This is such a cute book for toddlers and pre-kindergarteners. Each page contains beautiful illustrations of ocean creatures like star fish, crabs and the beach as the children learn to count from one to ten. The rhymes in each of the book are very entertaining and easy for children to grasp. I would definitely recommend this book.

Adorable rhyming book that counts from 1 to 10. The illustrations fit the rhyme and adjectives can stretch your child’s brain (bashful, unique, majestic, and basking).
The only “complaint” about the book is I use the word sea star, instead of starfish, because they are not fish, but understand the term is widely used (and explained at the end). I did appreciate how it discusses not all have 5 arms. At the back of the book there are some search-and-find activities as well as a QR code to the song that corresponds to the text.

Such a cute little book! Love the bright colored illustrations. The story is great for small children, and the pictures make it easy to follow along. My 3 yr old nephew LOVED counting all the starfish. This is a book every teacher of younger kids should have in their library! Highly recommended!

This beautifully illustrated and colourful book has a lovely lyrical nature to the words and is easy to read or read to children. The book is very interactive for young children. I would highly recommend this.

What a cute and entertaining story. Counting is not the only subject in this story. You get science, colors, as well as rhyming words. This story is easy to follow and it involves the children. Another great open ended story, to help grow our children’s minds. The author keeps her readers focused and opens up the little minds of children. I love that in a book as well as in the author. I am looking forward to reading more of these stories from this author. So are my grandchildren.

Ten little starfish is a brilliant little counting book where you can learn all about the numbers one to ten, while also learning about life under the sea, as you explore the world of ten colourful and cute little starfish.
You will dance under the waves, explore the tidepools, watch as the starfish play with their friends, all while counting their legs, looking at all the beautiful colours and spotting the other sea creatures who live around them.

This is a beautiful children’s book! The illustrations are my favorite part of the book – the colorful starfish and the cool crabs that show up on every page. A counting book with information on starfish at the end – one you can read with your child, count the starfish and learn about them all at the same time. If I still had littles, I would have this one on my shelf.

Ten Little Starfish is a counting book written by Kim Ann. My daughter loves the beach so this was perfect for her. It kept her attention well and she said she likes the pictures. She liked counting the starfish on each page. I loved that there were a few starfish facts after the story and a few games too. It kept my little reader interested in the story and made it easier for her to want to read it again. I’m always a fan of stories where we can learn without trying too hard! I’d love to share more stories by this author with my kids!

Ten Little Star Fish: A Counting Book by Kim Ann. It is a fun learn-to-count picture book that is accompanied by lovely, cute, interesting, and colourful illustrations that easily captures your attention, while bringing the whole story to life.
The rhyming verses that told the story are a great way to help teach young children to count. This also has the added interest of having some starfish ‘facts’ listed at the end of the book, as well as a ‘finder’ puzzle that made this storybook both educational and fun.
Highly recommended. An engaging, fun, imaginative, and enjoyable children’s picture book that helps them learn to count along the way.

This is a cute little book that will be great to teach a little one how to count. The illustrations are very vibrant and can help to teach colors as well. The story is narrated by a crab and tells about various aspects of starfish. At the end of the story, there is a brief activity to reinforce learning, as well as a song that can be downloaded to sing along.
This book would make a great gift, be an amazing find in a library (personal, public, school), or even in a daycare setting.

This was a fun book to encourage counting in young kids. Not only was the writing and story lovely, but the illustrations were also beautifully done. The rhyming was fun and the bright colours engaging for children.
I liked the small selection of starfish facts at the end, there was one that I didn’t know so I learnt something too!
I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun book to help young children count to ten.

This book is a fun and entertaining counting book that is perfect for young children. It is probably the first book that is better suited to my younger child which was a nice change. It was lovely to see my daughter reading it to my son, teaching him the numbers.
The images in the books kept them both engaged from start to finish and I loved sharing the book with them both. The educational element is made fun for the family. This is a great book that all kids should read.

What an engaging, colorfully illustrated, fun book of starfish as we count from 1-10. The story is wonderful and I love the rhyme that goes along each page. The starfish are in the sandy beach floor as they find their way to the rocks or on the ocean floor.
I loved that learning tidbits at the end of the story as well about starfish….this book can be enjoyed from very young to old….I never stop learning and I learned some interesting facts about starfish!

The art in this book is absolutely beautiful. I love the way this book is interactive, so the child will have to count the starfish on each prior to reading. Also, the end has different facts about starfish which is excellent to teach and learn as well as a search and find. Perfect book for children to learn counting.

This engaging picture story counting book is brilliantly presented. With so much to engage with on each page from the illustrations to the language, this book would make a great addition to a home or class library. I really like the wide range of descriptive words used as it can appeal to older children too. Recommend.

With its vivid bright and colourful pictures, it is a winner with children as they learn to count to ten. It also full of interesting facts of creatures and nature that the world has to offer.
Kim Ann stories are valuable tools that help with shaping and the development of young minds and skills as they get to enjoy sea creatures, the beach and nature.
The story is told in a rhyming manner which delighted my grandchildren. What more could you ask for.
