Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare: A Children’s Book about New Experiences, Friendship, Stress Relief, and Kindness (Jake the Growling Dog) by Samantha Shannon – Review by stephanie nicole

Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy DaycareJake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare by Samantha Shannon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare was a great feel-good children’s book. I loved the way that it showed that it’s ok to be scared, and shows children how easy it is to not be scared anymore if you put your best foot forward. The illustrations are bright, cheery, and Jake just looks so fluffy that you find yourself wanting to pet him. The story flows easily and it’s the perfect length for all young children. If you are looking for a great children’s book to read to your kids before bed then I highly recommend Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare.

I Will Bury You by Brandy Nacole – Review by stephanie nicole

I Will Bury YouI Will Bury You by Brandy Nacole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book by Miss Brandy Nacole, and she did not disappoint. Psychological thrillers are not normally my thing but all I can say about I Will Bury You is WOW!!!! If you love psychological thrillers full of love, death, and so many surprising twists and turns that it makes your head spin then I definitely recommend I Will Bury You but I will warn you that Miss Nacole will have you guessing until the very end. This psychological thriller is beyond dark, complex, and so detailed that you’ll want to read it more than once to try and catch all the little details and clues that Miss Nacole leaves us.

Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Alpha Bet Guys Boxed SetAlpha Bet Guys Boxed Set by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve never read anything by Miss Alexander before and The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set was an interesting choice for me. 5 stories each one about 100 pages long and each one introduces a new Alpha male and a girl whose love makes him realize love with always win in the end. Each story was a page turner and left this reader anxiously anticipating the next story. Miss Alexander develops her characters very well making it darn near impossible for you to not picture them as real people inside your head. But if you are looking for something fun and exciting to read then I would highly recommend The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set.

Seductive Prey (Relentless #1)Seductive Prey by Vivian Fiano
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read a few of Vivan Fiano’s books, and they are always page turners that leave me wanting more, Seductive Prey was definitely amongst those books. Miss Fiano’s word building is incredible and her character descriptions will leave you feeling like her characters are standing right in front of you. Seductive Prey is full of so many plot twists that you find yourself trying to guess what the characters are up to next. Seductive Prey is the first book in this series and this reader personally can’t wait for book two, I’m sure it will be as suspenseful and adventurous as Seductive Prey.

Peaceful Slumber (Soul Connection Book 1) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Peaceful Slumber (Soul Connection, #1)Peaceful Slumber by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Peaceful Slumber will have you flipping pages faster than you can blink. Nikki Lynn Barrett has really outdone herself with this “ghost story”. After reading the synopsis of this story i was hooked right away, and Nikki definitely did not disappoint. Peaceful Slumber is an emotional roller coaster ride so make sure you have a box of tissues handy for all the tear jerking moments, but youll have quite a few heart-warming moments and be smiling by the end. But if you want a ghost story full of  twists and turns, love, deceit, wonderfully developed characters and a plot that keeps you guessing until the very end then I highly recommend Peaceful Slumber.

Ocean’s Light (Blood of the Pirate BOOK 1) by Mina Chara – Review by Stephanie Nicole

The Ocean's LightThe Ocean’s Light by Mina Chara
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you love stories that include pirates, adventures to far away places, treasure and just fantasy stories in general then you will love Mina Chara’s The Ocean’s Light. The Ocean’s light is filled with miraculous treasure, swashbuckling pirates, and very detailed character and location descriptions that make you feel like you’ve been pulled to the depths of the ocean. Miss Chara grabs her readers attention from page one and never lets it go. I’m not sure what I expected when it came to this adventure story but i can certainly say that it was truly a breath fresh air. Much like miss Chara’s Hero High series I couldn’t put this first book down and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Wolf’s Beautiful Beast (The Untold Stories Book 3) by Suzanna Lynn – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Wolf's Beautiful Beast (The Untold Stories, #3)Wolf’s Beautiful Beast by Suzanna Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was hooked on the “Untold Stories” from the beginning and Wolf’s Beautiful Beast got me even more addicted from page one. Wolf’s Beautiful Beast is the 3rd installment to the “Untold Stories”, and I could not wait to get my hands on it. Suzanna Lynn has certainly outdone herself with the retelling of classic stories. Once again Suzanna Lynn gives us fabulous character descriptions, along with fantastic descriptions of all the lands that our brave and adventurous characters travel too, making her readers feel as if they are traveling right along with her characters. Growing up Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney story, so I knew I would love Wolf’s Beautiful Beast right away. Filled with far off kingdoms, shape shifting, princess’s, and many other favorite fairy tale characters not only do i highly recommend Wolf’s Beautiful Beast but i recommend the whole “Untold Stories” series. I can’t speak for everyone but I for one can’t wait to see where Suzanna Lynn takes us next.

Red’s Tangled Tale (The Untold Stories Book 2) by Suzanna Lynn – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Red's Tangled Tale (The Untold Stories, #2)Red’s Tangled Tale by Suzanna Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Suzanna Lynn has done it again the second installment to this series Red’s Tangled Tale had this reader glued to her seat and wanting more.  The first installment Hook’s Little Mermaid left me instantly looking for the second installment and I wasn’t disappointed. We are first introduced to Red in Hook’s Little Mermaid, but Red’s Tangled Tale delves deep into Red’s life, where we learn vital details of what makes Red tick. Once again Suzanna Lynn gives us great character development, a painted picture in her scenery descriptions, and more action. Red’s Tangled Tale is full of everything that a fantasy reader could ask for including pirates, wolves, a troubled town and a cursed forest, and several other fascinating twists and turns. Love Between the Lines by A.D. Brazeau – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Love Between the LinesLove Between the Lines by A.D. Brazeau
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love Between the Lines is a fantastic lighthearted romance. A.D. Brazeau keeps it light and funny with interactions between Marlowe, Iris, and Lucy, but she also kept this reader on the edge of her seat with the romantic reactions between Marlowe and Heath. This is my first read from this author but i can promise it wont be my last. Love Between the Lines has everything that a girl could ask for in a romance novel, including a trio of tight- knit girlfriends, a couple of perfect guys, beautifully described scenery, and even a couple of plot twists. If you want a funny, sweet, and romantic novel then I highly recommend Love Between the Lines.

THE ISTANBUL HEIST (CODE RAVEN SERIES Book 8) by LYNDA FILLER – Review by Stephanie Nicole

THE ISTANBUL HEIST: Code Raven 8THE ISTANBUL HEIST: Code Raven 8 by Lynda Filler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Istanbul Heist is the 8th installment to this series, and once again follows the Raven Group through a wild and adventurous ride through the beautiful city of Istanbul. It has everything could ask for in a espionage book, including action, love, secrets, lies, and a twist around every corner. Miss Filler goes into great detail in describing the city and the many wild characters that make up the Raven group, almost making you feel like you are right in the middle of all the action. Even though this is the 8th installment to this series Miss Filler pays such attention to detail that you could read any one of these installments as a stand-alone story. I highly recommend this book and look forward to many more from this author.

To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland – Review by Stephanie Corbin

To be a Fae Queen (Realm Chronicles #1)To be a Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you love epic fantasy tales that take you to worlds beyond your wildest imagination, then you will love Tricia Copleland’s To be a Fae Queen. Based on a young female Fae in a long line of Monarchs this book took me by surprise. I found myself getting lost in the details of the Fae world and its many realms had me lost for hours. Not only does Tricia Copland paint us the perfect picture she also gives us fantastic Character descriptions. To be a Fae Queen really has it all, action packed trials and battles, young love, friendship, and of course magic. Since I didn’t want to put this book down, I was beyond glad that this was book 1 of this series, i look forward to more from this author and this series.

Hook’s Little Mermaid (The Untold Stories BOOK 1) by Suzanna Lynn – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Hook's Little Mermaid (The Untold Stories #1)Hook’s Little Mermaid by Suzanna Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you love twisted tales about beloved characters like Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big bad Wolf then you will love Suzanna Lynn’s “Hook’s Little Mermaid”. This tale is a definite page-turner that I promise you won’t want to put down. I know I didn’t. Mrs. Lynn gives you a great back story on Jameson Shaw (Captain Hook ) in a great spinoff of a classic fairy tale. Her attention to detail and character description is phenomenal and leads the reader down a trail of great imagination. While this twisted tale has a darker concept, it is a fantastic read and I would recommend to any reader that loves fantasy.
