Wow this book was absolutely amazing and I just could not put it down, so instead of trying to put it down I sat there and binged it in one sitting! This story was so interesting and not at all what I expected in a Cinderella retelling because it blew my expectations away. The three main characters in this book are Ashling, Prince Callum and his amazing husband, and I absolutely loved these characters. They were written so well! The world this retelling is told in however is much more than meets the eye and with fantastic world building you are thrown into a world where dark magic is what took her father from her and threatens to destroy everything good before the clock strikes midnight. I can not recommend this book enough! Definitely a must read!

Whew, I’m blown away! That cover drew me in, not going to lie. Don’t judge a book by its cover usually, but with this one – sure. Expertly written, I could not put it down. The atmosphere at the cottage, when the dream stuff is coming thru the barrier – I felt like I was there. I’m a sucker for great atmosphere, and Morrow knows how to create it. I love how the romance is represented in this book where they fall in love with the soul instead of pretty face. It came across as real and deep. This book is based on fairy tale of Cinderella, but def for an eighteen and older. I love the symbols in this book as well. I’m looking forward to the next story!!

Wow! I’m a sucker for re-imagined classics, especially when they’re on the darker side. This has to be my favorite retelling of a Disney type story. This book is kind of genre bending, so it should appeal to many different readers. It is gripping and well written. Pair that with being on the shorter side, and I can bet you’ll finish this book in one night. I definitely did!

So I picked up this randomly as a new read. I read it was a remake of Cinderella bit missed the bit about it being “dark” and lgbtq friendly. I thought I misread when the story mentioned the prince’s husband. I thought it was a misprint. Then I got to the first steam scene! It was very intense and but yet so passionate. I could see the love the prince and his hubby had for each other. THIS book with NOT disappoint!

I just finished reading Entwined and although it wasn’t your average romance. It was a really good read. I really enjoyed how it was a retelling of Cinderella but for adults. It was different and that’s what I like about it the most. Ashling is the Cinderella and Callum is the Prince Charming and Teague is the husband to the prince. Ashling goes to the ball in order to warn people about the creatures and didn’t plan on catching the eye of the prince. I look forward to reading the Ensnared and seeing what happens with Ashling and the guys.

I just loved this different aspect of “Cinderella” story that is a MMF Fantasy Romance. This book had me hooked from the first page and to the end!! AHHHHHH!!!! I definitely need more and cannot wait until book 2.

The retelling of this story of a beautiful ball in honor of Prince Callum and the Duke Teague for their wedding anniversary. This is where Prince Callum is also hoping to find a woman to bear children so his family can continue the bloodline. This is where the Prince meets Ashling aka Cinderella. She is there at the castle on a different mission, but the stars align and a kiss shared.

Will Prince Callum and Duke Teague find Ashling after she leaves the castle and then ends up running away from her abusive and evil step mother? There is so much I can share about this book but do not want to give anything away. This book is truly fantastic and surprised me in so many good ways. Loved this book!!

A.L. Morrow brings a whole new twist to Cinderella in this reimagined version of the fairytale. The love story begins with two princes. The need of a blood heir leads to them adding a princess to their dynamic. Ashling is essentially a maid to her step mother and step sisters. Her father walked into the woods with the monsters after a lifetime of being driven crazy by the nightmares. The princes are hot, handsome and completely in love with each other. Ashling dreams of love while battling the monsters in reality. The characters draw you in and hold you until the very end. I devoured this novel and I am so excited for the next one! LGBT 18+

One of my guilty pleasures is reimagined fairytale and this is a very unique one. I loved it. This incarnation of Cinderella is fast paced and definitely not a child’s story. There is lots of spice and chemistry. There are all the normal things like the wicked stepmother and the 2 spoiled stepsisters, the dashing prince and the slipper, but there is so much more! This version has a fierce and determined heroine! All it needed was to be longer!

I dove into this story completely blind. The cover alone got my interest. When I tell you I was surprised! In a good way. A great way. A.L. Morrow has such beautiful writing. Her descriptions of things, like the ball when Ashling and the prince were looking out at the party, has a whimsy and magic to it that kept me intrigued. What was shocking you may ask? The dynamic with Callum and Teague, and the reasoning for the ball. It was a Cinderella-esque story with so much more… spice. I loved it! The only negative is now I have to wait for more!

This book was a great read, quick and easy but full of all the right stuff. I didn’t realize there would be an erotica side to it, so that took me (pleasantly) by surprise. This is definitely not your childhood Cinderella story. The characters were well written and likeable and made you root for the heroes and truly hate the villains. The story follows a young Cinderella-like woman named Ashling who goes to a ball to warn the prince of impending danger and ends up leaving behind a shoe. Although it follows some of the plot of the original Cinderella story, this is anything but typical and has a lot to offer. The fantastic way the world is described and the idea behind the villains and how they seem to live and attack was exceptional. I really enjoyed this book and that’s why I gave it 5/5 stars. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next and how the plot and characters develop. Although the bones of the story follow the original fairy tale, I’m certain this author will make it as exciting as it would be if you were reading it all the first time. I really enjoyed this book and it only took me a couple days to read. Short, sweet and entertaining. What more can you ask for?

Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling by A.L. Morrow was a fantastic well-written book. This is an adult book. I enjoyed the retelling in an “adult” way. It was a quick, fast-paced read for me. I quickly devoured it. Not my usual genre but I loved every second of it. I love venturing outside of my usual readings to explore new things. Entwined definitely didn’t disappoint, and I believe a lot of people will enjoy it. This is my first book by this author, and I can’t wait to read more! Can’t wait to read book 2 in this series!

Entwined by A.L. Morrow is a Cinderella Retelling and the first book in the Stone and Cinder series. It is the perfect book for anyone who has always wanted to read the ‘adult’ versions of their favorite fairy tales, a genre I have wanted to read for a long time and really happy now that I finally have.

Ashling, like Cinderella, is growing up living at her father’s house in the Autumnlands, where the morning of the ball at the palace celebrating Prince Callum and Duke Teague’s, his husband, third wedding anniversary, see’s something that can endanger the entire kingdom. Banned from her stepmother from going, she must race to the palace, where she meets Prince Callum and share some special moments together.

All I knew going into reading this was that it was based off of Cinderella, but after reading it, I can say that it more than exceeded my expectations! The MMF tale is full of steamy encounters and heart-racing action scenes that will leave you unable to put the book down from the moment you start to the moment you finish it, leaving you wondering what will happen next. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

This book is AMAZING!!!! I am not patiently waiting for the second book. I thought that I had seen all the twists and turns of the classic Cinderella story but man oh man, was I wrong. This book isn’t at all what you think it might be. Yes, it has some of the same plot lines of the classic Cinderella. The step sisters, the step mother, and the Prince. That is however, where the similarities end. This book took so many twists and turns. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next but I was never disappointed by what did happen. The book has so much suspense that I was constantly turning the page to see what happens. I couldn’t stop reading this book once I started. I am normally not a fan of fantasy but this book might have made me change my mind. Not only does it contain fantasy but it is also pretty steamy. I think the biggest mistake I made when getting started with this book was going into it thinking it would be just another version of the classic Cinderella. So, if you could go into this book knowing that it will have some fundamentals but is not anything like the classic Cinderella, you should be amazed.

This is a titillating and tantalizing retelling of Cinderella. I love reading reinvented fairytales and this is like no other that I have read. This story is so sexy! The author added some monsters in the mix and this has become one of my favourites.

Although Ashling is disheartened and disconsolate, she still sees beauty in the world around her. She made a promise to her father before he disappeared and years later, she loyally has kept her word. It’s admirable. She is gentle and strong at the same time. Her stepsisters and stepmother are just as horrible as in the original. Her stepmother probably more so. There was one scene where my heart broke for Ashling.

There was more to this book than just finding true love and that’s what made it all the more interesting. The only thing that disappointed me was the ending. That’s because I truly thought that this was a stand-alone. Now I have to wait for part two. Please hurry Ms. Morrow.

Such a good read! As with all Cinderella stories your heart goes out to poor girl who lost those who loved her. Ashling is no different… her pretty mixed with her courageous spirit make her a hard character not to fall in love with. This sorry though is by far becoming one of my favorite Cinderella’s because of where she ends up! I just know that when Teague spend time with her he is going to love her I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out! Callum and Teague put a new spin on this Cinderella story with their steamy romance and to be honest I am super here for it! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!!!

Entwined is the first book in the Stone and Cinder Book series by A.L. Morrow. I really enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Cinderella.
The story is a fantasy retelling of Cinderella, and it was very well written. I enjoyed the twists and turns the story included and the twist on the original tale was a great way of writing a modern version.
If you enjoy retellings of original stories with a different twist, then I highly recommend you pick up this book and then hold on to your hat while you wait for book two in the series.

Entwined is by far my favourite retelling of the classic tale of Cinderella. This is the most original retelling I have read to date, it’s exciting, dark, touching, surprising and action-packed. There was truly never a dull moment, I did find this story to be a shorter read then I was expecting but I am highly intrigued by the storyline and am really excited to read Book 2 as soon as I possibly can.

I really appreciated how this author wrote with so much detail, from the characters, their emotions, their surroundings, even the smallest of details was there, making it very easy for me to follow along and picture everything playing out. This is a book I would recommend to any fans of the original tale of Cinderella.

This book was completely not what I expected in a Cinderella retelling but I absolutely LOVED it. Steamy, fast-paced, action packed, what a delight! It is quite a short read, which left me wanting more. The Character and World building is phenomenal, I especially liked Ashling’s strength and how this isn’t just your typical damsel in distress retelling. I picked this book up, and didn’t put it back down again until I had finished (its that good!).
*I don’t want to give away spoilers, but its worth noting that the book has M/M explicit scenes.

The Grimm Brothers would be proud. This is not a retelling of Cinderella in the traditional HEA genre. I love that the Prince truly is charming and while his name is Callum it could’ve been Charming and no one would have batted an eye. Author A.L. Marrow really knows how to drag you by the hair into a story! I love stories like that. I was so engrossed I almost missed my stop.

Back to what I was saying about the Grimm Brothers being proud of A.L. Marrow. If you have ever read a Grimm Brothers fairy tale you know how gruesome they can be. This story reminds me of that when it introduces the trom-laighe.

Every character was well flushed out and gave you a sense of “knowing” them you don’t often get in books. Ashling is charismatic, witty, strong and beautiful. Even in the face of danger from her “family” and from the trom -laighe she rises to the challenge. Since reading her father’s journal she knows how to defeat these evil creatures when no one else does. The author doesn’t focus so much on the Step Mother/Step Sister aspect that is usually emphasized and instead centers the readers attention on the enchantment and the perplexing labyrinth of mysteries surrounding Glenblath.

*One thing I will note is that this book is not intended for children and has some very erotic M/M scenes.

A.L. Morrow has brought new light to the story of Cinderella, with Entwined. A dark and twisty romance that I could not put down! The world the author created was beautiful despite the darkness that threatens beyond the arc.
Callum, the crown prince, is feeling the pressure to produce an heir to keep the arc protection from faltering and letting the darkness in. Married to the man he loves, Teague, it was decided a ball would be thrown on their anniversary to find a young lady to court and join them.
Ashling, our Cinderella of the story, only defies her stepmother’s orders and goes to the ball because the darkness has broken the barrier and she has to warn someone.
Little does she know that she has captured the attention of Prince Callum.
The character development is flawless, I felt for these characters as if they were part of my inner circle. A.L. Morrow has an interesting series developing that I can’t wait till book 2!

Entwined by A.L. Morrow, is a unique take on Cinderella. It is not recommended for children. It’s definitely an adult book. Although it had some of the classic tale’s traits, it encompassed a lot of new flair. The intimate scenes were somewhat intense. I fell in love with the Prince. Like the classic tale he has such a pure heart. On one hand the story was made more realistic. No pumpkin carriage, or fairy god mother making her dreams come true. I enjoyed how inclusive the story is of the LBGT community. This story touched upon loss, romance, courage, and survival. I cannot wait to start the sequel. I need to know how this story plays out.

A completely new retelling of an old tale and it was perfect! This is not the story of your youth so buckle up and get ready! Ashling (our Cinderella for this telling) has been raised on stories of monsters told to her by her now deceased father. The story really takes a new twist when Ashling decides to go to the ball put on by Prince Callum (Charming) and his husband who are in search of a mother to be for any future children they may have.

I loved the pace of this book and the characters. I will definitely be looking for more books by A.L. Morrow, she has piqued my interest.
