This book was a good one from an author i will defidently have to read more of! It was well written and i was pulled in from the very beginning. The characters are what made this story awesome. I really liked Manuela. All she wanted was to be a normal girl with a normal life and it was exactly the opposite. Revenge, Anger, Heartache, Love, and Mates. This story has so many awesome elements that made my heart happy and even sad. Manuela goes through alot but she is stronger because of it and that’s why i liked her so much! I would recommend this to anyone that likes a good paranormal story! I can’t wait to get my hands on more! Happy Reading!

Book has a trigger warning. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. It’s the third book in The Protectors Series. This was a phenomenal read and I will be reading the next. Richardson has a way of bringing these characters to life.
Manuela, a prisoner, doesn’t think she’ll survive the day. Her captors let her loose so they can hunt her down. Little does she know that things are going to change for her. Writing has been her passion since a very early age when her mum encouraged her to use her imagination. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of her mum, who was also her best friend, in 2009 that she started to take it seriously. Her mother’s wish was to see her published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book she publishes is dedicated to her.

Sweet Salvation is the third book in The Protectors Series by Toya Richardson. This is my first book by Toya Richardson so I didn’t know if I would understand some parts, since I was jumping in to book three in the series. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and had no problems understanding the storyline. However, the book was so well written I will be going back to read the first two books. This Shifter Romance had me hooked from the very first page and I read it in one sitting. It is full of action, suspense and romance. I have found over the past three or four months that I Love Shifter books and have been reading more and more of them. Manuela and Josh are strong characters that are relatable. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are a fan of paranormal romance. I look forward to going back and reading the first two books in the series.

Sweet Salvation is book three in Richardson’s, paranormal romance series, ‘The Protectors’, but can be read as a standalone story, however some of the characters cross over and the backstory continues throughout the series. Manuela wants a normal life, a human life but having left the safety of her Protectors community her dream turns into a nightmare and she is hunted and used for sport. Manuela is then unexpectedly rescued by her mate, Josh. Josh loves living life within Elias Crane’s Protectors community hoping to find peace following the brutal deaths of his family. When he travels to a Protectors community in Spain, he didn’t expect to discovers his mate. However his mate has been brutalised and is broken. Manuela does not believe that Josh could ever want her especially having used their telepathic bond to show him what has been done to her. Manuela wants revenge but this could have repercussions throughout all the Supernat communities and Josh must stop Manuela before he looses her for good. This was a gripping paranormal romance which had me hooked from the start. The main characters in this story were Manuela and Josh and they were great characters and I felt I went on an emotional rollercoaster along with them. I felt fully immersed in the Supernat communities, which really came alive by the authors detailed world building. This was an exciting read which moved along at a fast pace and was full of drama and suspense. I look forward to reading the previous books in this series and any future ones.

Sweet Salvation. By Toya Richardson. So I started on book 3, I’m now going to have to read the first two books. Wow what can I say, well it is dark, definitely dark. I think Toya is a wonderful author, I was almost in tears at the beginning of the book, the way she described Manuelas torments was both gripping a harrowing. I loved how this story progressed and the relationship between Manuela and Josh was heartwarming. A great read and I can’t wait to get stuck into the first two.

Sweet Salvation is the third book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. This is a wonderfully written story that will have your emotions going all over the place. At times my heart hurt for Manuela and the things she had been through and anger because of those things. Parts of this story may be a trigger for some but if you push through it ,its worth it. I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down till the end. Manuela finds herself in a horrible nightmare, all she wanted was a normal human life . But what she finds herself in is brutal and she wants revenge . Will her mate be able to rescue her? Josh and Manuela are great characters as well as the other’s, their very well developed and connectable. I felt like I was right there with them. I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author. I highly recommend this Book.

This is by far one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read. It’s a shifter romance series with an edge and plenty of action. I wasn’t the least disappointed when I read this. I loved it from start to finish because it didn’t disappoint. This book is filled with unpredictable action and romance like no other book I’ve read before. I don’t wanna ruin the premise so here goes nothing: Manuala just wants to live an ordinary life as a human but when she leaves a life of protection her dream life is turned into a nightmare. Her companion comes to her rescue just as she’s being devoured by the life that has befallen her. Manuala’s body has been through the ringer and she doesn’t expect her companion to want her after the wear and tear. Inside the Elias Crane Protectors community, Josh lives. After he’s been through his deal of emotional pain, he hopes for peace until he is reunited with his companion in Spain at a Protectors community: Shattered and abused. Through a psychic bond, they share their past memories with one another. When Manuala seeks vengeance, she sends tremors through the Supernat communities. I have never read anything from Toya Richardson and so this book was a new and uncharted experience for me that I was really excited to embark on when I read the blurb for Sweet Salvation. I do wish that I had read a bit more about the series and started with book one as this is the third in the series. It can be read as a stand alone novel but I do feel as if I may have missed some key points that would have played into my enjoyment of Sweet Salvation. I am intrigued enough that I do plan to go back and start the series from the beginning. This book brings a punch of adventure and suspense along with the romance and underlying relationships among the characters. The story was pretty well constructed and flowed well for me only leaving me curious to find out what will ensue in future novels. I loved how this book kept me on the edge of my seat and didn’t overwhelm me with details like some fantasy and shifter novels tend to do to me. I will definitely be around to see what else is available and to come from Toya Richardson soon!

Wow, what a read! From the minute I picked up this book I was cast into a world of supernatural, danger, drama, anger, pain, suspense, traumatic scenes (which was handled with care) emotion that even from this side really got me every time.
This author has an incredible writing style, you find your self unable to put this read down until the very end! I absolutely loved the characters each of them brought something else to the read but together they had something that was so special, you could help but love the two seeing them grow and their connection develop even deeper, and being exactly what each other needed at the right time! These characters have had a rough time beyond thought but still remain strong!
I loved reading this book, and can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of this series, but I highly recommend this book!

Sweet Salvation (The Protectors Series Book 3) by Toya Richardson is a great paranormal romance story. It is a bit of an emotive read and has something for everyone including shifters and drama, danger and revenge, suspense and action. Nothing like a true mate and witches and truly evil to get the pages turning. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone but there were definite times where I thought I needed to go back and find out how this situation occurred. This sweet but sorrowful paranormal tale is worth the read and I will be going back to read from the beginning.

Toya Richardson is a new author to me. Sweet Salvation is a great introduction to her writing story. Her story has a fast pace plot line. The details are abundant which makes it easy to paint a picture in your mind. Her characters make the story come to life. I found myself lost within the pages. Manuela craves a human life. She leaves the Protectors community to live among the humans. She finds out that was not a good idea. Will Manuela navigate in the human world or will be her undoing? I highly recommend this book.

Sweet Salvation by Toya Richardson a four-star read you will find hope in. This is number three in the Protectors series and it could be read as stand-alone as I read it that way not realising it was number three in the series but I will be going back to pick the other up as I do wonder if I would have enjoyed it more if I had read them in order. This is an adventure that will keep you hooked, there is something popping up every other page, the anticipation is just kept at a great level and the romance brings a nice softness to the story. Overall I was impressed with the story, just felt like it missed a couple of little bits.

Sweet Salvation (The Protectors Series Book 3) by Toya Richardson was a wonderful read. The author opens up the story with an emotional and gripping scene. It’s as if I could feel the pain and horror Manuela was experiencing in the hands of her captors. I loved how quickly Josh felt their bond snap into place as he looked at a picture of her. He was her hero and he also had a soft side. I loved the fact that he let his emotions show but not overwhelm him. He and Manuela were a perfect pair and both overcame major tragedies. I was amazed at their strength, connection, love, and courage. They truly made this story for me. I highly recommend it. It was an excellent shifter romance.

This is a highly emotional story. While there is an element of danger mostly the story revolves around Manuela and Josh. What trials they have been through before they come together. Then the danger is lurking and growing stronger. Will Manuela be strong enough?
I liked this story to a point. Manuela was abused sexually, physically and mentally. We learn about what happened through flashbacks. Four months after being rescued she is mated and scared of the words he uses while they are mating. But then she asks him to tie her up and live out a fantasy? She thinks that might be better? That was just too much for me to believe. Just my personal opinion.
This is my first book by this author. It is the third in a series and we do meet up with characters from precious books. I liked the story up to a point then struggled to get through the rest.

Richardson is a new author to me but the synopsis of the book grabbed me immediately (the beautiful cover definitely didn’t hurt either!). I found the story and characters to be beautifully developed. This was a book I truly enjoyed beginning to end and found myself not wanting it to end. Just extremely well written. Sweet Salvation is the third book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. As Ms. Richardson is a new to me author, I really didn’t know what to expect from her story- but the blurb intrigued me enough to want to one click a copy and explore it. This is a great paranormal romance, with shifters, fated mates, drama, danger, suspense, trauma, action, revenge, and emotion. Josh could never have imagined that a trip to Spain to visit a supernatural community would turn into such a high-stakes adventure. The last thing he expected was to connect with his fated mate. But there is much more to the story and situation than first appears, and much hanging in the balance. What will the future hold for Josh and Manuela? This is well worth the read to find out. I came into this series at the wrong end- as this is the third book. It could be read as a standalone, as I discovered- but having said that there were a few occasions where I felt that knowing what happened in those previous books might have given me more insight, and background information to what was happening here. So, I will definitely be going back to read the previous books to see if I am right. If you love a great paranormal story with action, adventure, suspense, and a wonderful romance- then this is definitely the book for you! Looking forward to the rest of the series now!

Sweet Salvation by Toya Richardson is the third book in the Protectors Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although I can see how it would be beneficial to read them in order. This was an interesting book to read. It was well written and developed well. Although it is a typical story of mates the story itself is much more unique than that. The characters were what drew me into this book. It felt like they went through so much. They were connected with each other and me and the reader. This is a new author to me but I definitely enjoyed her writing. Her writing style was one that was easy reading. This was a great introduction to this author and I will certainly look into more of her work.

I loved reading the story Sweet Salvation (The Protectors Series Book 3) by Toya Richardson. Once I started it, I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. It is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time. I loved reading about the characters of Manuela and Josh. Manuela is a young woman whose life has turned into a nightmare. She has been captured as well as badly treated. She finds herself rescued by her mate, Josh. She also feels that no one would want her after what she has been through. Josh is surprised to find his mate when he rescues Manuela. He can’t help but feel the bond between them. She wants revenge, even if those actions put her in danger and effects those around her. Can Josh reach her in time? Read this book to find out. This story is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters, experiencing what they did. I grew to care about Manuela and Josh with every chapter that I read. There are also many other characters that I loved reading about. They are supportive of Manuela and Josh. There are romantic moments as well as times when I wondered what was going to happen next. The book is entertaining and hard to put down. It is a story that I would highly recommend reading.

Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of her mum, who was also her best friend, in 2009 that she started to take it seriously. Her mother’s wish was to see her published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book she publishes is dedicated to her.
When not writing, or reading, her main hobbies are; cinema, theatre, live bands, gardening, keeping fit, travelling, Formula One racing, darts and spending time with friends.
