I loved this book. It was funny, steamy, emotional, scarily truthful, and so much more. I should start this review out honestly and say that accidental pregnancies are not one of my favorites. I gave it a chance because the heroine was curvy. Curvy women should have their place in all genres!!! From the first page of the first chapter, I was hooked. Harper is hilarious. Lincoln is sex personified. The 7 sisters are fan-damn-tastic.

Harper is the youngest of 7 sisters. She is a daddy’s girl. Harper enjoys the restoration part of the antique business and shares that with her father. Harper has a dream of traveling the country and picking her way through treasures. She has a head start with her secret vlog. Nothing is going to stop her from her dream, not even the stick turning pink!

Lincoln has so much to prove, to himself, to the world. Lincoln doesn’t want to ride on his parent’s coattails. He is slowly making a name for himself as an actor. His star is about to explode after his new movie. Before entering the upper realms of stardom, Lincoln takes a vacation to the place of a great memory.

When Lincoln saves a non-drowning Harper, the sparks are felt on both sides. The attraction is instant and mutual. Lincoln saves Harper again, this time from a drunk with a big mouth. Harper does something out of character for her and gives into the attraction. She spends the weekend with Lincoln. Lincoln leaves when his vacation is over with no way of contacting Harper. It takes several months for all the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place for Lincoln to see Harper again. He is in for a surprise. So is Harper!!

Did I mention that I love this story, these characters?! The author paints each character in such detail. I hope that Harper and Lincoln make an appearance in the next story!

I love this author’s touch of originality on a classic tale! This is my first read for this author and I was drawn in and hooked within the first few chapters.

The author has a writing style that flows smoothly, creating a beautiful world and very lovable characters. I had to make myself take breaks from reading, this book is definitely a page turner!

This is an enjoyable read with a touch of steamy romance, as would be expected from the title. I look forward to reading more from this author!

This is the second book in this series. This is a Contemporary Romance novel and is 270 pages in length. This story follows Kade and Harper. Kade, whose actual name is Lincoln, is an actor. When he meets Harper, he tells her his name is Kade, his middle name, to hide his fame. Harper would not know who he was anyway as she does not have time to follow celebrities. They spend an incredibly amazing weekend together. When he realizes he needs her in his life, he goes back only to find she is pregnant. Both are fighting demons of their own – can they build a relationship and raise a baby together?

I genuinely enjoyed this novel. The author truly brought the struggles, happiness, strength and love out in her characters. From the title you know the weekend fling would end up as more but I thoroughly enjoyed the little surprises that brought this story to a different level than a traditional HEA. I also love that she used a woman with a “not so perfect body” as the heroine of this story. Even the supporting characters have a great story. Definitely worth the read!!!

This is such a beautiful love story. This book absolutely blew me away from the very first page. I really like that Harper is not a size two, she has curves and Lincoln is immediately taken in by her beauty. It doesn’t take him getting to know her before he finds her attractive. He is attracted to her physically and then also mentally once he does get to know her. Harper had such a rough childhood being bullied because of her weight and she doesn’t think that anyone, much less someone as hot as Lincoln would find her so physically attractive. It doesn’t take him long to get her to see her physical beauty as well and to realize that it’s just as amazing as her inner beauty. Lincoln had a really rough childhood and doesn’t feel that he could be a good father but he takes the leap and starts to realize that not only can he do this but he wants it with all of his heart. They face some pretty rough obstacles along the way but the ending is all I could have hoped for. If you’re an absolute die heard romance fan like I am, this is one book you definitely won’t want to miss.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. This is Harper and Lincoln’s story of a chance encounter with Lincoln saving Harper from drowning to a hot, lustful weekend ending up with a positive pregnancy test. When Lincoln returns to Rhode Island to see Harper after he finishes his movie shoot, he finds out he is going to be a dad. I love how the story unfolds and you also get a feel on the past hurts that haunt both Lincoln and Harper everyday and how they come to overcome these obstacles. This story is wonderful and full some great moments and lots of love, passion and truly a HEA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is a great contemporary romance that I gave 4 stars. I had never previously read any of this author’s work but I liked the look for the blurb and was intrigued enough to give this book a go. I’m glad that I chose to give it a go as I really enjoyed it.
Although this book is the 2nd book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read the first book in the series before reading this one.
One thing I really liked about this book is that the female heroine is a larger, curvy lady. It makes such a welcome change from reading about female characters who are slim and ‘perfect’. As a larger, curvier woman myself it is empowering to read a female lead who does not comply with the norm.
I really enjoyed reading Lincoln and Harper’s story. It’s very much an opposites attract story. Harper is your everyday girl next door and Lincoln is an up and coming Hollywood movie star.
The author does a great job of pulling you into the story with an amusing first chapter and the story flows well from here and keeps the reader entertained and engaged in the story.
Would definitely recommend.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is the second book in the Curvy Ever After Series. This book tugged at my heart strings and really makes me want a real life fairytale.

Harper is a plus size woman who still has insecurities about it. When she is saved by a guy who she thinks is Prince Charming. She then finds out she is pregnant and she has no way of contacting the father. When he comes back into town she tries to ruin what may have been a good thing. The quote I chose for Harper is: “Right now, we can forget about the outside world, but what happens when we can’t do that anymore? Someone will figure out you’re here for more than a vacation, and then what ? It’s like we’re in this little bubble, and at some point, it’s going to pop. Knowing we have an expiration date scares me.”

Lincoln is an actor looking to get away for a while. He thinks he’s doing someone a favor by saving them, not once but twice. They end up spending the weekend together. Then he comes back into town and gets the shock of his life. The quote I chose for Lincoln is: “But I’ll come back, Harper. I’m not going to lie and say I’m giving up acting, but I can promise I won’t walk away. The two of you are part of my life now. I’m in this with you for the long haul. I’m not going anywhere.”

Highly recommended for BBW Contemporary Romance lovers.

This is the second book in the Curvy Ever After book series, it is only the first one I have read. I loved having the heroine in the story not be a size two and yet the man looked at her with love and told her how incredible she is. As a bigger person myself, it is nice to read a story that puts a plus size woman in a good light.
This was a great story that I could relate to, with childhood trauma that follows into adulthood. Lincoln and Harper came from totally different upbringings, but neither were perfect. Can they overcome their past to make a future for the family they have created?

Though this is book two of the series, this book can be read as a standalone. I was hooked from the start. There is a lot of emotion in this book and it’s very well written.

Harper and Lincoln have a lot going for them. The last thing either of them expects is Harper to get there pregnant after a weekend fling. There is a lot they both need to learn about the other. They each have their own demons to face but just maybe they can face them together. Can they fight together instead of against each other for the family they’ve each always wanted?

I really enjoyed this book! I’m going to give book one a chance as well because if it’s half as good as this book, it’s worth it!

Lincoln and Harper have an unforgettable one night stand. Complete strangers with off the charts chemistry in bed. Down the line Harper finds herself pregnant and a second chance run in with Lincoln he finds out he is going to be a father. Both want the best, and of course both want each other, but they have some demons to slay to get to that happy place. As things progress they find that they are a great team in bed and out of it, and that together there is nothing that they can’t overcome.

The One Night Stand/Surprise Pregnancy trope is truly one of my favorites. You never know how things will turn out , and you always hope for the best. This story is one of those feel good stories where Lincoln and Harper came together for a reason, and it was truly meant to be.

The title and blurb are what caught my eye with this book. I have been itching for a good surprise baby romance lately. As this was my first book by this author, I wasn’t expecting to be hooked by these characters and how involved I got in their story. Harper and Lincoln had that instant chemistry for a fun weekend with a stranger, but that weekend turned into some more 9 months later. I will definitely be going back to read book 1 in this series!

Surprise Baby For Mr. Fischer is the second book in the Curvy Ever After series by Stephanie Harrell.

This was such an enjoyable read. Harper knows what she wants. She wants to travel the world searching for antiques and collectibles for her family business, but her family thinks she needs to settle down. When she meets Lincoln on a night out she has no idea that he is set to be the next big star, she just knows that a weekend spent with him will be hard to top. She never expected to find herself pregnant.
I thought that Harper and Lincoln were such lovable characters. Lincoln helps Harper see past her insecurities. They both have some big, life-changing decisions to make now that they are having a baby. They help each other through this and have many obstacles to overcome on the way. There was so much chemistry between Lincoln and Harper right from the start, they were a great couple to read about.
This was my first time reading anything by this author, but I will be going back to read the first book in the series now.

I am a PR fan, but I loved this book! The up and coming Hollywood heart throb, Lincoln, falls hard and fast for the fiery, independent redhead, Harper. She doesn’t even recognize him, so Lincoln is certain she’s not after him for his money. After an amazing weekend together, she’s all he can think about and he cannot wait to see her again. But Harper, not wanting to get her heart broken, didn’t give him her number and he had to change his number because it was leaked to the public. Read the book to find out what happens in Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer. This is a book that you won’t be able to put down.

The chemistry that the two main characters in this book had was off the chart. From their very first meeting, you could tell the author tried to show this throughout the book. This book was slightly predictable, but still very good. I found myself wanting to hurry back to read another chapter. A very engaging book that I really enjoyed. This is my first time reading anything by Stephanie Harrell, and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Harper and Lincoln are relatable characters, and their love story is believable and interesting. Harper is a fuller-figured woman and Lincoln is a conventionally handsome movie star, and I thought the theme of this was handled really well. Harper feels like he can’t possibly be attracted to her body as much as he might a slender movie starlet’s, and this impacts some of her decisions and fears in the book. Her growth as a character involves, in part, her coming to terms with her insecurities and how she wants to move forward with Lincoln and his very public career. I appreciate the depth of the story for elements like this, rather than a simple surface-level work. I would happily check out other books by Stephanie Harrell.

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is book two in the Curvy Ever After series by Stephanie Harrell. This is a romance with a fairy tale twist. This story intrigued, from the creative and eye catching series name, to the blurb. Another exciting element was the newness of this author. I had never sampled her work. But I was ready do jump in, no questions asked. These characters were believable, endearing and entertaining. A chance meeting, an amazing weekend together and the cherry on top was a life changing surprise. Intriguing right?? It sucked me in, hook, line and sinker. Harper and Lincoln are complete opposites, but the animal attraction that exists between them is extremely arousing and sets the heart fluttering and the pulse racing. I completely devoured this story. Loved the way the author portrayed each characters. Loved learning all their little quirks and what makes them tick. Sexy and soothing to the soul. A real page turner. A fantastic escape. 5 stars.

Baby/pregnancy romance can definitely be a guilty pleasure! This book is no different! I wish I could go back and read book 1 of Stephanie Harrell’s Curvy Ever After series, but that’s just me! It’s definitely not necessary! Surprise Baby for Mr.Fischer can definitely hold its own.
Harper, the baby of seven girls in her family, meets Kade when he thinks he’s saving her from drowning. Which leads to a wonderful weekend spent together and I’m sure you can guess the outcome. What Harper doesn’t know is that Kade is his middle name and that Lincoln Erickson is a rising star in Hollywood. Harper lives under a rock with her love for antiques; she doesn’t have time to keep up with celebrities.
Lincoln never thought a wonderful weekend would leave him longing to see her again.
Heading into the holiday season this book is about the adventures ahead for Lincoln and Harper as they navigate what they feel, their impending child, and Lincoln’s fame. Harper who’s stubborn as a mule and doesn’t make it easy(also very frustrating, I wanted to jump into the story and scream at her.) Lincoln wants to give her everything and then some, but will she ever be able to handle and accept it?
I guess you’ll have to read and find out. A sweet romance set in Rhode Island is what dreams are made of!

This was a funny romance. First off, thank you for the eye candy on the front cover. Yum! Second, it was such a wonderful experience to read a romance about a curvy woman. The story caught me from the beginning with ocean mishap and just kept going from there. It felt real and like it could be happening. The flow was smooth. I loved all the characters. They felt like people you might now and relate to. Just a really great story that you find yourself chuckling through. A quick read that you should definitely pick up and put on your reading list. I am recommending it to everyone.

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is the first book in the Curvy Ever After series by Stephanie Harrell. This story is a contemporary romance with a fairytale feel. As this author is new to me, I really didn’t know what to expect from her work, but I thought it could be a fun story and clicked a copy to jump into for a couple of hours.
I found I was right; this was a fun story to read- with fully developed characters who were both interesting and endearing, I was cheering them on from the beginning.
Movie star holiday fling leads to surprise pregnancy. What happens when he finds out? Will it draw him closer, or drive him away? Is there any chance of a future together, or will fame and meddling put the brakes on any chance they might have had for a HEA? If you want to find out how this story ends, then you really should pick up a copy and read all the intriguing developments for yourself.
Sweet. Sexy. Entertaining.

This was a great 5 star read. I really enjoyed this couple’s story.
Harper helps find antiques for her family antique shop, she really would love to travel in search of treasures. She ends up having a weekend fling that will change her plans.

Lincoln is an up and coming actor who’s new role will really put him in the spotlight. While at his beach house for a break, he is surprised to see Harper, the woman he had a weekend fling with. What’s most surprising is that she is pregnant.

Can they have a HEA? Or will fate have other plans for them?

Overall I really enjoyed this story. Who doesn’t dream about meeting a hot actor and getting a HEA? The chemistry these two had was great. You get steamy scenes, LOL moments and so much more. Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer, the second Curvy Ever After book, was a wild ride. I was so enthralled and I couldn’t put it down! I didn’t read the first book but I will definitely be grabbing that up, as well as any other from the author I can find. It was exciting and the plot was so fun and easy to follow. I highly recommend it!

This was a really enjoyable read and one that I would highly recommend. I loved how the author made the characters feel so real, they were really likeable and relatable. I loved the ups and downs of this couple’s journey with everything they had to overcome – I felt really invested in their story. They had great chemistry and it felt genuine and not forced. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it certainly will not be the last I am really looking forward to reading more from her in the future.
