Can I just start off by saying that this series as absolutely amazing!! This book is number 5 out of the series and it’s about Catteneo and Alessia, Catteneo is a strait laced follow the book kind of guy- should I say vamp? He follows everything by the book the only thing he doesn’t want or care for is love, especially with humans. He just doesn’t think it’ll ever happen for him and he’s content with that. Enter Alessia, a Psychic who has a love for the vamps and their blight and wants nothing more than to help. She’s loved vampires since she was little because her gramma told her so many stories, when they meet; Despite their attraction to each other they get on each other’s nerves and they call the other insufferable and a pain in the butt but they don’t want to be anywhere else than with each other, When situations amp up because of the factions being revved up and ready to call for an all-out war things might get worse before they get better and everything hangs in the balance, can they walk the tightrope on their feelings for each other and get over their insecurities and keep from the end of the world or will they fall and break apart upon landing?

I will admit, throughout this entire book they had me on my toes. I had no idea what was going to be said or what was going to happen, Between the connection of Adrianna and Salvatore to their messy backgrounds to how they came to be together I was on the edge of my seat I had no idea what the next page would bring and the surprises kept coming throughout the entire story. Adrianna who we meet and believe to be a bit of a stick in the mud and Salvatore the man we believe to be the devil incarnate. Two people who in almost every way shouldn’t work together but turns out to be one of my new favorite love stories!! The openness and honesty that they have with each other is absolutely beautiful and I loved every page of it.

Into the Light (Moon Harbor Series Book 3) by Kate McWilliams – Review by Shania Webb

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such an amazing book! From the first page about Ellie and Raf’s life to the last page of their journey, I couldn’t put it down. Ellie is tired of being treated like a child by her brother and his overbearing best friend, Rafael. It’s no surprise that it hurts her a little bit more than it should because she is crazy about him and wants nothing more than to be with him in every way possible. What does come as a shock is that Raf wants her just as much but doesn’t believe he’s good enough for her, she’s perfection and Raf’s past makes him believe that she would be much better if they never became anything more than how they come across… Friends but when the passion becomes too much and they finally admit their feelings to each other, skeletons from his closet come back to try to drag them apart. Can their love overcome the normal troubles of a long-forbidden relationship… Can they overcome the extra hurdles thrown their way? Can they outrun the past before it catches them? Absolutely LOVED this book!!

Master Trentino (Masters of the Consulate Book 3) by Sylvia Black – Review by Shania Webb

Master TrentinoMaster Trentino by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book focuses on Master Trentino, a pureblood who always follows the laws the Consulate puts in place and helps enforce them, that is until he sees Angel Mancino, a psychic who was brought up to hate vampires. When Angels life is put in danger by her family’s involvement in the Syndicate Trentino couldn’t care less about what the rules are and the protocol set in place by none other than himself and the other Masters of the Consulate. Brought to his world and living with him proves difficult as their attraction for the other grows stronger and while Trentino wants her as his own. He is nothing if not a gentleman in trying to give Angel the time to come to terms with her new reality and world. But Angel can’t help her feelings for him and despite trying to ignore the feelings that rise to the surface every time he’s around her. They finally no longer deny their feelings in a way that left me breathless and wanting to read even more! The surprises in this book had me not wanting to put it down.

Christian and Delilah’s love story is one that we all strive for, the amount of trust and love they have for each other is obvious from the first page. Even though they get on each other’s nerves they never stay mad long and the communication between them is amazing. When we meet them, they’re already struggling due to the fact that the Consulate tried to deny Christian’s request to take Delilah as her mate while she was human. Then Delilah’s life is put in danger, Once found its obvious to Christian that he’ll do absolutely anything for her and doesn’t care about the consequences or the Consulates opinion on her. While Christian wants her to heal and recover from the traumatic experience, Delilah wants revenge and will stop at nothing to get it but there’s only so much a human can do in a supernatural world. When a confrontation turns deadly and Delilah is caught in the crossfires, Christian refuses to even entertain the idea of existence without her and changes her. Can she adapt to her new world and rules? Will Delilah and Christians flame burn brighter or burn out??
