Knight In Peril is Book 6 in the Jorja Knight series and if you like crime suspense, danger, intrigue, secrets, lies…I definitely recommend this book. This story was hard to put down and I really enjoyed this book. I even was not sure who to trust while Jorja was investigating the disappearance of her friend, Gab.
Jorja Knight is to meet up in Istanbul with her friend, Gabriella..but something is off…Gabriella aka Gab never picks up Jorja at the airport and even at the hotel they are staying at her suitcase is there but opened….but no word from Gab. As hours tick by…Jorja knows something is truly wrong. Enter her PI skills, Jorja does what she does best and tries to investigate what happened to her friend. Questions with no answers….suspects….what happened to Gab and will Jorja be able to find out before it is to late???
This is a great suspense story I highly recommend this book!

This book is the sixth book in the series but can be read as a standalone. It is just as good as the other books and is exactly what I have come to expect from this series and this author. I reconnected with the main character straight away and I loved how the book seemed to throw you straight back into it. The story was full of suspense and took the readers on a thrilling chase around a city most would be unfamiliar with. At times it had me on the edge of my seat as to how things would work out. I was fully engaged with it from the moment I started reading. This is a great story and I am looking forward to whatever comes next.

Knight in Peril by Alice Bienia is the 6th book in the Jorja Knight Private Investigator Mystery. This book is part of a series, but can definitely be read as a standalone, even though I doubt you will want to! I am going to go back and read the previous books in the series just to get the full idea of who Jorja Knight is and her back story. Jorja Knight is a Private Investigator from Canada who is supposed to meet her friend Gabriella Rizzo in Istanbul, Turkey for a little bit of R&R, and soon finds out that she is going to have to use her investigative skills to solve a mystery involving her friend. When Jorja arrives to Istanbul, she finds it odd that her friend hasn’t showed up to meet her at the airport as planned, but then thinks that maybe messages were crossed and goes to their hotel to check in. When Jorja arrives, she quickly finds that Gabs things are in the room, but Gabs is not! Jorja starts to worry especially when Gabs doesn’t show up the next day, Jorja gets the feeling that something is very wrong, and decides to report her missing to the police who do not take Jorja’s concerns seriously. Jorja knows that she has no jurisdiction in Istanbul to look for Gab, but she knows that something is very wrong, and she can’t just sit by and hope for the best. That is when Jorja decides to take things into her own hands and starts investigating what possibly could have happened to Gabs. I have read a few books from this author and she always knows how to surprise her readers. This is the sixth book of the amazing fateful justice series. This book could be read as a stand alone but those are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited to read this book that I stopped everything and started to read. It only took me a little over a day to devour this amazing story.
Ruby Drake is ready for a fresh start so she leaves the city life. She now lives in the country where her past can’t find her. Ruby is getting settled into her new life until she sees a handsome cowboy bleeding on her porch. She acts right away and gets him better. Ruby is very intrigued by Hayden. They get to know each other and the sparks start to fly. Ruby then feels like her ghosts are coming back. Will Hayden help her or will he cause her even more trouble?

I enjoyed the first book in this series but this one was phenomenal!! I hard a very hard time putting this one down to go to work for a few hours!! There are twists and turns, love and hate relationships, friends and foes, you just never know what the next page will bring.

This is such a good story and it can be read as a standalone but I always recommend reading them in order to better understand everything. Its the continuing story of Jorja Knight Private Investigator who is from Canada and she is supposed to be meeting her friend, Gabriella in Instanbul for a vacation. When Gabriella doesn’t show up at the airport Gabriella thinks its odd but thinks maybe she got busy. When she gets to Gabriella’s her stuff is there but its been gone thru. Shadowed Agenda: An Enemies to Lovers Action-Packed Romantic Suspense Thriller (Shadow Defense Security Series) by Mavery Ellscott. This is such a good series and I loved this book. Its the story of Regan who is a romance author and currently on her latest tour to promote her latest book. She usually loves tours but this one is different, she’s on tour with her sworn enemy Pavlo who was invited to promote his new thriller. Regan is a single mom who loves her job and child and will do anything to protect her child. Pavlo was excited at first to do the tour but when he finds out his least favorite author will be with him. He just tries to keep his distance and do his own thing until Regan and her daughter become the target of danger. Pavlo will do whatever it takes to keep them safe and as they spend more time together they begin to see they actually have a very deep chemistry. This is a great slow burn, enemies to lovers book.
This is a suspenseful novel where Jorga has to find her best friend that has gone missing. This book kept me guessing and wanting to read more. Had a hard time putting it down. Highly recommend!

They can be read as standalones but are all related and intertwined. If you like a little danger in your romance, this is the one for you.
Ruby & Hayden, Hayden’s family, the small rural town, the Wyoming setting, it’s all fantastic.
I’m not going to give you spoilers, you’ll have to read it on your own. But whether you’re into mystery, thriller, action or romance, you’ll enjoy this book.

Regan is a famous author in this story. While she is independent as well as a single mother. Her priority is her daughter followed by her writing. Pavlo is Regan’s bodyguard. His job is to keep Regan and her daughter safe. However Regan and Pavlo can’t stand to be around each other. At the beginning of this past paced romantic thriller. Will these two come around and survive this story? The story could be a standalone, but I recommend you read this series in its entirety. As you will follow along and not end up like me. As I must go back and read book 1. This author gets big praise from me, her story has it all. Romance, thriller, intrigue, deceit as well as a true page turner. Both of her characters are perfect for their parts. This is a deserved five star read.
After reading the previous book, I couldn’t wait to read this book. And I am so glad I did, it was even better than the first one. I connected with the story straight away and loved the chemistry between the main characters. Neither wanted to spend time with the other but circumstances throw them together. I loved watching their relationship develop as the story went on. The storyline was exciting and fast paced. It is action packed from start to finish and it seemed to take no time to read it. This book is a brilliant addition to the series and one I thoroughly enjoyed.
This story is a quick, enjoyable read. While part of a series, I found it easy to read as a standalone. Hayden and Ruby each have their own reasons for being how they are; however, being stuck together during a storm might just start them down a new path. Could it lead to their own hea? I would recommend this book if you’re looking for an easy read.

This is an action-packed, suspenseful romance! I was impressed by this author and story—especially with how much was packed in to a shorter page count. The author really developed the two main characters fairly well. The author also gave depth to the story and it reads at a quick pace starting with action from the get go and through the developing, steamy romance between Ruby and Hayden and the suspense of lurking danger. This was a somewhat predictable, but entertaining story that kept my attention throughout. Though it is part of a series, it is easily read as a standalone. If you’re looking for a page-turning suspenseful romance, this is for you!

So.. I’d settle on a 3.5 for Renewed by Sara Vinduska. I seem to have a bad habit of starting right smack dab in the middle of a series but even with this being the 6th book I didn’t feel lost or confused and I enjoyed it. Hayden, a Wyoming rancher, is shot by a stranger while doing rounds of his property, but luckily he thinks his horse knows the way home. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t, but his horse does take him Ruby, whose hiding out with her own set of emotions, fears, and sadness, but she starts to take care of him. I do love a good trope, in Renewed it’s forced proximity, as much as the next girl but I have to agree with some other reviewers that the novel felt a little unrealistic. It’s a quick read, full of suspense, and steam.

This book is my introduction to Ms. Vinduska’s books and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I will find a way to go back and read the first books in the future. While a part of a series it is a standalone, but it doesn’t hurt to learn the other people and their story.
Hayden is a rancher and seems to have been since birth. Now taking care of the property he grew on is exactly what he wants with his life until he is shot. His life goes from normal to being flipped upside down.
Ruby is a hero and saves Hayden after he shows up unexpectedly. She goes through so much in a short time, but it doesn’t do anything but make her stronger.
This was a quick read, but no corners were cut in the story at all. I have added Ms. Vinduska’s name to my list of authors to keep an eye out for new releases and I look forward to reading more.

Renewed by Sarah Vinduska is book six in the Faithful Justice series. This is the first and only book I have read in the series and I’ve see that each can be read as a standalone. I’m sure there were things I would have picked up on had I have read the other stories but I didn’t feel lost. I will say the story was cute but moved fast in the sense that it seemed so crazy. I also wasn’t a fan of the multiple perspectives. Not that it was confusing but there were more than just Hayden and Ruby which I didn’t find necessary to the story except to set another one up. Though… I am now interested in those stories, so well played! Ruby is running from her past and although she’s taken a lot of precautions, it catches up to her pretty quickly. Hayden is a rancher who needs help but then feels obligated to save her. The story was good. I enjoyed it and it had enough to keep my interest throughout. A good first read for me by this author.

I picked up this book without realizing that it was in a series, but I still enjoyed it with very little confusion. I plan on picking up the previous books now so I can get more background. This story starts off with danger and suspense, so I knew I was in for a wild ride! Ruby and Hayden have such amazing chemistry that really leaps off the pages and make you root for them the whole way. The author created such an easy-to-read book that was difficult to take breaks from, and it is full of romance, steamy scenes, danger, and suspense throughout. I’m on my way to read the rest of the series and highly recommend picking this one up before you miss out!
Good story with a lot going on. I did not love it as much as book 1 in the series but it is still enjoyable. I just feel the unknown of a few things was too vague to actually care about it too much which led to me not being completely invested in the character. I did like the interaction between the two main characters. Why they were that way with each other I wasn’t completely sure. Each one has a few secrets and as they are forced together they slowly come out. I liked the action in here….and there is a lot! As for secondary characters the future story between Drake and Finlay had me awaiting with bated breath.
An enjoyable and entertaining romantic suspense which kept me hooked throughout. Set in wild Wyoming, the author does a great job of bringing the setting vividly to life through the descriptive narrative. It’s here that confirmed bachelor, cowboy Hayden Goddard runs his family’s ranch, and where he is shot and left for dead. He wakes up to find that his life has been saved by Ruby Drake, who is on the run from her past and has moved to the countryside for a fresh start. When Ruby’s past catches up with her Hayden is determined to protect the women who saved his life, and who he’s falling in love with. I loved how the relationship between Ruby and Hayden developed and their spicy chemistry sizzled off the page. This was a cowboy romance with plenty of drama and action, as well as suspense and the storyline had me gripped.

This is the 6th book in the Fateful Justice Series. These books can be read as a standalone however I will be heading back to read the rest as I really enjoyed this story.
This is a cowboy romance but it is so much more, with danger, stalkers, an ex determined to get his woman back and a big hearted cowboy who is determined to protect her at all costs.
When Hayden gets shot he realises he needs to do something fast else he risks dying out in the cold. Knowing he won’t reach his own property he heads to the closest property around. When he arrives he wakes to see a woman. He takes her breath away. Who is she and what is her story.
Ruby has taken time in this cabin to escape her ex. Her ex is a dangerous man who will stop at nothing to get her. When she finds a man on the porch with a gunshot wound she knows she has to help, so she takes him in and nurses him back to health. Ruby saved Hayden’s life and as their connection grows stronger he vows to protect her. When Ruby’s ex returns, Hayden knows he needs to do all he can to stop her ex getting close to her and protect her from all danger but why does he feel this need? He doesn’t do relationships so why does the thought of losing Ruby terrify him so much.
As the full picture of Ruby’s past finally comes to light Hayden knows he will protect her no matter the danger.
This is a really sweet captivating romance which is fast paced with loads of twist and turns. I just couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with both Hayden and Ruby and they are so perfect for each other.
Shadowed Agenda by Mavery Ellscott is the second book to the Shadow Defense Security series. Full of suspense, romantic tension, and lots of plot twists, this is a strong story for a second book and definitely left me ready for more! I loved the characters. Regan and Pavlo are strong character leads and I adored them both. Regan is very headstrong but also a loving single mother that is willing to do whatever she thinks she has to to keep her daughter safe. Pavlo is a former Navy Seal and a member of the secretive group known as Shadow Defense Security. They are both authors on a book tour and due to some history between them, they try to keep their distance. But when the book tour takes a terrifying turn for Regan, Pavlo steps up and tries to help keep Regan safe as well as get to the bottom of threats and attacks being made against her. The tension between them grows as they spend more time together. But Regan doesn’t want Pavlo involved in this growing threat, and Pavlo doesn’t think he can be more than an occasional one night stand. The story had me hooked and turning the pages as quickly as I could, devouring every word until the end! I highly recommend for romantic suspense lovers. I look forward to more from this author.
This is the sixth book of the series. Hayden was a certified bachelor, he wound up dying on Ruby’s porch. She heals him back to health. Ruby has some secrets that she is running from. When they catch up with her she turns to Hayden for help. Hayden owes her his life, but is it enough to protect her?
This is my first read by this author. This book can easily be read as a stand alone but I’m going to be going back and reading the previous ones in this series.
He’s a very good looking cowboy and she’s running from her past. When Hayden shows up on Ruby’s doorstep, he’s been shot and left for dead. It’s up to Ruby to save his life and then he, in turn, helps to save hers.
This was a suspenseful read full of romance and adventure. There were times the story got a little choppy but overall, a very good read with a happy ending!
