as it is a genre I normally love. But unfortunately, I just couldn’t connect with the story or the characters, and therefore I was unable to fully invest in the characters or the outcome of the story.
I will put this aside to read again before continuing on with the series- as maybe I was just having an ‘off ‘reading day with this book. So, stay tuned…

What a great story by an author that’s new to me. The beginning started in an interesting way as Claire is traveling to visit her twin sister. Claire ends up in the outskirts of Alienville where she goes missing. When Claire doesn’t show up when expected, her twin Moira travels to Alienville to find her. What Moira doesn’t know is that her showing up is the start of something unexpected! The author did an excellent job of writing a story that kept my attention and made me want to keep reading more. The characters and world building made the story that much more exciting. I’m looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I hadn’t read any books by this author before, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. I took a chance with this one and couldn’t be happier that I did! This is the first book in the Alienville series and what an incredible start it is. Within the very first chapter, this story gripped my attention and never let go. I couldn’t put it down for a moment which means I ignored quite a few chores and errands that day. I regret nothing! Moira and Claire are twins but couldn’t be more opposite. Claire is the whimsy, free-spirited sister while Moira is responsible and structured. Claire doesn’t respond to her sister so Moira goes to look for her, but nothing is as it seems. Once the Police Chief, Seth, meets Moira, he finds himself stuck between the truth and his feelings. I refuse to give anything away because this story surprised me at each and every turn! The flow and pace of this story is quite fast but somehow still feels natural. The characters are incredibly well-developed, and I loved the chemistry between Moira and Seth. If you enjoy an intriguing, suspenseful sci-fi romance, please pick this up because you won’t regret it. I cannot wait for the second book in this series!

The town is actually Allentown in North Carolina, but someone shot the sign making the second ‘L’ look like an ‘i’. This little town has secrets that it doesn’t want to get out. When Moira’s sister Claire doesn’t show up for their scheduled visit she starts to get worried. Sure Claire is scatter brained but she would at least find a way to get in touch right? Moira is on a mission to find her missing sister and she starts in the last place that she was known to be. Moira tries to get help from the Chief of Police in Allentown, Seth Call, but the last thing he wants is for the big secret to get out. After all, whatever or whoever took Claire is not going to give her back. This was the first book I have read by this author and it was a page turner. A long time ago I tried a Sci-fi book and knew it was something I most likely wouldn’t pick up again. I’m glad I took the chance on this one and I hope to read more from this author in the near future.

Hit the small town feels on the nose. This is the first book I have read by the talented Donna S. Frelick and being from a small town in the mountains of North Carolina this story truly came to life. With multiple perspectives the author takes us on an adventure into the truly unknown.
Moira and her twin sister Claire are both very different but all it takes in one missed meet up and Moira goes on the hunt. Starting where she last heard from her sister, Moira heads to the town of Allenville. All she wants to do is find her sister and when told to talk to the local police chief things shift. Seth is conflicted. He wants to help Moira find her sister but must protect his town. Adding to the growing tension and suspense, beasts, mutilated bodies, secrets being revealed and more, Moira and Seth also must deal with their growing feelings for each other. Claire only stopped for the night to rest while traveling to visit her sister and everything changed.
Will Moira find Claire? What happened to Claire? The world building was amazing. I honestly could picture the town and its people in my head. Not only from memory but from experience living in a small mountain town, everyone has their secrets and some of them are way more than you ever expected. The characters give a wide range of perspectives from being an outsider searching for her sister, to an out-of-this-world outsider and even a passerby that got mixed up in the secrets of the town. This was an amazing start to a new series, and I can’t wait to see what will happen next in Alienville.

I enjoyed this novel. It was a bit different than what I normally read but it was really interesting. I loved the building of this story and how we were slowly introduced to the world created by this author. The story kept my interest from the beginning to the end and I really enjoyed all the twists and turns in the story. I recommend this story for anyone who enjoys reading science fiction stories.

When Moira goes searching for her ditzy sister Claire, who has vanished near the small mountain town of Allenville, North Carolina, she uncovers more than she ever expected.
Two rival groups with an uneasy truce are disrupted when a member of the secluded mountain group kidnaps Claire for their own nefarious purposes. Can the leaders of the two groups collaborate to rescue Claire before it’s too late, while also safeguarding the town’s secret from Moira?
Moira finds herself attracted to the appealing police chief Seth Call. Still, she realizes that he’s concealing secrets, including his feelings for her, to protect himself, the town, and its history from an Outsider.
It took a few chapters to get into this book as I wasn’t sure what was happening, but then it turned into an exhilarating journey to the end!

This book is a really interesting start to a new series. The main character is on the search of Atlantis and the search leads her to the discovery of a door, and a whole adventure she wasn’t expecting. My favourite part of the book is the characters. Each of them added something different to the story but the overall dynamic between them is what, for me, carried the story. I loved watching them develop as it progressed.
Crystal Dawn is a new author to me and I feel like this book was a great way to show off her talents. It was exciting to read and I loved the world building she brought to it. I was excited to get to know the characters and to see what the adventure had in store for them. I am very much looking forward to the next book.

This is the first book in the Alienville series. This is a great sci-fi romance, suspense read. I am not normally a fan of sci-fi however this has so many elements to it that I couldn’t helped but be gripped.
In this story you will find danger, violence, conspiracies, creatures from other worlds, as well as intrigue and romance. There is literally something for everyone.
The authors creative mind has really created a story that has so many characters and so many layers that I found myself lost in the story.
When Moira’s sister Claire goes missing, Moira decides to go to the last place she was supposed to be which was Allenville. When Claire arrives she gets a strange feeling that something bad has happened to her sister and turns to Police Chief Seth Call for assistance.

Seth knows or at least suspects what has happened to Moira’s sister. Their are strange and violent creatures that also love in Allenville. If his suspicions are correct the Claire has fallen pret to these creatures. The problem becomes is she alive or was she murdered? And if she is alive has she been transformed into one of these creature?
And the biggest question of all, how is he going to explain to an outsider like Moira what is actually going on and the dangers that lurk in this small town?
Can he keep the towns secrets and protect Moria at the same time? Will Moria’s determination to get to the truth or what happened to her sister also put her in harms way?

This story has so many twists and turns that I couldn’t put it down. I look forward to seeing what the author produces for us next
