Murder by Moonlight was the perfect cozy mystery! The setting was unique, taking place at a theme park, and the premise of the cats as nighttime rodent patrol was clever (I am now wondering how likely this is to actually occur!) The mystery itself was intriguing and the main character, Catherine (Cat) being surprised by her ability to communicate with the head cat, Zoe, was a fun added feature of the story! I’m not sure where the series might go next, but I’ll definitely check out Felines of Fairytale Forest Book 2!

Toasted is the first book I’ve read by Isobel Reed, and I definitely see myself reading the rest of the Love Burns series! I absolutely loved how the book started off with Libby’s unfortunate fire incident and I enjoyed the character development of both main characters. The supporting characters had fun traits and backstories that make it easy to see how “spin off” books will continue on, and I hope we get to see more of Libby and Zach’s story too!
