This is the second book in the series… and it was great!!! Love, romance, mystery… great book! It hooked me from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend this series!

This is the second book in the series and it is so good. First and foremost, you do not need to read the first one before this one to understand what is going on. I do feel that you should read the first one because these books are that good. I liked this story because the setting is a little different then what I am typically used to. I liked that they started their “relationship” only without ever meeting. It is a take on modern day romances that doesn’t get portrayed very often in books. That being said it was a little confusing when the text changed from font type to emails being sent. Once, I got the flow of it things were easier and then the book went seamlessly to the end. I enjoyed the back and forth with the characters and their natural progression and evolution throughout the book. I am a sucker for emotional growth. There is a glimpse into the characters from the first book but they don’t over shadow or draw away from the story line. It is enough tot get your teeth wet to want to read the first book if you haven’t already. There is spice in this book that is really well written. I will keep reading the series because I am a sucker for a strong romance with steam, suspense, moments that catch your breath, and great characters. Reviewed by: @bbohls

From the moment I started this story, I felt like I was being drawn into the best darn romantic suspense that I’ve read this year. The author sets up this story with some intense Dom/sub that flows into two subplots that leave you going “BAM: and the story takes off from there. Familiar faces from GOOD ENOUGH make an appearance. The chemistry is hot. This story is off the hook. There is drama, suspense, and a bit of romance. It is fast-paced. Fantastic book.

This book was a great follow up to book one! I loved the back and forth between TB and Sylvan. Sylvan has been through a lot. I’m surprised that she was able to stay passionate and good. TB has also been through a lot. But Sylvan brings out the soft side of him. The writing has again been phenomenal in this book, and doesn’t leave the reader wanting. The spicy scenes were fantastic and left me breathless. I loved that we got to see more of the team in this and see a little bit more of their personalities come out. TB and Sylvan have been so far my favorite couple and I can’t wait for book 3 later this year!

This was a great 5 star read. This series continues to pull me in. I really liked these characters and their story. Sylvan is a writer and is looking for a little more information on her subject, BDSM. When she meets TB sparks fly instantly. Both of them have secrets, what will happen if/when the secrets come out? This story had me on the edge of my seat with unexpected twists and turns. This book can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading book one first. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

This is the second book in this series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first book. This author knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat glued to the pages needing to know what was going to happen next. Both of these characters have serious trust issues because of their past. They are so different but fit so well together if they can get past all of baggage from their past. This story has danger, suspense, drama, love, and great characters. There are trigger warnings for this book but honestly those issues were dealt with so seamlessly that it makes me like this author’s style even more. I can’t say enough good things about this book so I’m just going to say this is a must read you will not regret.

4.5 stars I really enjoyed the first book in the series Good Enough which was Nicoles debut book, and I said she is an author to watch out for and after reading this book I stand by that statement. I have been anxiously waiting for this book to come out. Bad Enough is TB and Sylvan’s story where the two could not be more different. He’s the bad boy who will do what ever it takes to get what is needed. She is totally at the other end of the spectrum. This engrossing book out did the first one and the Deadman Tribe; hot sexy alpha military-security Navy SEAL men that makes you want to keep the team around. Ooohlala! The characters are strong, well developed and most definitely complex. These men are dedicated, loyal to a fault and I found myself laughing at times with their wit and banter. Bad Enough is a fast paced cleverly woven romantic suspense story. It flowed seamlessly and effortlessly even with its complex and multilayered plot. Nicole puts them through their paces with danger in spades, intrigue, lots of tension and suspense. I was engrossed; I couldn’t get enough. I like stories that have me on the edge and Nicole does that with these books. I am addicted to the Deadman’s Tribe! I want more.

The Tribe are looking for one of their own who has been MIA. While following a lead, the group makes a connection to the local BDSM club, where Tribe member TB happens to be a regular. A romance author seeks his expertise with BDSM for her next book and soon he doesn’t just want to be a reference for her anymore. This was an intense read with content warnings. I love this series and cannot wait for book #3 to come out. I recommend the book, but not without a content warning.

She’s hearts, flowers, unicorns, sprinkles, glitter, and happily ever after endings. She couldn’t be bad if she tried.
Information-Specialist TB is a ‘bad’ boy.
He’s kidnappings, interrogations, disappearing bodies, executions, and who knows what else. He couldn’t be good if he wanted to.
Good plus Bad equals Trouble.
TB and the rest of the team are hired by a Silicon Valley tech mogul to find his daughter, the fifth girl who has gone missing after a night at a local club. Now it appears that Sylvan may be the abductor’s next target. It isn’t long before TB realizes she’s hiding something, so the interrogator is going to do what he does best: secure the information. But forcing them together has consequences, and soon Sylvan and TB must decide if their differences will be what makes it work out between them, or if the secrets they are keeping from each other are bad enough to tear them apart.

This is a fantastic read. The two main characters are Kai and Waters and they have a absolutely wonderful story. They are well written and I loved how it had the elements of a movie that needed done and a SEAL being called into consult on the movie. Both characters were amazing and I really loved watching them come together to work and then possibly come together for more. This was my first book written by Nicole Craig and I loved every last page. I am looking forward to reading more by her in the future.

What a cute little why choose romcom! I loved the chemistry between the characters and it was just the pick me up I needed after the really crappy week I had. It was super fast paced, and I finished it pretty fast. If you like love, dogs, and a little spice, then you’ll enjoy this book!
Kai is a Hollywood director that wants her movie to be authentic. She needs a Navy SEAL to consult, what she does not need is to be distracted by the Hot SEAL. Waters is determined to also not be attracted to the director. On set, there starts to be accidents, missing items, and trouble. Kai’s brother goes missing, or hiding….Problems with her producer, among other things, Kai and Waters needs to figure out what’s going on, on location before something deadly happens. Among this, they try to deny their feelings for one another My first book by this author. It was a good read

I hadn’t heard of this author before, but I was interested in the cover and once I read the synopsis, I knew I had to pick it up. I enjoy the dual points of view the author provides as it always helps give more insight into the characters. I loved that our main female character, Kai, is strong and bold which was refreshing. Waters seems like the typical alpha male, but when he’s put in the same area as independent Kai, what will happen? She needs his help, but will she coordinate with him or will they both be too stubborn? I am eagerly waiting for anything else from this author as they have a beautiful way of crafting this story, and I lost time for an entire afternoon finishing it!

If I could give half or partial star ratings, I think for the first time I would. I truly enjoyed this story and this cast of characters that I hope to see in additional entries in this series. The operators were a real Tribe.
Kai Serrano is a movie director. She has directed several different genres and made many successful pictures. She is about to embark on a new movie. A military-suspense thriller. She needs a consultant to aid in making the picture more realistic and authentic. Kai had a consultant all lined-up until he was called out on a mission and would be in the field longer than expected. This consultant called in a favor.
Enter Waters. Waters is a nickname given to by his fellow operators. At this firm, everyone has a nickname and that is all they go by. Waters is struck by Kai the moment he walks into the room for the conversation about whether or not they would consult on her film. There is something about Kai that speaks to his soul but thanks to company rules, he is not allowed to have a relationship with Kai.
Over the next several months as Kai, now nicknamed Kubrick, and Waters work on the movie together, their bond grows and deepens. All of the operators slowly develop a respect and admiration for Kubrick. As secrets and truths are revealed about how Kai got into the situation she finds herself in, Waters realizes that he can’t walk away from her. Would Waters give up everything for Kubrick?
Shortly after filming has wrapped, Kai finds herself in a sticky situation and reaches out to Waters and the guys for assistance. Waters and his guys pull out all the stops to help Kai. Will it be good enough?
Looking forward to the next one in the series to find out what happened to Ka-Bar. Are God and Cherry an item? How did God end up faceless? I can’t wait until the series reveals its secrets. Jump into this romantic thriller series now!! Totally worth it.

Good Enough is the first book in the Deadman’s Tribe series by Nicole Craig. It follows film director Kai and her Navy SEAL consultant Waters as they work to film an action movie. As things heat up between them, family secrets are opened up and things get dangerous. This book has it all – a sassy, independent female lead, spice, and engaging story line. It was an intriguing opening to a new series.

Kai is a take-no-guff, force-to-be-reckoned-with spitfire of a director in Hollywood who has big goals to do justice to her movie about a team of SEALs and is seeking professional help. Waters is a physically powerful, dangerous man working consultation jobs until he heals and who doesn’t exist by anything other than Waters. Neither of them have the time or inclination to pursue a relationship, but chemistry seems to have other ideas.
After her previous expert had to bail, he offered her help in the form of calling in a favor to others who may be able to help her in his place and this is where Kai and Waters’ irresistible draw to one another begins. It begins with Kai being able to keep her mouth under control even worse than usual, and Waters acting robotic in order to not let her see his interest in her, while the disembodied voice of ‘God’ coming from all corners of the room. What originally seems like a pretty cut and dried request with a fiery beauty of a director to Waters quickly turns into much more, and that’s not even factoring in their magnetism to one another.
As Waters learns more about Kai, he starts to catch on to her situational awareness and ability to call people for what they are as being survival defenses, but from what? Before you know it, Waters makes it his job to protect Kai from the threats, break-ins and accidents that have now led to her brother going missing. Is Kai being targeted on behalf of her brother? Is she the end goal? Will they be able to keep one another safe, or is it their hearts they need protection from?
There are some parts included that could trigger some readers with assault.

The cover really pulled me in and I love a good suspense book so I had high hopes but the book fell a little flat for me. I really wanted a hook to bring me and make it so I didn’t want to put the book down and I struggled to find that moment in the book. While I understand the premise behind the book and I’m no prude by any means this story could have been so much better without the language. Reduced by 50% the book would have had the same feel but it just seemed like overkill. Even though I gave this book three stars I would still give this author another chance if there was a book that caught my eye.

Loved that you had closure but they left one story line going into a second book. Not a huge cliff hanger but enough to keep you waiting for August to hurry up! Loved the connection that Kai and Waters have right from chapter 1. Watching them evolve and their relationship and characters develop was actually really fun and kept me wanting more. This is also the authors first book, so she set the bar pretty high!!! Waiting for more!!

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good military romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book in the Deadman’s Tribe series and I’m now hooked. I couldn’t help but to fall in love with these characters. You could read the tension between these two and I absolutely loved it. I could not put this book down until the end and wow what an ending. I can’t wait to see who she is going to write about next.
Kia Serrano is trying to become a top woman director. She is going to be making a movie that involves the military topic she needed to find a man for the job. When Kia meets Waters she doesn’t know what to think of him. He is really secretive and she loves it. She is shocked when she finds out that her brother worked for the same company as Waters. Kia also finds out he is now missing and Waters is there to protect her but from who? Will Kia and Waters find out who is hunting her and why or will it be too late?

This was a great read. This is a new author to me and I am so glad I took a chance on it. This story is full of action, suspense, romance, great characters and so much more. There were some twists and turns. I was kept glued to the pages throughout the entire book. The chemistry between Kai and Waters was off the charts and you can feel it jumping off the pages. Kai is a movie director and Waters is a navy seal. Neither one of these characters do relationships because of their jobs but the attraction is undeniable. There are also other really great characters in this story and one in particular that I wanted to punch in the face. I don’t want to give anything away so I will just say this is a must read! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Good Enough is the first installment of The Deadman’s Tribe series. Nicole Craig writes with such passion for her character’s. The story line was full of romance and suspense. The story of Kai and Water’s had me hooked from the very beginning, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. There were some very intense scenes that some may find disturbing however, overall, Craig did an amazing job with this military style genre. I highly recommend this novel to all romance lovers. I can’t wait to see what Craig brings next in this series.

I absolutely loved this action-packed romance; it was full of suspense and was so realistic. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on and who was causing the issues throughout the entire story, right from the very beginning. This book was a huge page-turner, I couldn’t put it down from the moment I started reading it I was hooked. I loved the characters that we get to meet, and the code names are so realistic, it’s something that I would expect from a story utilizing any type of military. As a movie lover, this was so exciting to read, it was like watching from the sidelines of a movie set and getting to meet the actors in real life. I felt the burning romance from the second that Kai walked into the office with Waters and was not disappointed as the heat built between the two of them. The author did a stupendous job of making everything so realistic and capturing my attention in wanting to know more about everyone’s backstories. This is one of my favorite suspenseful romance series I have read and have already marked my calendar for the next book in the series to come out. While I was hesitant about this one after the beginning I ended up loving it! Kai and Waters are wonderful characters. They made me laugh and cry! They both are deep and have a lot of secrets between them. Not only are these two unforgettable characters but the author created a team that hold up to the high standards of the two main characters. I enjoyed my time with them and seeing them work together was great.
This is a incredible first book for this author. The story is well put together and moves along at a good pace. It enthralled me and kept me engaged. This has a lot of cute little pieces that make this enjoyable as the author carries them throughout the whole story. Example: backpack of death or the list of creative words. Thinking of those just makes me smile.
Overall this brought me much enjoyment. I look forward to more in this series and from this author! But I really want all these boys..Ahem men to get their special someone.

Good Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Series Book 1) by Nicole Craig. I absolutely loved this book! I can’t wait for the next one! This is the story of Kai who is a Hollywood director who is in need of a Navy Seal to make this film as real as possible. Waters is sent and he’s not in the mood for this beautiful lady director and he surely doesn’t want the feelings he’s having about her. He senses something is off the moment he gets on set and his boss feels the same way. Things begin to happen that shouldn’t, accidents that shouldn’t happen and things going missing and to top it all off Kai’s brother goes missing. Waters is going to do whatever he can to protect Kai even though she doesn’t even realize she’s in danger. Will Waters be able to keep her safe, find her brother and at the same time fight his attraction to Kai? Such a good debut read!

I really enjoyed this debut novel. The characters had depth. The storyline is well written. Who doesn’t love a strong female and an alpha man finding love. I would recommend reading this book.
