Cece and Evan are battling the odds, will they make it? Can optimism break down CeCe’s walls? This book was such a sweet and easy to read book! I loved every second of it and just found it to be such a feel good read. The ending was what I hoped and it was just so well written. The dynamic between the two MCs was off the charts and I devoured the book before I even knew what happened! An awesome read that flowed so well!

I really have enjoyed the Buckeye Falls books so far. This was a cute, quick read for me. I really like this genre especially when baking or cooking is involved in the plot. I thought that Cece was a great character and her chemistry with Evan was well designed. I look forward to more books in the series.

Libby Kay has taken us back to Buckeye Falls, to the lives of CeCe and Evan. Both work at Max’s diner, and while they both had a great time together at a winter festival, they both hide their true feelings from each other. CeCe doesn’t see herself romantically linked to Evan, he’s younger and she’s nearing the dreaded 3-0. Evan tries to tell her that he is not that much younger and age doesn’t matter. As he navigates his way, patiently; they begin to spend time together outside of work. Of course, what Evan doesn’t know is that CeCe has another secret and she is not entirely sure she should open up to Evan. These characters are wonderfully written, this story is filled with friendship, admiration, love, and a fighting spirit. CeCe and Evan’s story kept my interest from beginning to end.

I was so excited to pick up the second book in this series and it didn’t disappoint! I fell in love with CeCe and Evan straight away – they were both such relatable and down to earth characters, very much so like the characters in book 1. CeCe was hurt by what had happened in her past so think it’s perfectly acceptable that she is so independent and has her walls up to try and protect herself from being hurt again. I knew as soon as CeCe and Evan met he would be the one to heal her and show her how lovely a relationship can be, he was such a true gentleman and I just adored him! I also loved the community feel in this book, all of the characters both main and secondary were lovely! This really was a beautiful story, well written and with amazing characters. I would highly recommend it and I can’t wait for more from this author!!

4.7/5 Stars Buckeye Falls is the cutest little place! This book is so cute and gives me all the feels. I adored the first one and I adore this one. I love series that are about the same group of people but with a different main character. It’s so well written and so good. I can’t wait to read about Natalie in the next book!

CeCe is having a hard time since the Christmas Jubilee because she is starting to have feeling towards Evan. She doesn’t want to have feelings for him since they work together at the diner, but she knows there is something different about him. There is also a big hurdle coming to Buckeye Falls that has CeCe questioning whether to stay or run. Her ex boyfriend, Eric, is coming to Buckeye Falls for a food truck competition. What could possibly go wrong?

5 Stars Falling for You (Buckeye Falls Book 2) by Libby Kay
Falling for You is the second book in the Buckeye Falls Series and is a Contemporary Romance that I pretty much devoured in one sitting. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book as well if you haven’t already. This is a sweet romance that had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. This is CeCe and Evans story. He’s had a crush on her for a while and he throws out suttle little hints he wants more but she has locked her heart up from past times of being hurt. With a celebrity chef and cooking competition coming to town CeCe’s time is up no more running from her past Can Evan steal her heart and make her see she can love again? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Falling Home is the second book in the Buckeye Falls series by Libby Kay. This is a charming contemporary romance with a small-town setting, chemistry, emotion, painful pasts, secret-crushes, co-worker/workplace romance, touching details, and taking a chance on love. Add in a cooking competition, and some sparks, and things take a sweet and heart-warming turn. A wonderful addition to the series. Bring on Book #3! Happy Reading…

Falling for You was the perfect book 2 in this series. Yes I say series, however it works perfectly fine as a standalone novel. This author knows how to hook the audience reading this particular genre. And that makes me a huge fan! CeCe is an independently strong woman who has survived a lot of adversity in life. Especially that of her ex-boyfriend who tried to destroy her life and career because she left him. Why’d she’d leave him? Well that’s an answer you’re going to have to read to find out. Evan sees CeCe and she’s everything he wants. But at the same time he knows it won’t be easy. The walls she’s erected to protect herself and her heart are almost impenetrable, like i said almost. As he gradually chips away he realizes he doesn’t want to let go. But how does she feel about that? So many questions and so few answers. Well maybe if you check this book out you will get all the answers. The character growth was written beautifully, especially for CeCe. Watching it unfold made me happy. When an author writes a strong female character, I will always be on board! Now it’s time for book 3! I need more… lol

This is the third book that I’ve read by this author. I really enjoy her writing style. It’s sweet but realistic. Nothing raunchy. The characters are well developed and relatable. Im so happy Evan got his girl. He’s literally the perfect gentleman and he deserves happiness. I cannot wait for the next book.

I was so excited to get to read Falling for You, the second book in the Buckeye Falls series, and it did not disappoint! This can definitely be read as a standalone story, but I would absolutely recommend reading book 1 Falling Home as both CeCe and Evan are in book 1. Evan is just such a perfect rom com book boyfriend; he is sexy, smart, sweet, caring and just overall a wonderful guy. CeCe was such a great character and her character’s growth was so incredible to see. I loved getting to meet Evan’s family and I loved how CeCe handled meeting them all! It was wonderful getting to see Max and Ginny again as well. I just love Natalie’s character and it looks like she will be getting her own story in book 3! Overall it’s a well written story, and I can’t wait to see what will happen next in Buckeye Falls.

CeCe LaRue has her career in hand but is feeling anxious when she finds out her ex is coming to town for a cooking competition. Dealing with the potential nightmare she is intent to ignore Evan Lawson, her co-worker. Evan is sweet, attentive and not a line she wants to cross. CeCe has been burned badly before though and doesn’t want the heartache.
Evan has been slowly wooing CeCe even if she didn’t realize it. When he decides to put his cards on the table will she give him a chance or hide what she is feeling?
Second in the Buckeye Falls series. I really liked Evan, he has a family dynamic I was very surprised about. I really enjoyed this couple and seeing them go from friends to more. Definitely a series to keep your eyes on.

Falling for You is the second book in the Buckeye Falls series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone if you don’t mind getting a few spoilers for Falling Home! It follows CeCe and Evan who have both ended up working at the same diner. They have feelings for each other, but CeCe has a rule against dating coworkers. This is an enjoyable book for anyone who enjoys a culinary romance! Evan is such a sweet character – I love all the things he does to stay close with his sisters, who are themselves great characters, particularly Mallory! It’s also an uplifting story, with CeCe learning to face the past she has been running from and overcome the pain she still carries. It’s great seeing how her community are there for her when things are tough. This book gets five stars from me! A great comfort read. I would recommend keeping snacks in reach as the descriptions of food in this will definitely make you hungry…

Libby Kay is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. Her stories and the characters she writes are always amazing. The first book to this series was great because I simply adored Max & Ginny. so I knew this one would be too. NOW I LOVE EVAN & CECE! So so much. But Cece’s past is coming to haunt her…can her and Evan make it? If you want a great soft romance, this is for you. This is a book I easily see myself doing a re read of. I also hope Libby writes more for this series!

In the story, Falling Home, we follow Ginny and her life and love. I didn’t read the Buckeye Falls series in order so I knew a bit about Ginny already from book two. This didn’t deter me from reading Falling Home since it was just Ginny’s life story and reminding love. It was nice to see another person in the series’ story come to life. I definitely recommend the Buckeye Falls series.

I love little stories that show small town life with big dreams. That is exactly what Libby Kay did with the story Falling For You. CeCe has a past that brought her to Buckeye Falls, where she has made a great life but she is missing love. Is Evan gonna be the missing piece in her life or will her past creep up on her and ruin everything. Falling For You is realistic in the sense of things that could be happening in the world that we just don’t know about. Perfectly wrote fiction with big dreams and realistic life.

This is the second book in the Buckeye Falls Series. I have read the first book, but this one definitely functions as a stand alone. I am definitely a sucker for a good small town novel, especially a small town romance. This book and all of the Buckeye Falls Series delivers on the quintessential good vibes of a small town romance. I love all of the characters and truly wish that I lived in Buckeye Falls. In this one, we focus on CeCe and we see how her past has shaped her future. She wound up in Buckeye Falls to escape her past. Evan is a sweet, patient soul. He is also the optimist that CeCe needs. This is the sweetest romance that I definitely recommend!

This second book in the Buckeye Falls series definitely hit the spot! It was such a sweet romance and I loved all of the characters. This time you get to read CeCe’s story. Learning more about her past you see why she keeps her distance. She came to Buckeye Falls to disappear and escape her past. Then Evan smiles his way into her heart with his sweet optimism. Both of them have things in their past that make them question themselves and the paths they are on. CeCe is strong willed, and Evan may just be the patient heart she needs. This story can definitely be read as a stand-alone but why miss out on a sweet romance in book one! I am already looking forward to book three!

I loved returning to Buckeye Falls and reading the story of CeCe and Evan. This author has created a gorgeous town filled with wonderful characters that I really hope I get to read about over and over again. CeCe is very much shaped by moments of her past and even though her attraction to Evan is strong she is very hesitant to break her no dating co workers rule! Meanwhile Evan is being the perfect friend all while wanting so much more! Their story is heartfelt, wonderful and should not be missed! I can’t wait to go back to Buckeye Falls to see what is in store next!

When the hottest and sweetest guy in town is crushing on you, what is a girl to do? CeCe is an amazing and grumpy pastry chef at the Buckeye Falls diner. Well loved by the townspeople for her mouthwatering creations. And then there is Evan – sweet, optimistic, full of sunshine and big feelings for CeCe. He is learning the art of cooking with admiration in his heart and love hearts in his eyes. While they are navigating what they are to each other – enter a food truck competition that has CeCe in a state. This competition could mean so much to the diner as a business and CeCe’s hesitation comes from a place of broken hearts, her ex is the famous chef that is running the competition. Will CeCe and Evan find each other through the road blocks that keep popping up?
This was so sweet and heartwarming! The little town is filled with kindness and a dash of small town gossip. This story of CeCe and Evan’s friendship/ relationship is the cutest. The hesitation and the bravery between CeCe and Evan was captured with such heart and soul. I had already fallen in love with Buckeye Falls and its people during the previous book “Falling Home”, this just had me falling harder. I really enjoyed Evan’s relationship with his sister Malory – it really felt like a ride or die! And the “friends family” of the diner staff was uplifting and really embraced the true meaning of family.
Libby Kay is fast becoming a favourite author of mine. I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and most certainly recommend romance readers give their heart to the Buckeye Falls crew! I cannot wait for the next adventure!

CeCe has a big life rule born of past heartache – don’t date coworkers. Evan is slightly younger and far more willing to risk what he’s sure feels right. Together they have the chance at something amazing if they can just figure out ways around their obstacles. With the past coming back to haunt CeCe, this young relationship will need all the support that Buckeye Falls has to offer.
Falling for You by Libby Kay is the second book in her Buckeye Falls series. This book brings back previous characters but focuses on CeCe and Evan. Though we got glimpses of their characters in Falling home, now we get to see how their story unfolds. This is another winner if you love a soft romance with wonderful characters.

Oh man, CeCe and Evan’s story is as sweet and touching as Ginny and Max’s. We got a sneak peek at them in Falling Home. I loved this story. A blast from the past heartbreak comes at CeCe and Evan is there to help. The question is, will she let him. The story is delightfully touching and heartwarming. These two have chemistry that you feel sparking through the whole book. The characters are delightful. Max and Ginny, Natalie and Evan’s family are entertaining. Such fun characters. Some are not, they are putz, but they play a role. This a beautiful story that adds to the romance that one can find in Buckeye Falls. I hope this author will share more Buckeye love with us.

Sparks fly in this small town as everyone’s favorite gruff pastry chef finally gives the sweetest guy in town a chance.
CeCe LaRue knows what she wants in life, and in the kitchen, and that’s control. She doesn’t have time for distractions—from her past or present. But that doesn’t mean a certain bright-eyed coworker hasn’t captured her heart.
Evan Lawson is a chronic optimist, and he brings his sunny disposition to everything he does, especially his job at the diner. It’s obvious why he loves his job so much, and it has everything to do with CeCe. He’s been crushing on her for a while, but he’s biding his time. Much like the perfect recipe, love cannot be rushed.
When a major food competition comes to town, Evan is thrilled at the prospect of competing. Despite her stellar culinary skills, CeCe is hesitant to participate. The celebrity chef host is more than a pretty face; he’s the painful past she’s been outrunning for years.
Can CeCe open herself up to the prospect of love and give Evan a chance? Can Evan’s optimism keep them both afloat?

Just loving the cover and even more so once I got lost in between the pages ❣️📕
Brad , Mary and Jim were school friends and Brad had a soft spot for Mary but before he gets the chance to admit how he feels Jim swoops in and Mary becomes his girl . Brad kept tabs on them and I don’t think he ever let her go ….
Brad has to head home for his sisters wedding and while he’s there he’ll check in on his new project , he’s in construction and he’s building a tiny home community with a shared garden that’s eco friendly and green friendly so other than surviving the weekend he’s got that to keep him busy
As I said I don’t think Brad every really let Mary go and he’s always held a candle for her and that’s really evident when their paths cross again and all he wants to do is protect her , rekindle what they had and let it blossom into something more oh and make sure other men leave her alone 😂🙈🥰
Mary and Jim’s break up is till a little fresh so I get that Mary is a little hesitant or careful but Brad works his magic in so many different ways , I even fell I. Love with him and I’ve been happily married for 21 years !!!! 😂❣️
I just loved being part of this journey and it was good for the soul to catch up with old friends and family and these people truly are friends that become family and you just want to be apart of it all ! These are people you’ll go to war for ❣️

This author is talented in more ways than one. not only does she have a way with words, but those words really hit you deep down, no matter what is going on in your personal life, you’re bound to fall in love with the characters that run deep in these pages. The world building itself is amazing, but I am never let down by her ability to draw you in and spit you out at the end, leaving you wanting to reread everything she brings to the table.
These characters are certainly ones that we have all read of before, that second chance love that everyone, or at least, myself, longs for day after day, year after year. The one that got away, the one you know that you would do anything you could to have back in your grasp. Maybe you don’t realize it, maybe they don’t but eventually, time heals all wounds. Dive into this love story, and I’m sure you will understand what I am talking about! Highly recommend.

Brad and Mary grew up together and had secret crushes on one another in high school, but never got together. Brad moved away so he didn’t have to watch her be with someone else and used his time to keep hustling and growing his own business.
When he travels back home a decade later for an old friends wedding, a local cupid makes sure Mary and Brad end up running into each other, and nudges in all the right places to coax conversation about past misunderstandings. What will come of clearing the air?
Mary is down to earth, believable, likable. Brad is hardworking, a bit stubborn, also likable. A little dreamy, sweet. Can take a little time to get into it and get the feel for the presentation. Enjoyable world building. Second book in the series but easily standalone.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Brad left his hometown right after graduation, unable to stay knowing Mary had chosen his friend Jim before he could confess his feelings to her. He was back in town for her sister’s wedding . Mary’s friend matches up her and Brad . You have to read the whole story to see what happens next . I can’t wait to read more from this author.
This is Mary and Brad’s story- we met these characters previously in Book One. They have been friends since they were children with many secret feelings which were never told. Hearts were broken and it seemed as though things were lost forever. Life has a way of changing and they are reunited through fate. Old feelings are stirred up yet again but will the past hinder a future relationship? A fantastic read.
