A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts, Book Three) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher – Review by Tehreem Tahir

This was such a cute read! I really liked the male role in this novel! I think normally writers are lead to believe women want to read about a rugged, rude and dominant male but I enjoyed how he was so secure with himself but was patient with her! Would definitely recommend!

I also really enjoyed the princess and the pauper take it had and how we’re so consumed with what society says about us. Also, i think it’s interesting that her friends are the judgemental ones, despite them coming from a family that is ‘well educated’. I think it shows a lot about that phrase and how being of high class doesn’t mean anything if you’re not a nice person.

Crave (Clark Family Series) by Evelyn Sola – Review by Tehreem Tahir

Crave (Clark Family Series Book 1)Crave by Evelyn Sola
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this but there were a lot of things that were really bothersome. I felt like Jake was very domineering but he does get better as the book goes on. Sandy started out as a badass woman who didn’t need a man, but becomes more insecure as the book went on. I did enjoy the whole family drama aspect of the book and I would definitely read the about the other brothers of the Clark family!

Super Sorry by C.A. King, USA Today Bestselling Author – Review by Tehreem Tahir

Super SorrySuper Sorry by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.25 stars

I was going through a reading slump when I started reading this but it was so easy to read and Sarah is just a really likeable and funny character! I feel like I really related to her despite being in my early 20’s.

Sarah is your average popular high school girl who cares too much about her image. However, puberty and other supernatural abilities hit her as she discovers more about the boarding school she’s at.

This story has a mix of mystery, humour, supernatural/paranormal elements and an adorable talking beaver! I think it was done really well and I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Love On The Ropes (Love In Action Book 1) by Aviva Vaughn – Review by Tehreem Tahir

Love On The Ropes (Love in Action, #1)Love On The Ropes by Aviva Vaughn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was so good! Erin and Clint are coworkers who dislike each other. Erin doesn’t like him because he’s overly pompous and way too cocky for her liking. And Clint finds her ridiculously attractive but because she doesn’t like him, he doesn’t like her. As they’re put into different work situations, they become closer and realise maybe there’s a misunderstanding between the two.

I absolutely loved this! I love the two separate and together! I just felt like I related to the main character so much because she was trying to prove herself and struggled with a lot internally and it didn’t seem like a plot device unlike some other books. I really liked Clint from the start although he was very self involved, he got better as time went on and I found his radio persona intriguing!

I really want to read more works by this author now! Work romances + hate to love = a very happy me! And especially when the authors writing is so witty and the character’s have such a great banterous relationship!

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams – Review by Tehreem Tahir

The Dating ItineraryThe Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Dating Itinerary is about a journalist who is semi-forced into going through different dating routes such as tinder, matchmaking, dark dating etc. and she has to give her feedback on it every week for her company’s magazine. If she ends up finding love by the end, she might finally get a cover story! The twist however, lies in her old colleague/nemesis who has the same task as her (albeit in a different magazine) who ends up bumping into her everywhere! Will they finally become friends or is he annoying until the end? Well… read and find out?

I absolutely loved this book! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did! It gave me such ‘The Hating Game’ vibes mixed with the movie ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ and I’m obsessed with both of them so needless to say, I had a blast! The characters are so real and I found the story to be so easy going and every time I put it down, I was dying to pick it up and start reading again! I would highly recommend this book!

The reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of a 5 is because I think the reason for George’s (the main man’s) reasoning for wanting the promotion was justifiable but took me out of the story a bit since it was never properly dealt with at the end, nor did it change during the book. Other than that though; the plot, the characters and the writing as a whole were highly enjoyable and exactly what I was looking for after a tiring week.

Distant Heart Sounds (Nurse Morgan Series Book 1) by Kate MacInnis – Review by Tehreem Tahir

Distant Heart SoundsDistant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is about a woman called Morgan who gains an odd ability to see ghosts after she undergoes a brain surgery.

I really enjoyed this book! It was really realistic and the majority of Morgan’s responses were how an ordinary person would react with ghosts and other traumatic things occurring, which I really appreciated! I really liked the writing style and I loved Savannah, the best friend, as well as the other people who worked at the hospital she worked at.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to read something paranormal but doesn’t want to be scared! It’s not a horror or thriller so it’s more accessible, in my opinion, to a wide variety of readers. The last chapter was slightly rushed, in my opinion, and although I was satisfied with the ending, I did want more. Although, it is the first in a series so maybe that’s why it stops where it does.
