This is my first time reading a book by Izzibella Beau and let me tell you that she had me hooked from page one. Revelations had me turning pages faster then I could blink and had me on the edge of my seat. If you love pranormal romance then I highly recommned Revelations. It is full of creative characters,  great little hometown scenery, and a love interest that has this reader ecstatic for book too. For only being 185 pages Revelations was a quick and extremely exciting read.

New town, New life, New kid at high school the joy, the sarcasm, Now there’s a jerk who won’t stop staring.

Fuck my life my Mate is the new girl. Pack problems and with my father is the Alpha. I don’t need this right now.

Drama does not begin to explain the mess this group of people enter in the first chapter of this book and you can’t put this don’t. Werewolves, Mates and High School oh my!

Revelations was written really well. I felt bad for Madison and the back and forth she had with Jacob. I connected with everyone except Jacob. He reminds me of the high school jocks I dealt with in high school. I hope he gets his head on straight and fesses up to his mistakes. The different points of view got a little confusing to follow at first, but once I got the hang of it I was able to follow who was “speaking” that cliffhanger got me real good and I can’t wait to read the next book! I seriously couldn’t put this book down!

Do you ever know what you are getting into when you love someone? Nothing in West Lakes is as it appears to be. Emily soon learns this after moving to the small town. She definitely did not expect Zach or the secrets that reveal themselves. This is a great start to the series and I cannot wait for book 2. This is a great page turner so careful reading when you have to be up the next day!

More of a coming of age story with a paranormal twist and some mystery. Would rate as upper YA/New Adult as there is sex talk and some sexy scenes.

I found the new (to me) take on the werewolf pack, where it’s only males born into the pack and females are brought in via being a mate, very interesting. I also liked reading about the core group’s (Zach, Danny, Alex, Madison and Emily) dynamics and how it changed throughout the school year, with them each discovering more about themselves and each other. There’s hints of “friends to lovers,” “enemies to lovers,” and “Mate” romance. Something for every paranormal romance fan to enjoy.

I wished we got more of the “mystery” aspect in book 1, but it’ll keep me hanging on for book 2!

I enjoyed this novel by Izzibella Beau. I really enjoy books about vampires and werewolves, and to my delight this book featured both. The story of Zach, Emily, and their gang of friends is full of fun and some adventure. Izzibella Beau has created a vibrant world with strong characters. The story kept my interest and left me looking forward to continuing the journey. I want to see if Zach, Emily, and their friends can triumph and find their happy ever after.

4 out of 5 stars. Revelations (Separate Worlds Book 1) by Izzibella Beau is a fantastic YA paranormal novel. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I couldn’t read it fast enough! Thank goodness it’s book 1 of a series. This book brings to life relatable characters and intertwines their tales beautifully into a saga that rivals Twilight. Yeah. I said it.
Zach and Emily’s stories are compelling right from the start, and the twists and turns this tale takes makes this book a page turner, for sure. The town of West Lakes jumps off the page, and all the while, holds a haunting mystery about it. This is a great escape story, while still being relatable for young adults. I definitely recommend this book.

When I started this book I could not put it down. This author’s use of details makes this story pull you into the story from the beginning. Her plotline kept me turning the pages. I needed to know what was coming next. The characters were lively, engaging, and complexed. This book is about Zach and Emily. They come from two very different worlds and they need to be cautious about the people in their life. They need to look into the world with their eyes open and watch their backs. I highly recommend this book to see all the twists and turns that happen in the world for Zach and Emily.

I am not a fan of cliffhangers, and when a book ends on one, I predict the ending and am satisfied with my conclusion. In this case- the book worm in me refuses to be satisfied with any but Izzibella’s book 2. I enjoyed every bit of this novel. The plot was easy to follow, whimsical and I appreciated that Emily and Zach’s relationship was organic. Sometimes secondary characters may come off as annoying- but not this was not the case, I found that they added to the creative balance of the book. At one point I was rooting for Madison and Jacob- their chemistry is explosive. Izzibella does have a knack for producing an entertaining and engrossing novel- do not just take my word for it, read it for yourself I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Revelations (Separate Worlds Book 1)Revelations by Izzibella Beau
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Zach and Emily are just two seniors in high school in West Lakes, Zach is part of a big family and is close to his siblings, but he has friends who are like family to him as well, but Emily is the new kid in town with only her Aunt who she lives with, but no friends because she moves around so much because of her Aunt’s work. As they both embark on a new school year, they are polar opposites from completely separate worlds, but when those worlds collide nothing will be the same.

As Zach prepares for his new school year, he has the usual single word conversation with his younger brother as he is woken up too early by him coming home too late, they are the complete opposite in personality, if not in looks, but they are still family despite annoying each other to death, whereas Emily is still unpacking from her move and takes a welcome break to go to the mall with her Aunt to get some new clothes for the start of the new school year, she wants to make a good impression as the new kid in town and is not overly sure that the nerves aren’t going to get the better of her in the end.

When the fateful first day arrives, Zach is happy to see his friends, but when he has to go to the administrators office to get his schedule instead of it being at the seniors table, he is more than annoyed with the delay, but when he enters, there is a girl in there before him, she intrigues him, but when she turns around he is lost and when she turns around she isn’t as stunned into silence as him. This girl is Emily as she collects her schedule as well after being dropped off at the school, she smiles at the hot guy standing in front of her, but politely excuses herself when he just stands there and stares at her rudely. As she is trying to find her way to her locker and first period, she is approached by a couple of girls as she is attempting to keep her head down and avoid the usual stares and comments as she walks by, especially from the other hot guys who were in the office before her and it turns out that the guy from earlier is in her first period and as the girls introduce themselves and him, he walks her to their class, but barely says two words to her.

Zach is completely distracted by Emily and has no idea why as he doesn’t normally react to girls like that and it makes him more and more annoyed as the day goes on, especially when Emily is invited to join their group at lunch and then to shopping, the football game and the dance afterwards that Friday. As the days pass, Zach gets a handle on his emotions and inner conflicts and gets to know Emily more, she is as happy with this turn of events as he is and they become closer as time goes on. Will this be the moment when Emily can finally stop moving around and will Zach finally find an attraction like he never has before, or is it all just teenage hormones and nothing more? This is a sweet romance with some adult themes, but it is a romance with a twist which keeps you wanting to know more about their different worlds and what will happen as time goes on between them.

Revelations (Separate Worlds #1) by Izzibella Beau

This is the first book I’ve read by Beau. Revelations had me hanging on the edge of my seat. This wonderful page turner will leave you wanting more.

Emily is once again new in town. Living with her aunt who is always moving is hard. The last year of school is always the worst time to start fresh. The quote I chose for Emily is: “Aunt Maureen would like you to come over this weekend, I think Sunday. She wants to have some type of group talk and would like you to be there.”

Zach is a wolf. He and his two brothers are future Alphas. When his brother, his best friend and himself find their mates he wonders what’s going on. The quote I chose for Zach is: “I haven’t seen him. He came in yesterday evening, but I didn’t get a chance to speak with him. Why?”

Highly recommended for Paranormal Romance lovers.

Revelations is Book one in the Separate Worlds Series. it is an amazing start too, I might add. I absolutely loved it, once started! I legit could not set the book aside until I read it all. I love a good YA paranormal, shifter, romance book. This book has it all, shifters, suspense, high school drama and romance, and of course secrets. Really enjoyed the characters, they’re easy to get to know and understand and they are very connectable. The story-line was amazing and had its share of twists and turns, the more you read. Be warned, this book does end on a cliffhanger. But it is just the beginning in its series, so more is to come I’m sure! I will definitely be reading Book two when it is released. I NEED to know what happens next in the shifter world for sure.

5 stars!

I love this book! The story completely drew me in from the beginning, and I fell in love with all the characters. Jacob was super annoying, I was getting really mad for poor Madison, and the fact that he goes against pack law not once but twice is also slightly concerning. Zach and Emily are the sweetest together, but the way Zach treats Emily towards the end when the big bomb was dropped had me angry. I can understand why he would be upset but it is always better to talk things out instead of walking away and avoiding it. It also seem as the end he gets all up in his feelings and might make the worst decision he could regarding his and Emily’s future relationship. I was more invested in Jacob and Madison’s relationship than the others but still want to know what will happen. I can not wait until the next book comes out, I need to know what happens!

This was a great book!! I was super disappointed when it ended, and with a cliffhanger at that! I enjoy books about the supernatural world and this one was not a disappointment.

The characters were lovable and struggled with not only normal high school issues, but learning how to deal with their legacies. I think puberty is hard enough without having to deal with if you are a wolf, witch, or dealing with vampire enemies.

I am definitely looking for the next installment of this series!!

I’ve always loved a good paranormal romance, but haven’t picked one up in quite a while. Revelations brought me back to my teen years when these kinds of reads were my absolute favorite! I loved that you got to know more than one couple in this book. Though it seemed to focus mostly on Zach and Emily, and I loved the start to their story. It definitely left off on a cliffhanger, but I’ll be coming back to see what happens next for this group of friends.

There’s teenage angst but not over the top and a good dose of chemistry with a splash of paranormal thrown in. Zach and his buddies are enjoying their final year in high school (for most of them). However, this is a hard time for him and his friends because they going through some not-so-human changes thanks to being shifters. While they are feeling the pull their mate bonds, they are also focused on revenge. They have a hatred toward the vampires since they tore their family apart.
Emily has just moved in with her aunt and is forced to complete her senior year at a new school. Luckily she makes friends quickly…but she also catches the eye of Zach. Before too long, secrets are spilled that can put an end to Emily and Zach’s relationship before it even really gets a chance to grow.
This book is filled with wonderful characters and the author’s words have a way of pulling you into the story so you feel like you are there. Once it was over, I was left wanting more…so I am looking forward to the next book.

I got grown up Twilight/True Blood vibes from this story. I did really enjoy this book and found the character development that took place over the course of the book really well done. I especially liked the Jacob and Madison character arc. I could tell that the author had considered each different character arc and how the plotlines would interlink, and this was well thought out. When Emily starts a new school, she meets Zach, brother of the school’s star football player and resident bad boy, and his best friend’s Madison, and Danny and Alex who have just started dating. I liked the supernatural element of this story and am looking forward to each different character’s supernatural abilities being shown more in the next instalment.

This was a great read. I have read other books by this author so I figured it would be a good book but it was better than my expectations. Zach and Emily come from different worlds but that doesn’t stop the pull they feel for each other. Their senior year comes with it’s own problems but once you add werewolves and vampires it makes for that much more. I was completely drawn into this story with the author’s attention to detail. I had a hard time putting down this book, needing to know what was going to happen next and then at the end I was left with a cliffhanger!! I need to read the next one right now!! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

Tensions are high in the West Lakes community as thoughts of revenge hang in the air.

Zach and Jacob are a senior and a junior at West Lakes High School. Zach has the muscular build of an athlete, but Jacob is the athletic star. Zach, his best friend, Danny, and Jacob are all members of a pack of shapeshifters, or werewolves. Coming of age is making it difficult for these three young men as both have found it hard to resist the pull to their mates. Pack law says that it must be sanctioned by the pack before they are able to claim their mate making it difficult for all three to remain focused on the revenge they seek with a vampire clan who robbed Jacob and Zach of their mother and took with her their older brother, Adam’s mate, in one attack a few years ago.

Emily Beauford moves to West Lakes with her aunt, Maureen. Emily is a senior starting off a new school. Though the move happens at the worst of times, her senior year, Emily makes fast friends with Alex and Madison. She has also attracted the attention of Zach Lovell. Zach and Emily spend a lot of time together until one day, Aunt Maureen drops a bombshell of revelations that could impact their whole relationship.

If you love werewolves and vampires, then I know you will love this book as much as I did. The characters are easy to get to know and understand. The storyline is one full of twists and turns that will have you hanging on for the next plot twist. Be warned that this book ends with a cliffhanger and leaves you wanting more of the story.

I really enjoyed this paranormal adventure. It is well written and the characters are easy to relate to. The author does q great job of getting the characters personalities across. The cliffhanger has me gripped and looking forward to the next  book.

Emily is new to the school is West Lakes. After moving with her aunt she has to start again in a new home. What she doesn’t realise is that there are people that aren’t who they seem.

Zach and his brother Jacob are shifters. Jacob is a proper playboy where as Zach has no interest in girls until the day he sees Emily.

Shifters have fated mates and Zach’s wolf is screaming that Emily is there’s but what can he do to show her that.
With his friends and brother also finding their fated mates why are they bringing the shifters and their mates together now? What is it in preparation for? And what secrets lie hidden that could blow Emily and Zach apart?

This book is the start of a wonderful YA series! The MC’s come to life on every page and keep you hooked for the duration of the book – for me it was easy to hear their voices and see them standing before me like a movie. Any YA fan who has a love for a great story will not be able to put this down by the end of the first chapter. Zach and Emily give you the heartwarming storyline, whereas Jacob and the others give you the necessary drama to make everything realistic and have it all come together. Nothing and no one in this town is what it seems to be. The ENDING!! I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. I will be waiting (im)patiently on the edge of my seat until it comes out. Revelations is the first book in the Separate Worlds series by Izzibella Beau. It is a paranormal romance, a coming of age story with shifters, teenage angst, high school drama, and interesting characters.
Emily has no idea that moving to a new town will turn her world upside down. She will soon discover that there is far more to the town, and the residents, than she could ever have imagined. So, find a comfy spot and settle in for some shapeshifting fun.
There were a few instances where the dialogue felt awkward or stilted, but overall, it was a fun read.

I was drawn into the story from the moment I started reading by the writing style. The author has created an imaginative story and one that I could picture so easily. Zack and Emily just added to this. I wanted to know more about the mystery that seemed to surround them and see where their journey would lead.
This is a relatively new author to me but I already know I will be reading more from her in the future. I enjoy everything about her books and find them exciting to read.
