This was a quick reads. It was a short novella and I liked the characters. I feel like I wanted it to be longer and full length! I enjoyed their chemistry and dynamic throughout.

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in less than two evenings. Once I started I just couldn’t stop reading it.
Dr. Gene Rowland was driving down the road when he witnessed a single car accident. The car in front of him, swerved and ran into a tree. When he pulled over to race to help the victim, he discovered that it was a woman. Later he finds out that he actually went to school with her. It was Amanda. What he doesn’t know is Amanda used to have a crush on him.
She doesn’t want to be admitted to the hospital, so he goes home with her as a Dr. and friend to make sure that she is okay. She also is known by his mother as the Pie Queen.
She insists that she did not see a deer and swerve that it was a young girl who appeared to be afraid of something. No one believes her.
Check out the story and I am sure that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

This is a prequel to the Echo Series. This is a story with a bit of a puzzle that needs to be put together. Amanda works very hard to figure it out. At first I thought she was over the top with worry but as the story moves along I realize it is just her personality. Gene is a guy who is looking for something different. He possibly has a chance at something new but he just needs to overcome a hardhead. Overall I felt this was okay. I struggled to connect to them and their relationship did not wow me. The story is different in the respect that the suspenseful parts did not happen to main character.

This book was so good! It sets the stage for the series. Gene and Amanda are perfect! The two are in an accident. Gene who is a doctor wants to treat her and Amanda refuses to go to the hospital. There is tension, romance, a hot doctor, and a woman who doesn’t want to admit that she needs help at first.

ER Doctor Gene Rowland is returning home needing a break from the hustle and bustle of life. He witnesses an accident and meets Amanda Garner who was driving and now is hurt. Amanda is insistent that she swerved to prevent hitting a girl. The problem is despite all the effort from police, they do not see any sight of the girl and Gene begins to wonder if she really saw a girl?
This was entertaining. Gene won’t let Amanda be by herself due to her injury and they begin to fall for one another. I really enjoyed the mystery component of this story. I was pulled in and could not put this book down.

Healing Hearts is #0.5 the prequel contemporary romance tale and where it all begins for The Echo series. I love this series. We got to see these characters throughout the previous books as CR intertwines the characters, so it is good to see how Gene and Amanda’s story came to be. This heartfelt and fun-loving story will have you falling in love with the characters and hooked from the word go.
It has tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion, pain and emotions and let’s not forget the humour. There are a couple of twisty turns, small town gossips and rumour mills in this small-town romance.
I thought the last book was my favourite, but I this one definitely is now.
Gene is tired and what was once is passion is now a chore. He has lost his faith in what he does, and little does he know that it only takes a special someone to make it all ok again.
Amanda is not sure how she ended up how she did, but she is grateful for the help she is getting. Now she just has to deal with her wayward thoughts of the hot new doctor in town.
I am now waiting patiently to see what CR brings next.

I love the Echo series by this wonderfully talented author, so having this prequel to read and learn more about the lives of other characters was fantastic! Wow let me tell you it did not disappoint in any way! I was absolutely hooked on Gene and Amandas story right from the start and I just know you will be too!

I found this to be such a good story. We had the healing from the accident. Gene and Amanda’s story had roots from high school. I felt every emotion watching that relationship grow and go through it’s pains. The second part of that story was Amanda trying to get people to believe that she had seen the girl run out in front of her. This author does such a wonderful job of tying in romance with mystery/suspense. Watching him put his faith in her as he’s struggling with his logical side really hit me in the feels. It’s a very emotional story. All the characters were wonderful. Everyone had their place and the substories all tied up together nicely. This series has been one of my favorites because of this. Well done! If you haven’t read this series, you should.

Healing Hearts is a novella in the Echo series and I was so happy to read Gene and Amanda’s story. Getting all the feels I love about this series…this particular story was intriguing, some drama, a little mystery, sweet moments, healing and romance with the right amount of spice…but I love the chemistry between Gene and Amanda.
Gene Rowland comes back home to Gainesville, Georgia after being away in Costa Rica as a physician helping others. As Gene seeks what his next step is in medicine, his life turns when Amanda Garner is in need of immediate help after an accident. Gene is very caring and only wants what is best for Amanda and help her with injuries….but there is some mystery behind this accident that Amanda sustained. As Gene and Amanda get to know each other, even though they did go to high school together long ago….their connection is undeniable…will it turn to be a love of a lifetime…
This is a great story and I highly recommend reading the entire series…you will not be disappointed.

Healing Hearts: Gene & Amanda’s Story is the prequel to The Echo Series. This is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. Once I started there was no stopping until I finished. This is a novella but it’s packed with drama,angst, and so much more. This is Gene and Amanda’s story. Amanda is a local baker and Gene just returned to his hometown and is working in a clinic. When Amanda is in an accident Gene helps out. These two have definitely got chemistry between. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next with these two. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Healing Hearts is book #0.5 in The Echo series by C.R. Alam. This is a contemporary romance all about the healing power of love. It is a very enjoyable, novella length story- which makes for a quick and easy read.
It is Gene Rowland and Amanda Garner’s story- Gene is Dean Rowland’s older brother (whom we meet when he had his own story, back in Book #1). This has some mystery, drama, angst, chemistry, spice, tension, banter, intrigue, emotion, a hunky doctor, and a ‘damsel in distress’ element- all woven into a wonderful, ‘finding love unexpectedly’ romance.
As each book in the series focuses on its own ‘couple’ they can be read as standalones if you wanted. But you might just find that one isn’t enough and go hunting for more.

The prequel to the Echo Series, this book is about Gene and Amanda and how they connect. This book will give you that small town Romance vibe with some Suspense thrown in to keep you on your toes. I could NOT put this book down and truly think it is probably the best book of the series. But I did love them all!

In this prequel to the Echo series by C. R. Alam we find out how Gene and Amanda find each other. Gene is burned out in his position as an ER doctor. He takes a sabbatical from the hospital. He spends his first 3 months in Costa Rica and then returns home to work at a local clinic. Amanda is the town’s beloved baker. She is in an accident and Gene helps her out at the scene. They both feel an immediate connection. I loved reading about their journey to love. I always enjoy reading prequels that tell the story of the connected characters in book series and this one does not disappoint. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

This was a cute romance between Gene (a doctor) and Amanda (a bakery owner). At the start of the story, Amanda hits a tree with her car to avoid a girl on the road. She passes out and is saved by Gene who is passing by. Amanda becomes more worried about the “lost girl” than herself and is refusing medical attention. Gene talks her into allowing him to stay with her to make sure she doesn’t have a concussion, etc. Amanda recognizes Gene even though he just came back to their hometown, she grew up with a crush on him and just the feeling he was important. Their story is about how their relationship grows and develops trusting aspects as they try to search for this “missing girl”. While both are gaining feelings, they are at different aspects of their lives – Amanda is ready to settle down and Gene doesn’t even know where he will be in a couple of months. Both of them work together to solve a mystery about a missing girl and about feelings that begin to blossom.
I have read all the other books in the series and it was good to learn about Gene and Amanda’s story. I loved both characters. They had great independent characteristics but also had a great connection as a couple. The book was fast-moving and kept my interest the whole time. So if you are looking for a little mystery with a happy ending this is a great choice.

Gene is a doctor and Amanda convinces him to stay with her to care for her instead of going to the hospital…. Meanwhile they search for the girl and uncover ….. I guess you need to read the book to find out this bit – NO SPOILERS.
Gene and Amanda have a brief affair as he is leaving in 3 months is he?
I really enjoyed this sweet and sometimes steamy prequel to the echo series.

C. R. Alam’s books are like cruising down the freeway at sunset , vibing to the easy listening station on the radio , on the way to somewhere you’re happy to be going to . They radiate ‘happy ending’ in the most comforting way , like you know you’re going to enjoy your time between the pages & want it to last forever .
The love story of Gene & Amanda is surprising & unique & somehow so perfect for them . Amanda has quickly become one of my favorite FMCs. I wish she was real so I could walk into her shop , order a sinfully delicious banana cream pie , & ask her to be friends .
Entirely delightful sprinkles of suspense here & there paired with itty bitty twists make this book a big smooch of a chef’s kiss .
This author is lavender candles , a cozy spot , & honey milk with warm snickerdoodle cookies for dipping ; & I am soo happy they exist in this great library of a world .

I was super excited to see this box set I love when all my books are in one place. If you are looking for a fantastic series to read, I highly recommend getting this book set. Echoing Hearts
Another great read by C.R Alam. I had started the series on His Forever Muse, so I went back and read this and was not disappointed, It was just as good as the second one. Although the relationship between Rae and Dean was slow burning,it was not lacking any chemistry. The story was a real page turner, with their on/ off statues leaves you dying to know what happens. I’m so happy they got their happily ever after. Reading this one after his forever muse makes me love Brandon even more than before. Im off to read the next book. I highly recommend reading.

This is the second book of The Echo Series by the Author C.R Alam. I’m a first time reader of this author and I was amazed at the writing. The story between Callie &Brandon was so well written and has suspense, romance and ups and downs that’ll leave you engaged and intrigued.His Forever Muse is a friends to lovers romance story( It’s one of my top 5 favorite genre to read).This book can be easily read as a stand alone. That’s what I did but when I tell you I will be running to go read the first book (Echoing Hearts)and then again on April 18th when Unexpected Entanglement comes out I cannot wait.

I was waiting for this book to be released so I could read it. After the much anticipated wait I gotta say 10 out of 10 . Definitely Tied with the second book as my favorite of the series is so far. C.R Alam is amazing. She is hitting all of my favorite tropes when reading. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the new characters that were introduced in the book.the author really gets you to feel every emotion the characters feel. I love it ❤️waiting for the next installment

The Complete Echo Series is an incredibly immersive 4 book series, written by the equally incredibly author C. R. Alam. These books were absolutely addictive, so much so I was putting off important things just to finish another chapter. I loved each and every one of them, quickly falling in love with each set of characters. These don’t have to be read in any particular order, though I do recommend them all! This was my first experience with C. R. Alam, and I simply ate all of them up. I adored the entire series, and can’t wait to get ahold of more of this author!

The Echo series was a wonderful set of romance books. I appreciated having the box set because it allowed me to read one after the other without stopping to buy the next one. Each of these can be read as a standalone as they concern different couples but there are always those little bits that make reading them in order worthwhile. While this is my first time reading anything from this author I really liked their ability to bring the characters to life, make them seem real, and experience real life strife. The character growth was great. You will definitely find yourself be absorbed wholly into these novels. They are pretty quick reads but once you get started you won’t want to stop reading. I would definitely recommend giving these a shot.

This was a great series and every book was just as good as the one previous. How the author wrote the stories of these characters lives made them feel real. You will get invested in what is happening and time will pass fairly quickly. Don’t feel pressured to read these books in the order they are written. Although the characters may appear in any of the books, they can be read as a standalone and in any order you choose.

The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam

This is one of my favorite contemporary romance series! Each book, character, and setting, I fell in love with! Even though, technically, each book can be read separately and out of order, reading each book in order made me more eager for each book that came out and I absolutely love characters from previous books being brought into the current one I was reading.
First book focuses on Rae and Dean, who at first are taken aback by one another and find all the reasons not to be with each other but their chemistry takes the lead. It is great to see them bring better understanding to their individual situations and then start accepting they are a united pair. We also discover that both Rae and Dean have amazing friends that seek out what is best for them as well. Seeing these supported characters makes you feel so warm of their connectedness.
Then in the second novel, this focuses on Rae’s best friend, Brandon and Calliope, who is Brandon’s childhood friend and bandmate’s sister. This is my favorite one perhaps of their deeply rooted connection from long ago resurfacing and Calliope’s situation. Their story takes on a more suspenseful twist as Calliope was involved in a previously abusive relationship. If anyone is sensitive to these themes, it may be read cautiously but it is still worth the read!
In the third novel, this focuses on Chris, Dean’s best friend and Rowan, who recently discovered that Rae is her half-sister. After the passing of their father, Rowan, Rae and their brother own Vinalhaven Inn and are trying to renovate things for their cousin’s upcoming wedding. Chris, acting as a meditator on Rae’s behalf, tries to get to know Rowan but ends up falling for such a feisty, proactive woman. With his hotel background, he decides to stay and help out however he can, which also works in both their benefit romantically and professionally. Rae is brought into this book, which I loved.
Lastly, the story focuses on Curtis, Brandon’s bandmate and Calliope’s brother, and Lina, previous and current security detail for Curtis. Although there is still a lot of romance between these characters and past story characters brought back into the storyline, this one is a bit different as the female character Lina becomes a dominant figure in protecting Curtis from a harmful situation. I absolutely love Curtis’ take on Lina. He doesn’t feel threatened or belittles her position. More men need to take this approach with the strong women in their lives!

The Complete Echo Series is a contemporary romance boxed set that contains all four books in the Echo Series. Each story centers around different characters that will certainly take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as each couple must work through issues like time, distance, separation, jealousy, insecurity, self-discovery, and drama.
In Book One, Echoing Hearts, we meet Rae and Dean who come together unexpectedly when Rae is asked to interview a home designer. When Rae meets Dean, the homeowner, is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. After being left at the alter Dean is feeling jaded and the last thing, he is looking for is a relationship. He is civil to Rae at first but eventually becomes attracted to her wit and feisty attitude. This is an enemies to lovers story with drama, angst, chemistry, and finding love unexpectedly.
In Book Two, His Forever Muse, we are introduced to Brandon and Calliope who come together unexpectedly after fifteen years apart. Brandon is a gifted artist and musician who has lost his inspiration and creativity. He needs to find something that will spark his creativity, and this is where Calliope re-enters his life. They both find themselves in Morocco at the same time but for very different reasons. When they run into one another all the feelings Brandon once had for Calliope are rekindled. Calliope, or Callie, has had a rough past with a man who abused her and fled from him to start a new life. When she runs into her childhood friend Brandon old feelings resurface but she must decide if she trusts him enough to share her painful past with him. This was a second chance, friends to lovers romance with drama, passion, and overcoming a painful past.
In Book Three, Unexpected Entanglement, we meet Chris and Rowan who are faking being engaged to one another. Rowan is planning the perfect wedding for her cousin at an inn that her family owns. Despite the wedding being only two weeks away Rowan is determined that things like the inn needing repairs and staff will not stop the wedding from taking place. Chris is a wealthy and successful hotelier who finds himself somewhat reluctantly helping Rowan plan her cousin’s wedding. The witty banter between them gives the story a lively twist. The passion between Rowan and Chris is undeniable and might just get the two sidetracked from planning the perfect wedding. This was a fake to real romance with drama, tension, suspense, passion, family, and humor.
In Book Four, Dangerous Rhythm, we meet Lina and Curtis who are thrown together when Lina is hired to protect Curtis from someone who wants him dead. Lina must get over the less than perfect past her and Curtis have together and focus on keeping him safe from those who want to harm him. Lina is very serious by nature while Curtis is more easygoing so the two balance one another out. Lina has a hard time keeping her mind focused on her job because she is distracted by Curtis’ charm. This book had a reversal protector role, action, danger, suspense, angst, tension, and passion.
This was a great boxed set with fantastic characters, great storylines, and twists and turns. Each story had another story that was simultaneously weaved into it which added an extra dimension to the overall theme of the book. Although the theme of each book was romance there were underlying themes of angst, danger, suspense, drama, mystery, and intrigue that kept me riveted. The stories contained strong characters who were relatable and engaging.

This was a great series. You got romance, drama, jealousy, and everything in between. I love that you can read each book as a stand alone, but reading them together, as a series, you get all the little back story connections, and details. It was such a great series of books. I highly recommend them. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

However, Rae was a professional and would put writing the article about Dean’s house first. Once the article came out several months later, Dean and Rae didn’t expect their lives to cross again. Two hearts who are running from love, could they ever make a relationship work?
This was a fantastic book. I loved the story between Dean and Rae! I can’t wait to read more books by this author.

Brandon Rossi fell in love at just six years old with his best friend’s sister. She was untouchable though. After going their separate ways, fifteen years have passed. Brandon is part of a successful band and artist while Callie works in Paris in the art world. Brandon and Callie cross paths in Morocco while at a friend’s resort. Brandon refuses to let Callie slip out of his life again, so when Callie mentions living in Paris Brandon knows he has to go visit her. I love this new series! I can’t wait to see where this series goes!
Dangerous Rhythm (The Echo Series Book 4) by C.R. Alam
When Curtis is in the wrong place, the wrong time. He witnessed a murder by one of the cruelest mob families in New York. When the head of his old security team from his rock band days shows up at his door with new information regarding the murder case he knows it can’t be good. The head of the Stelleto leaves a dead rat with a stiletto heel jammed through it. Now on the run to keep not only himself safe but now his family too but unfortunately the Stelleto’s goons are hot on their trail. I love this whole series. The author hooks you from the start and every page does not disappoint. I can’t wait to see what else this author comes out with.

This was a great series that kept me wanting more. I liked not having to wait for the next one to come out. This series had lots or raw emotions and romance with twists thrown in. The author has a writing style that really hooks you from the start. I like when the author combines some action in with romance. There is a lot of character growth in this series and the author writes that really well. I will say the second book in the series was my favorite since I am all for friends to lover’s romances. I definitely recommend reading the whole series in order just to get the feel of the author.

The Complete Echo Series: A Heartfelt Romance Collection (The Echo Series) by C.R. Alam. This is such a good romantic series. One of my favorite books was Dangerous Rhythm. Its the story of Lina who used to be Army intelligence but now works as Security for the rock band Canis Major. Curtis is the epitome of rock star, he loves money, women and a wild lifestyle. Lina is loving this easy job until she gets involved with Curtis. She has been trying to avoid him because she gets her emotions all involved. When Curtis sees something he shouldn’t he becomes a target of the Mob. Lina has to be around him now so that she can protect him from this threat. Lina isn’t strong enough to fight her attraction to Curtis but she has to for the sake of Curtis’ safety. Will she be able to keep Curtis safe along with fighting her attraction to him. Will Curtis ever settle down so that Lina won’t be heartbroken! I loved this book because of the mystery along with the romance! I also really enjoyed Echoing Hearts. This is the first story of The Echo Series and its a slow burn romance. Its the story of Rae who has been reluctant to find love because she has watched her mom be heartbroken for a long time. She is a travel blogger and goes to Dean Rowland’s ranch to do a article on it. Dean is angry at everyone due to being left at the altar. When he sees Rae he thinks she is trespassing so their first meet it not pretty. After their initial meeting he can’t get her out of is mind and he wants nothing more than to see her again. She refuses all his advances and when she finally gives in and they are starting to see each other her best friend comes to town and causes upheaval. Dean has never been jealous like this. Will he ruin their new relationship because of his jealousy.

The Echo series box set includes four stories by CR Alam. Each story is written to be a stand alone couple however, they are all intertwined in each book.
Echoing Hearts is book one in CR Alam’s The Echo Series. Dean and Rae were quite the interesting pair. Though they were both stubborn, they were also scared and just wanted to be loved – even if they didn’t seem as if they did. Though Dean felt dry in a romance novel aspect, he felt real, like someone I would or could know. Rae was the sunshine in your cloudy day and always the positive one. I loved that about her character. I felt as though I truly got to know the couple as individuals. It made the story that much better.
His Forever Muse is book two in CR Alam’s The Echo Series. I fell for Brandon in book one. The romantic famous best friend. He just wants his happily ever after and he truly deserves it. Callie has had a hard time letting go from a hard past. There was a lot of character growth in this story from Callie. I enjoyed the second chance storyline between these two. It felt like any fantasy where you want to fall for the lead of your favorite band. I’m happy that Brandon got his story and that it was just what he needed. Very steamy spicy scenes. I feel like book two was much better than book one – though that is strictly personal preference.

This is an amazing series. As soon as you start reading you are not going to want to put any of them down. Each of these books contain their own stories that are full of romance, friendship, second chances, drama, angst, and great characters. This author does a wonderful job pulling me into each story and keeping me captivated throughout. I recommend reading these books in order because there are some returning characters from previous books. I’m not going to give away anything from these 4 books, but I will say that you don’t want to miss out on this box set. I love this author’s writing style, I get completely invested in the characters’ story and their outcome. This series is definitely one that you can binge read. I highly recommend this series.

1 ECHOING HEARTS
Rae does her friend a favour and does an interview with a home designer , thing is when she gets there said home owner is there and he’s not very welcoming to say the least but for the sake of his sister Kay he “tolerates” his house guest for the weekend and it pays off well for Kay and him in the long run …, the very long and beautiful run …😉
Dean is a delicious and delectable speciMAN but a little jaded after being left at the altar and he’s met his match with Rae though and she gives as good as she gets and the 2 of them had me in stitches in the beginning with their banter …
Rae didn’t have the best childhood and after her mum dies her grandparents raised her so after they passed on she essentially had no family so her friends are her family and she’s especially close to Brandon and has even travelled with him and his band I really felt I could identify with Rae on a few things like the loss of her mother and her thoughts on friends being family and the fact that a man and a woman can be friends without romantic attachments ….
Dean and Rae are good together and Rae has a big heart , Dean needs to sort his “demons” Pune gore he looses the best thing that came into his life and he can thank his lucky stars for a friend like Chris and Brandon that’s so gracious and becomes a friend …..
The people working for Dean may be old but they’re wise and I just love his driver and wanted to hug him he’s a real sweetheart 🥰 all in all he had a loving tribe and his family is warm and loving and they adore Rae and they’re just what she needs ❣️I fell in love with Rae and Dean and yes I wanted to shake him a little but he does come to his sense and they have their HEA but I want to see Brandon get his HEA…… looking for to His Forever Muse
2 HIS FOREVER MUSE
My nerves are shattered as Calliope is escaping her prison , my heart aches for her but at the same time it soars because she is so brave and determined ! The man she was involved with was a monster but he is also a man that comes from a very powerful family , this isn’t going to be an easy battle for her ……
So we catch up with Rae who is being rushed to hospital to have her baby and her bestie Brandon is on hand to get her to the hospital , her husband Dean is on his way to meet them and again I feel my heart beating faster because the precious bundle is coming to early but she’s in good hands ….
Brandon is not only a talented musician it a gifted artist and he’s already had his first exhibition which was rather successful and after a crazy work tour he takes a breather and starts touring and it’s in Morocco where he meets up with his “ muse” his forever love , his best friend and band members sister Calliope aka Callie and as youngsters they were tight and feelings were there but never talked about it acted on , their paths parted but what a beautiful reunion in Morocco and then Paris , hand on my heart ❣️
Brandon and Callie are just poetry in motion and there were moments we here my heart stopped with fear thanks to man that won’t be mentioned ( he deserves no airtime) but it also soared because of Popo with her delicious meals and warm heart , you just want to sit around her table , hug her , eat her food and talk your heart out with her . Then there’s Callies tribe , her Amazonian warriors ❣️Genevieve, Anais and Madeleine that protects her so fiercely but love just as hard and let’s not forget the precious little Eleanor aka Ella ❣️all these people just climbed into my heart and made me part of their family !

3. UNEXPECTED ENTANGLEMENT
Again I just got lost in the cover art ❣️love the dedication ❣️📚
So now we’re all friends or rather family it really felt good to be amongst my people again 🫶🏼 knowing Rae and her history I was curious to hear how the other family lived…
I can only imagine the shock Rowan must’ve had first of loosing her father and then his dying words and wish 🥲so Rae can’t meet up with her family but Chris goes on her behalf and he has alterior motives and none are sinister but the man has his own issues and he’s protective of his friend , bless his heart …..
So Chris and Rowan didn’t get off to a good start but soon enough they’re working as a team to arrange the wedding , promote the inn , get the community on board oh and find out who is trying to sabotage them around every corner …. I know such excitement !
Kieran is a good soul and a protective brother but his heart is in the right place and I just fell in love with his nature 😉
Alit of people saw Chris as a threat which in turn put Rowan in a difficult position so out of pure desperation she makes a rash decision that puts both her in Chris in the limelight but man what sun it was to watch these two , they’re so different yet so similar , a perfect match I must say 🥰😉
Gibbs worked on my last nerve but again you can’t fault the old guy , his heart is in right place he’s just not always good at showing it and more often than not comes across as a real gruff and grumpy old man , please be patient with him and his show him love , I know these people have become part of me so I just want others to love them like I do 😘
This is a story of love , redemption, regret, forgiveness, remorse , hope and so much more but it’s also laced with anger , jealousy and vengeance.
I was kept on my toes , I laughed , cried , held my breath and cheered friends on and I’ve a new found respect for cats 🐾🤣, just saying !
4. DANGEROUS RHYTHM
Having read the previous 3 books I knew I was in for a treat but this one was like a good red wine it only gets better with time 😉❣️📚
Loving the cover art and it really captures the characters natures , Cutis looks nerdy and with his rockstar persona you’d expect a certain arrogance but I tell you what , just watch him with kids and your knees will turn to jelly and the cover captures that perfect and as for Lina is captures her seriousness 😉so yes in this instance you can judge a book by its cover ❣️📚😉
So Curtis and his band are on your and Lina Is part of the protection detail , things get little more than tense when they’re witness to a lethal stabbing and now the mafia is after him and Lina is now full on protector and the hunt is on , the hunt for blood and the hunt for love , I know it sounds weird but read it and you’ll see where I’m coming from

Lina is very serious and Curtis is a lot more laid back and they bring out the best in each other I think , like yin and Yang ☯️ and I loved watching them find each other in between the twists , suspense and tension of their quest to stay safe . I enjoyed going with them to so many different places and sampling different cuisine 😉🤣it really was just a brilliant read from start to finish !
