Have you seen this over !? Not only is Connor easy on the eye he has a heart of gold and he cares , more SP than most ….. I just love the author dedication ❤️

Jessica is a sweetheart , your typical good girl next door and there an innocence to her that I loved!
I must be honest I’d have given anything to be her to walk out the ladies room into a tatted , blu eyed , delectable “ road block “ 🥰🤣🙈🔥that claims my glossy lips 🤣

Jessica gave Connor a mouthful when he first swooped in and she me spitting my morning coffee all over the place with her attempt at feisty and Connor’s reaction simply added fuel to the fire 🥰🔥

Sadie girl you’re a hoot and the way you were rooting for “ Saint Con” just tickled me pink and I’d love to have you in my corner 🥰

Jessica and Con spend a sizzling night together and while Jessica wants to crawl into a hole Con has other ideas starting with flowers ….

Waiting for Con to arrive on their first real date was exciting till he doesn’t pitch and just as she wants to wallow it comes to light that there’s been a shootout Con’s truck is in the area and has been trashed but he’s nowhere to be found and my blood runs cold …..

Con was badly beaten and dumped and finds himself in a land bruised and battered but thankfully a farmer comes to his aid …he can’t help himself as he’s in hospital , medically induced coma , he’s no form of identification on him so nobody can be contacted , it a mess and his people are worried 😢

Jessica is frantic and worried sick for Connor and the police are no real help but lucky for her she has an epic support in her friends and they rally around her and search for Connor….

A brilliant read with dashes of suspense , twists romance , friendship , faith , mystery , intrigue and tension that come together in this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟read !

For starters I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I chose to read this book… lol I read strictly because of the author and did not read the description. Which should tell you how I feel about the author! Anyway, Saint Con was great! I feel like it may have been on the shorter end story wise but didn’t take anything away from what was presented.
Jess and Connor(Saint Con as he is known) are our main characters as well as lawyers. Now that tidbit wasn’t surprising knowing who the author is.
Both of which failed at an attempt to serve their faith. Yet they still help others in their profession. Connor’s help of the less fortunate is honorable. They also met at a wine bar and Connor instantly knew she was it for him.
How was he going to convince her?
Be persistent but let her have the reins. Seemed like a great plan till he didn’t show up for their first date. Jess feeling like he didn’t care gave up on him, not realizing a tragic accident was keeping him away.
What happened?
How will this impact what was growing between them?
It’s one of those books that reads like you’re watching a movie. Are you team Jess or are you team Connor comes into play. Either way you just want everyone to be happy. The author displays a great deal of emotion and sacrifices these characters have to make to be there. Love, compassion, lies of omission, family, ect all there beautifully wound together in a great story.

This book had more twists and turns than I was expecting. The characters were fun. I would love to know the background between Sydney and Dan. The action is nonstop.

When Jessica bumps into a wall of muscle outside a bar bathroom, she didn’t know it was the Connor O’Brien. She also didn’t realize all the chaos that would result. One day she is fine by herself, the next day she is involved with Connor O’Brien. He tells her that she is the one and he is never letting her go. When he stands her up for their first official date, she feels like a fool. Turns out, he didn’t exactly stand her up. Connor was beaten and kidnapped.

Connor O’Brien thought he was going to be a priest but thanks to a negative encounter with an interested professor, it was decided that the priesthood was not for him. Connor went to law school and became a “street lawyer”. He used an old food truck as his office and met the clients where they were. He catered to the homeless and folks that could not afford traditional lawyers. He was known as Saint Con throughout the neighborhoods he worked.

One day, he was beaten up in his office and then disappeared. The police could do nothing because there was no evidence of a crime. His un-official girlfriend couldn’t report him missing, yet. The cops told her only his family could. When they got to town, his family got the run-around. No evidence, no crime, no missing person. However, the community led by Jessica pulled together and started searching. Through leads and other avenues, Connor was found.

I don’t want to give too much away here. But it was not easy sailing from there. With a second abduction, the hunt for Connor is once again on. Can Connor survive long enough to even have a relationship with Jessica?

Never a dull moment in this book. It is a super quick read for the number of pages. A good story!!

This is my first time picking up a book by this author, Seelie Kay and I quite enjoyed it 🥰. I made quick work reading this story. Even though it was only 13 chapters long this story was filled to the brim with a whole lotta greatness. Jessica Knight and Connor O’Brien meet cute started out with a BANG! 😂jk jk it was just a bump, even though Mr Connor would’ve loved more. The tense suspense, danger, romance, and the back and forth between the two keeps you entertained the whole time reading. I am really looking forward to reading more of Seelie Kay’s work. It says her favorite writing trope is kinky lawyer stories and im kinda loving it 😍

This was a gripping love at first sight romance with plenty of drama and suspense which kept me hooked throughout. Former priest turned street lawyer for the homeless of Milwaukee and apparent bad boy Connor, literally bumps into self-proclaimed good girl Jessica in a wine bar. Following a passionate night together Jess is skeptical of Con’s intentions, but over the next few days he manages to charm her and she starts to believe it could be real love. However, unexpectedly Con dose not show up for their first real date and Jess thinks she’s been ghosted and is devastated. Jess then realises that Con is a actually missing but the police will not help as there is no proof he’s been harmed, and he’s not a vulnerable adult. Convinced that he’s in danger Jess enlists her friends to help find him and eventually Con is found but he’s dangerously injured and in a coma. Sadly their promising relationship may be over much too soon. This was a fairly short story but it took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. The intriguing storyline flows well and the plot twists kept the suspense high, whilst the characters and the setting came to life making me feel fully immersed in the story. The chemistry between Jess and Con sizzled off the page and I loved their developing relationship, and was hoping they would both get their HEA. An enjoyable, entertaining and engaging read and one which I recommend reading.

Saint Con by Seelie Kay. This is such a good romantic suspense read. I love this author and this genre so it was right up my alley. Its the story of Jessica a corporate attorney and Con a former priest turned street lawyer who tries to help the homeless. When Jessica runs into Con at a wine bar she instantly dislikes him. He’s rude and not friendly at all but there’s something about him that intrigues her. Con is smitten with Jessica and he finally wears her down. Their relationship is moving pretty fast when Con goes missing. Jessica had devoted her life to her job and was very rigid in life but Con had changed all that and now she will do whatever it takes to find him. This is a quick read and a great romantic suspense!

Jessica Knight literally bumps into Connor O’Brien (aka Saint Con), once priest turned lawyer. After a night of conversation and chemistry, Jessica warms up to the idea of starting something with Con…only to be stood up on their first date. Then it turns out Con is missing, and the plot thickens! The chemistry between the main characters added levity to the story and had me easily picturing the story throughout. Though the story was short, the pacing of the story and the way it was written makes the plot really come to life!

Saint Con by Seelie Kay is an engrossing mystery- a bit of a romantic suspense intermingled with tension, danger, chemistry, intrigue, angst, emotion, humour, banter, and dramatic developments.
It is a short story, which makes for a very quick and easy read. I’m not sure what I was really expecting from this, as Ms. Kay loves to mix things up and always manages to surprise me- in a good way. After the first couple of chapters I thought I was in for a bit of a romcom- but then things took an unexpected turn where Ms. Kay twisted things up a bit and added a mystery/suspense angle too. She turned what I thought would be a simple, albeit enjoyable romcom, into quite a clever, complex, multi-faceted storyline- packing a lot into a small package. In true Seelie Kay fashion, it is immersive and impactful!
I really enjoyed this clever suspense. But it was the characters who stole the show for me. I really loved the characters, I enjoyed their chemistry, personalities, funny banter, quips, and antics. It made them more realistic and quite endearing.
Well worth the read!
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Seelie Kay!

I really enjoyed this book. Con and Jessica’s romance was quick but romantic. I was concerned about how fast they were moving, but could tell Con was super into Jessica and that wasn’t going away anytime soon. When tragedy struck, my heart kind of broke a little wondering how things would play out with their future. I was confused about how Jessica’s friend Syd and Con’s brother knew each other but, it didn’t deter from the point of the book. The thoughts behind the book and the concept of the story was great. I like how this author worked, helping the homeless into this book, it flowed so nicely and really makes you think how you can help in your own area.

Let me preface this with saying that I am surprised that I gave this 4 stars.
I’m an avid smut reader and this was the opposite. This was a pure romance.
It was a spiritual romance.
It was a book I didn’t know I needed to read in a time that I needed it…especially
in the state our world is in.

Saint Con is a street lawyer. A lawyer who was supposed to be a priest. A man from a good Irish family. A legend. A looker. A hero to many.

Jessica is a lawyer as well. A stuffy, prudish lawyer. A lawyer that forgot how to live life. How to live in the present…until a chance meeting with the legend himself.

And then life becomes about as discombobulated for both of them when the Saint goes missing.

Faith is questioned. God is questioned.

Faith answers. God answers.

Read the story to find out about a happily ever after…

Wow this book was amazing. It si a passionate love at first sight story but with so many twists and turns I wasn’t sure our couple would ever get their happy ever after.
The author’s writing really brings the characters to life and it makes this story so engaging that you won’t be able to put it down.

When Con and Jessica meet after literally bumping into each other at a bar, Con knew she was the one for him and he had to be with her. Jess on the other hand was not as confident, not wanting to get her hopes up. However Con is determined to prove to her that its love at first sight and goes out of his way to do that. So Jess is more than a little confused when their date arrived and Con doesn’t show up.
Feeling heartbroken and angry at being led on Jess leaves feeling like she was played with. She plans to move on and forget Con until it comes to light that Con is missing.

What follows is a story that at times made me cry and made me doubt that they would ever get the break to see if what they have is real. With kidnapping, amnesia, PTSD and an attack which altered the course of both of their lives will they ever be able to find their way back to each other or will what they have disappear just like Con did on that fateful day.

Connor O’Brien is a former priest turned street lawyer and advocate for the homeless. Jessica Knight is a corporate attorney who happens to run into “Saint Con”, quite literally. He’s a bit forward in his mannerisms and before they know it, as soon as they run into each other, they are separated. Jessica has a bad feeling about this and is about to swear men off indefinitely when new information comes to her attention that changes everything. Will Con ever return to her?

This was a gripping novella that keeps you in suspense. The story is intriguing and engaging throughout. One minute I was a fan of Con’s, the next minute I wasn’t. This is one of those I couldn’t put down until I finished it.

I was so excited to see Seeli Kay is back with another wonderful book Saint Con. Her work always packs a punch and I love her work, so I grabbed it and jumped right in.
This engaging story flowed seamlessly making it so easy to get lost in and become so engrossed in the journey that you lose all sense of time. The feelings Seelie’s writing evokes are strong and complexities keeps you on your toes and you are not sure what to expect next.
Saint Con is a quick, easy and nicely paced read and is full of danger and action, strong emotions, drama, thrills, tension, pain, suspense, hope, want, need and fear and lots, lots more. I love reading Seelie’s tales as she transports you to another place with her narrative and cleverly pulls all the threads of the plot together to make on explosive experience for the reader.
The characters are relatable and just brilliant making it hard to not become invested in them. They are strong and out to right wrongs and the injustices of the world.
Jessica thought she had finally found the one, but it seems fate has other plans. Or does it? Pulling up her big girl panties she takes it upon herself to find the truth even if it kills her. Can she find out what is going on before it is too late?
I won’t share too much as you have to experience it by yourself.
This might be my favourite book yet, and I know I’ve said that before, but Seelie keeps on raising the bar.
This is a fantastic book and as always, I look forward to more from Seelie.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have loved this series! Book 3 has taken me even deeper yet again with Donovan and Shirley, and I could see as clear as day things were about to get very complicated. Book 3 brings back the devilish Coalition who want Donovan and his family at all costs and they are using any means necessary. Its become clear they are out to get anyone and everyone who is not a full breed vampire, and they are ready to go to war for it. As time runs out Donovan and Shirley must save not only their family but the fate of the world at hand who is now at the hands of the Coalition. With humor, drama, suspense , and only the charm Donovan can provide we watch as he sets out save everyone in what may be the very end as the paranormal world and the human world preparing for a fight to the death.

The Traits are back, still on the run and fighting against the Coalition that wants them dead. As the fight continues others join. Half bloods, who are treated like second class citizens, fight for the right to be an equal part of the vampire nation. Will the war remain hidden from the humans- as it must? Will the half bloods succeed? Will the Traits be able to keep their children safe? Will everyone survive the fight? What side will win?
This is the third installment in the Donovan Trait series. I enjoyed this one as much as the first two. I would strongly suggest reading this series in order just for the background and charter building. I would recommend reading not only this book but, this series.

This has been a great series! It picks up where the second book left off on the island. The Coalition is out to get Shirley and the whole Trait family. As they work to stay safe and find the secrets behind the Great Lie you learn more about the pure bloods past. You also get to know more of the Trait family especially Marilyn. As the fight unfolds they start to try and repair what has been broken by the Coalition. Definitely a good series to read!

Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass! (Donovan Trait Book 2)Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass! by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass! is the second book of the Donovan Trait series. The story picks up where book one ended; if you have not read book one I would suggest reading it first. Trait and his love interest Judge Shirley Magnusen are set to marry. Since it is a vampire marriage it is far more complicated than a human one. The couple must sign an agreement with the Vampire Coalition. 1. Magnusen must be turned and 2. conception and pregnancies of any kind the Coalition has control of. When it is discovered that the couple did not uphold their end of the deal they go on the run while trying to find a solution. Will they find one? Will they be safe? Can they protect their family? Will the changes lead to bigger issues among the vampire community?

I would recommend reading this story if you enjoyed the first and want to see what adventures await the couple.
