Jake the Growling Dog Shares His Trail (Jake the Growling Dog Book 3) by Samantha Shannon – Review by Stephanie Colley

Jake the Growling Dog Shares His TrailJake the Growling Dog Shares His Trail by Samantha Shannon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jake the dog has so much to teach little ones. This is such a good book for back to school, home schooling, or even daycares. It touches base on being able to work through being scared and knowing how to talk about that to friends/family.
It’s such a good little read for parents and kids to have a jumping off point to talk about hard things.
The artwork that went along with the story is adorable also. Happy Trails Jake!!

If I had a love story to be told I wish for it to be like this!
After moving away from home. Living the life she dreamed, Charlie’s happy life came to a halt. But moving back home just might have been the best thing for her and Trent “Tank” (Charlie’s brother’s best friend).
Second chances don’t happen over night. And this story of romance, passion, and willing to try again will keep you on the edge of your seat.
I love when a romance has a happy ending. You dream for that kind of love!

Journeys Through TimeSpace (Journeys Through Book 2) by James Talisman – Review by Stephanie Colley

Journeys Through TimeSpaceJourneys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Man! I never knew I could love sci-fi adventure stories. James Talisman has become one of my favorite authors.
This second story picks up where the first left off. (It’s easier to follow a long if you have read the first book Journeys Through SpaceTime)
Action packed into every page. Friendships that last a life time. A quest to find the treasure! And of course the images that James paints of the worlds is astounding. His imagination has taken mine to a whole new level! I can picture the scenes in my mind and I want to be there. Right in the middle of the action. I read it on my kindle but this will be a series I will buy a physical copy of so I can really get down into the story when I read it again!
Highly recommend James Talisman!

FURY OF CONVICTION (The Dragonfury Series Book 2) by Coreene Callahan – Review by Stephanie Colley

Fury of Conviction (Dragonfury Short Story Collection, #2)Fury of Conviction by Coreene Callahan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such a good story. It was an easy read also.
The tale between Natalie and Hamersveld is very well told with the action and romance and, very well detailed for the shortness of the book.
From being kidnapped to kinda rescued, Natalie is having a inner battle with her feelings for her savior. Should she or shouldn’t she? That is her question.
Hamersveld is love struck with Natalie from the very beginning of the story! But he has to defy his leader to get to her. Will he? Who knows!

This was my first book by Coreene Callahan. But it won’t be the last!

Lyon Tamer by Jen Luerssen – Review by Stephanie Colley

Lyon TamerLyon Tamer by Jen Luerssen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great read. The story of a man that loves to be loved by any woman that will have him and a independent, strong woman that is not looking for anything but someone to help save the wildlife. From the very beginning this story had me hooked. It started off miniature in the romance department. Then grew and grew as the story went on.
This is how to write a love story. Jen Luerssen gained a fan with this book! Keep them coming!

If you need a quick read about neighborhood lovers that goes up in flames. This is a story for you! Don’t worry, the story end on a high setting. But worth every minute!
It’s hard to pack a good adult story into a short space but Ashley Bostock knows what she is doing with this Quickie storytelling.
I can’t wait to read more from this lady!

Journeys Through SpaceTime (Journeys Through Book 1) by James Talisman – Review by Stephanie Colley

Journeys Through SpaceTimeJourneys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is out of this world!
From the storyline, detail of the worlds and characters to the action that is packed onto the pages. It was hard to put this book down.
You follow many different characters through time and space that all have one thing in common, they hear a voice. From someone that doesn’t know much about the MultiVerse this story was a tad bit different for me to read. But it made me want to learn more so I would understand better.
Even though this story is detailed and very well written, you need to pay attention to everything. Which makes you want to read it again. Plus, there is a guide of characters at the beginning of the book just in case you forget someone! That helped a ton.

Manifested DreamsManifested Dreams by Yvonne Johnson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every family has a storyteller.
Finding out how ones family pass down stories through the years is very interesting. Because how is one person suppose to remember all the happenings of the past without writing it down?
In Manifested Dreams it talks about the aftermath of one families grandmother that has passed. While cleaning out the house they find the stash of all past stories hidden away!
Listening to the stories of the past told from their first hand point of view was inspiring.

Deliciously Sinful Liaisons AUDIO BOOK by L.M. Mountford – Review by Stephanie Colley

I give this collection of stories a 5/5. Just for the fact that I’m at lost for words it was so good.

The 7 stories in this book would make anyone blush 10 shades of red!
If you need help getting to the point of no return this is the work of art you need in your life. The detail that went into these stories to make you feel like you are there watching or living it, is amazing! This will definitely be a book I keep thinking about for days in a pretty good way!

First, We Kill All the Lawyers (Donovan Trait Series) by Seelie Kay – Review by Stephanie Colley

First, We Kill All the LawyersFirst, We Kill All the Lawyers by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

There is only one way to start a vampire story. Make it Spicy! And author Seelie Kay did not disappoint in this wonderful book First, We Kill All The Lawyers (Donovan Trait Series).
There is no denying Donovan Trait, one of the best lawyers in town, knows what he is doing in the courtroom and in the bedroom! He is a vampire after all, they have been around the block a time or two. 300 years to be exact.
Donovan might have seen a thing or two, but never found a true love. Until now. And she is Human.
If all that wasn’t enough to keep him on his toes. Why not add a killer on the loose that wants to kill all the lawyers?
Donovan has his hands full after he is one of the first lawyers to be attacked. He has to keep his “life style” hidden since he can’t die from normal human things like being stabbed and shot.
It’s a whirlwind of emotions and crazy ups and downs. But this book is at the top of my list. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Kissing Scars by Jim Shomos – Review by Stephanie Colley

They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Well that is something I always do. Sad, but true. I picked this book because of the beautiful and colorful cover. And man, it did not disappoint. The author, Jim Shomos, was extremely detailed through out this novella. I felt as if I was living the story myself.

Two unsuspecting paths cross. Love that tangles up their world. Unknown choices, heartache, and finally after held breaths the ending we all needed. It is everything you truly dream about.

If you want a short read, but you want all the emotion and deep romantic connection, this book is for you!

Can’t wait to read more from this author.
