I actually enjoyed Trinity and Shooter’s story. These two had some history. Watching them try to fix it was painful at times but as you went along it got a bit better. I enjoy this author’s story because they leave you feeling like you’ve read a real romance. She makes her stories feel like you are there in them. The characters feel so real. As Trinity is sneaking up the stairs after mudding, you can almost feel it. It’s a really good romance that I’d recommend.

Being a rodeo queen is the only dream Trinity Redhawk ever had. To be a girl with a strong platform who looked different from all the other smiling faces that she saw growing up.
But with that came the dedication to putting other things aside. And that included a relationship with Shooter Price. Breaking up with him allowed Trinity to go after her dreams and achieve her goals.
Now, she’s a week away from passing off her crown and being done with that part of her life and looking forward to something else. She can’t help but let her gaze wander and settle on Shooter all over again.
Shooter Price swallowed a bitter pill when he came home after failing to accomplish his goal and was forced to find some other avenue to go down for his adult life. What made it worse was seeing the girl who broke his young heart achieve her dreams while he was left feeling lesser.
And then they danced. Whether it was the song, the girl, the place, or all of it together, it brought something back to Shooter he thought long gone.
But the women in his family don’t care for Trinity and what she did to him. Can he establish something with Trinity now without outside interference or were they never meant to be?

Brooke May has been a Wyoming girl her entire life, most of it right here in Sheridan where the majority of her family resides. Growing up, she’s always had a wild imagination that came together to publish her first book, a cowboy romance inspired by her home and the rodeos she’s always loved attending.

Now, she continues to write where her imagination takes her with most books inspired by the scenery and beauty that is Sheridan, the Bighorns, and Wyoming. She’s a wife and mother of two and splits her time writing, playing with her kids, and of course, hiking, hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling in her favorite places in the BigHorns.

The sky isn’t the limit for her and all the stories she still has to share. There’s a little bit of everything for any romance reader; cowboys to fighters, bad boys to soldiers, werewolves to romantic comedies, and even a sweet cupid series for younger readers.
