The Guard: A Soppranaturale Series: Book 2 by Ashley Pagano. I recommend reading these books in order. This may be on the shorter side but it still packs a punch with a great storyline and great characters. Characters that draw you so completely in that I was happy to be lost in its pages for a while. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and they are so easy to connect with. The storyline is unique in it’s own right and I loved every minute of it. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next. Four big stars and highly recommended.

This second book may have just surpassed the first – which I didn’t anticipate being possible. Pagano has done a beautiful job continuing this series and making it fresh and exciting. I love Ommily and Link and reading more of their journey with the Soppranaturale. I truthfully don’t want to give anything away because it is just so beautifully written and worth the reading experience. Beautifully done. A must read for all fantasy lovers!

Normally these types of novels don’t peak my interest as I’m more of a romance/erotica kind of girl but this one swayed me I love how magical this storyline is! It is full to the brim of supernatural, magic, danger and sooo much nore! It really did take me on whirlwind adventue which I was eager to sink my teeth into and I’m certainly excited to read more from this author! Also it does have a touch of romance in it too which was a lovely touch it was different to read something with the magical storyline I do highly recommend giving this novel a read!!!

This is the second book in the Soppranaturale series. I highly recommend reading book one to understand the characters and what they have been through already. This story is full of action, adventure, magic, supernatural, and danger. In the first book, we were introduced to Ommilu and Link. They are the last two Fae and their journey has not been an easy one. In this story, they are Guards at the hotel. They are pushed to limits they themselves cannot expect. This is a fast paced story, The pages just fly by and the book can be read in one sitting. You will want to read the whole book to see what happens to Ommilu and Link.

This is the second book in the series and I would recommend that you read the first part to fully understand this one. Fairies are so rare and now there are two in the hotel. After winning the gauntlet, Link and Ommily joined the guard. Not everyone is happy about that but they need to put aside their differences if they are to overcome the battle that awaits them. Sacrifices need to be made and some may need to make the ultimate one.
This is a romance filled with action and fantastical creatures. Magic abounds within these pages. The author pulls you in and keeps you wondering what will happen next. This book was a great addition to the series. The ending leaves the author room to take the story in a multitude of directions. I’m excited to see what will happen next.

The Guard by Ashley Pagano is the second book in A Soppranaturale Series. First, read the book prior to this one before delving into this book. This book picks up shortly after where the first ended. Ommily and Link are back and have a lot to get through. There is no rest for them in protecting the Soppranaturale Hotel as the two remaining fae. This book takes the reader to a new and interesting world, which keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. I stayed up late into the night to finish this because I had to know what was going to happen. I just couldn’t wait. I enjoy that this is not a straight up fantasy but has a bit of romance, action, and plenty of twists and turns. It was a great way to spend a rainy day. I look forward to reading more from Ashley Pagano in the future.

I thought this book was a great addition to the series and I enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend reading this series in order to get the best reading experience as possible because it picks up where book 1 left off. Ommily and Link are our main charcters and we get to see them navigate through life as part of the Guard and they fight rogue supernaturals. Alot happens in this story and it kept me on my toes. I cant wait to read more by this author in the future and I would recommend this awesome read to a friend.

This book sees Link and Ommily tested like never before and keep you gripped to see whether they can win in the end.
The characters were really well written and easy to follow. Its a great supernatural story that keeps you hooked.

The Guard by Ashley Pagano a fancy five-star read. This is number two in a Soppranaturale series and it is best to read them in order to get the most out of them. This was such a well-done paranormal story, it has so many fast-paced lines that hook you in and don’t let go. There is something for everyone in this series and this story, action and passion and romance, a story that will run you through the emotional wringer, but you will still love it. I don’t want to say too much, so I will just say you need this story!!

This book is an awesome second book. It’s not too often that a second equals or is better than the first. This is one special book because it does that! It is a continuation of book 1 and tells how things are since winning the Gauntlet. Each of the characters is moved forward personally but they also grow together. I loved seeing each of them and their powers.
Do you like action, romance, paranormals? Yes, Yes, Yes?..Me too! This has all that and more! This is full of wonderful characters. I loved wondering what Ommily and Link would do next, who they would run into and what kind of paranormal they were. Or maybe they were human.
Overall I really loved this! Excellent idea (hotel) for the story. The characters are fun, sassy and annoying. They even made me tear up! I would love to see more of these characters anytime!
I would highly recommend reading The Gauntlet (book 1) before reading this. There are a few overlapping stories as well as the first time Ommily comes to the hotel.

We are still at the Soppranaturale Hotel which is an undercover sanctuary for paranormal & supernatural creatures who run the Soppranaturale. Ommily and Link are the very last two Fae and they love each other dearly. Ommily and Link are assigned to protect and then conquer the Gauntlet. They are now trying to protect the Soppranaturale Hotel from its pending demise. They along with other members of the Guard are using their powers to fight the rouge supernaturals. Going thru horrible battles and testing every bit of their powers and relationship Link and Ommily will fight til the bitter end. This book was once again written brilliantly, with brilliant descriptions and epic high fantasy, romance, action & adventure, It was a captivating and engaging read from the very beginning. This book picks up right after book 1 so I highly suggest that you read them both in order to get the full experience of the characters stories and journeys from the very beginning.
This book fully captivates you into this world the author has created and you get lost within the pages, it feels like you are there within the story living it out alongside the characters. You will never get bored while reading this book, it’s fast-paced and will leave you wanting more! I can’t wait to read more from this author and to see what else will come to series! I really enjoyed the second book in the Soppranaturale Series by Ashley Pagano. I don’t usually read this particular genre but I really liked book 1 and the authors writing I felt was really engaging and enjoyable to read. Again I was quickly absorbed into what I was reading; the author’s descriptive language makes for great world building. The characters are very creative and I liked reading about them. I enjoyed following Link and Ommily again in this story, they definitely had some obstacles to face this time – I loved reading about them! The story does have quite a few layers to it which made it more exciting to read, I found myself easily lost in what I was reading! I think this book definitely needs to be read after book 1 to fully understand everything going on. I definitely recommend this series!!

YES! I had high hopes for this novel after reading the first in the series, which I recommend that you do as well before diving into this one, but this knocked it out of the park. I really have grown to love taking an escape type vacation to a magical world of the Soppranaturale. The way this book is written you are transported to a land you could only imagine in your wildest dreams with all kinds of magic and inhuman creatures.
This book picks up just shortly after the last with Ommily and Link finally finding each other and in the Guard but with a whole new set of obstacles in their way. There are several layered elements between the Guard and the romance between the two that there is hardly a moment to breathe let alone get bored. I found myself reading this well into the night to see how the culmination of everything would turn out. Not one missed wink was missed. I look forward to seeing what will come next from Ashley Pagano!

I loved the first book and couldn’t wait to dive into this story and continue the adventure. Full of magic, secrets, supernatural and paranormal beings, discovery, action, danger, and more. We discovered The Soppranaturale Hotel in Book One- the ’undercover’ sanctuary for paranormal & supernatural creatures who all do their part to keep things running and contribute to The Soppranaturale. We met Ommily and Link- the very last two Fae, as they proceeded to connect and then conquer the Gauntlet. This book sees them being tested like never before, as rouge supernaturals enter the picture- placing everything they hold dear in grave danger! What happens next kept me avidly reading to discover if they win out in the end. I highly recommend reading book one before starting on this book, as there is important backstory and interesting details contained there, which will enhance your appreciation of this book. I loved reading the book The Guard (A Soppranaturale Series Book 2) by Ashley Pagano. It is a story that includes action, danger, romance, and magical beings. It is a book that pulled me in, and I was hooked. I love the characters of Link and Ommily. They have found each other and reading about their feelings for each other made me believe in true love and soulmates. This story has suspense and I found myself turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. What will happen when evil forces rise against the Soppranaturale hotel? Read this book to find out. The author does a wonderful job in world-building and making both the storyline and the characters come to life on the pages. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Link and Ommily. Many of them are helpful and help them take a stand against the forces that come against them. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that you will not be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this book. This is book two in this series, I highly suggest you read book one before this one. It will help your enhancement of this series and get to know where the characters come from and where they are now. This is a great second part of this story. Ashley loves to write stories that end with a cliffhanger, that have the reader begging for more and questioning what happens next. Her most recent novel sets the stage for the fairy love saga of the century and includes vampires, witches, shapeshifters and werewolves who just love to get in the way of true love. Ashley has won awards for her design, art and writing.
Ashley doesn’t believe in down time whatsoever and actually loves having a full “To-Do” list. Ashley is a wife to her wonderful husband, Eric and a mother to a beautiful little girl, Dakota. She is also a Graphic Designer and a health and fitness coach. Her husband and daughter inspire her to be the best person she can be and encourage her to pursue any of her dreams (no matter how extravagant they may be).
