Indebted to the Vampires (The House of Durand Book 1) by Erin Bedford – Review by Stephannie Zaleski

Indebted to the VampiresIndebted to the Vampires by Erin R. Bedford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved reading this book and tore through it honestly in about 2 hours because I was so enticed by it. Erin R Bedford write this seemingly normal story that turns into this exciting, steamy story with all these twists and turns as you get to know all the characters throughout the story. You get to see why they are the way they are and why they make each decision. I think my favourite in the main character because shes so strong as sassy. She stands up for herself even though throughout the book it does get her into trouble but its admiring none the less. I’m very excited to read the next book she writes in the series!

How Could I ForgetHow Could I Forget by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was such an enjoyable read because it starts off kinda awkward but really cute and then builds into this story where the 2 main characters meet up later in life and everything has changed. you get to watch them as they figure out this whole new journey with all the twists and turns. There also is the added bonus of one hilarious aunt who is super sassy! I really loved the character development in this book and I look forward to reading the rest of them.

2am Secrets2am Secrets by M. Piper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was amazing! it was such a steamy read but also I loved the character development between Sadie and Archer! There was a clear plot line with goals and fears as well as some well written funny side characters. There were parts of the book where your heart would just melt but somehow it would always turn itself back around. I would love to read more by M. Piper for sure! definitely need to read this if you’re on the fence.

Brutal & Raw: Mafia Romance & Psychological Thriller (Beneventi Family Book 1) by Sonya Jesus – Review by Stephannie Zaleski

Brutal & Raw (Beneventi Family, #1)Brutal & Raw by Sonya Jesus
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So I will start off this review by saying that I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book. Once I started however it was hard to put it down. Sonya Jesus has this uncanny ability to really put you into the book and make you feel like you’re right there with the character as she winds down a path you don’t really see coming. It’s such an intense read that is a little messed up in the best possible way if that makes sense. I hate horror movies but this was a fascinating read!

Chasing Starlight: Cassandra’s Story (The Daughters of Night Chronicles) by Matilda Reyes & Jennifer Siddoway – Review by Stephannie Zaleski

Chasing StarlightChasing Starlight by Jennifer Siddoway
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. It’s plot lines kept me on my toes throughout the entire story. Cassandra is a wonderful main character that you can relate to very well with her struggles in her regular life, relationship as well as the magical world and being a Fae. I liked how each plot intertwined itself with each other to end in this thrilling unforeseeable ending. I could literally not put down this book.

Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) by MJ Masucci – Review by Stephannie Zaleski

Broken by LoveBroken by Love by M.J. Masucci
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed reading this book. M.J. Masucci does a wonderful job of describing the characters but also the scenes so it makes it so easy to completely immerse yourself in the story. We started the journey with Lexi finding out she was going to be working for her ex fiance. There’s a lot of internal struggle from Lexi as she faces new tasks and challenges she’s faced with balancing her new job working as well as a soon to be husband. This juicy read comes with a plot twist in the end that I did not see coming but I love how the book ended and set itself up for the possibility of a second. I would definitely recommend this book to read and I look forward to the second one to come!
