Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee

Rogue Wave is the second book in The Inland Seas Series by Gwyn McNamee that is fast paced and filled with action. I found myself lost in the pages, on the edge of my seat and couldn’t stop reading till the end. I absolutely loved the characters Cutter and Valentina, they are definitely in the top as my favorites of this author. Cutter is a dangerous man, and is very good at planning and carrying out missions. Valentina is a independent yet strong woman who finds herself being saved by Cutter. He’s suspicious of her and doesn’t hide his anger yet she feels drawn to him. What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I highly recommend reading not just this book but the first Book in this series as well. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee is a five star novel. First off, Gwyn McNamee is one of my favorite authors. I have read many books by this author and have loved every single one. I was so excited to read this next series from her. As with most series, starting from the beginning gives you more background and another great story, so I recommend that. This novel is full of suspense as Cutter and Valentina have many fights and setbacks and don’t believe they are good for each other, but for some reason, they just can’t leave it well enough alone. As the story unfolds, we are able to find joy for them and hate as well. Perfectly written!

Gwyn McNamee has done it again! She keeps proving to us how much of an incredibly versatile author she is!

After leaving us with that ending in Squall Line, I couldn’t wait to dive into this read, and boy am I glad I did! This book was even better than the first! I was totally captivated and entranced with this read. You are not short of epic twists and turns that have you on the edge of your seat. I absolutely love both of the main characters in this read the are opposites that definitely attract with their passion, chemistry and the back and forth they have they continue to make me want to find out more and follow their journey throughout.

I cant wait to see what else is brought to this series, this book is a must-read that you will not want to miss!

Rogue Wave by Gwyn McNamee a five-star read that will leave you out to sea. This is number two in the Inland Sea series and they just get better with each reading, this built on the characters and story, making it a stronger and more developed story. Cutter and Valentina are just so powerful together, they have such a great chemistry it sets the page aflame. But there is a slowness to the burn, its not a quick burn and out, it burns slow and strong just like the best fires. Gwyn McNamee always brings a good story, but this one brought the waves as well.

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee is a great addition to this series. It is a fast paced and action packed tale that will have you restless on the edge of your seat. The characters are complicated and fierce but also have many many layers but once you peel them back you can see into their hearts. I enjoyed book one but this book had me feeling so much more for our two main characters and their stories. I am glad we got to peel back Cutters layers and that what we found was a man who has the same fears, self doubts and hurts and is afraid to go after what he thinks he could never have.

Valentina is not afraid to call you out and tell you how it is. What she does not like however, is to be disrespected and you can bet your bottom dollar the man who infuriates her is also the same man who sets her heart on fire.

Gwyn has written a story that is a great read and has a great plot which is complemented with the strong characters she has given us. I look forward to the next installment.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I devoured this book and i was sucked into all of the awesomeness. There is twists and turns, I laughed and I cried throughout all of it…. i couldn’t put it down.
I was excited to get Cutter’s Story! He appeared in the first book and i knew i had to get my hands on his story and figure him out. He is such a great character and i was interested to see were his story would go. He meets Valentina and the chemistry between them is off the charts. They are each others equal but they have to find common ground and learn to get along or the chemistry between them will fizzle out and the love hate relationship they have will just turn into hatred.
This story is a must read and i would recommend it to a friend.

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee. This book was amazing and don’t start it thinking you will stop after a few chapters. It sucks you in and you are glued to the pages! This is the story of Cutter and Valentina also known as Kraken & Principessa. Cutter is a deadly and dangerous guy who does what he has to do and does it well. Valentina is strong, intelligent and independent so when Cutter saves her it throws her off completely. Cutter is supposed to be her enemy but there is so much chemistry between them. Cutter is even letting thoughts of her mess with his job and that’s never happened. Will Valentina let down her guard and let Cutter in? She doesn’t want a sweet, cookie cutter man she likes the raw, wild, gunfighter he is. This is not for the faint of heart. It will make your blood boil in more ways than one! Great read!

Rogue Wave is the second book in the Inland Seas Series by Gwyn McNamee. This is not my first book by this author and it will not be my last. One thing I have found with McNamee is that I do not start reading her book until I can have enough time to read the entire story. This story is captivating. This book has Cutter and Valentina story. Valentina is a highly intelligent woman. She was saved by Cutter. There is some tension between Valentina and Cutter. Their relationship can border on a love/hate relationship. This story took me on a roller coaster ride that kept me on the edge of my seat. There is some suspense within the story, so keep your eyes open and enjoy the ride with Valentina and Cutter.

Book 2 in “The Inland Sea Series”, ROGUE WAVE picks up where SQUALL LINE left off. As there is a continuing arc, I recommend reading this series in order.

“So I’m alive?”
“All your breathing and talking suggests that.”
“Am I gonna make it?”
“Not because of anything you did, but because of modern medicine and the strongest antibiotic…”

Cutter was a real @$$ and I didn’t care for him I the first book. He definitely redeems himself now. He can still be an @$$, but at least I understand why.

The book has a pace to it that moves so quickly at times I was afraid I wouldnt be able to keep up. The writing is so visual, it is like watching a movie and the dialogue is serious, witty, necessary, and reasonable. Throw in a bulldog named Milo and it is just a winning combination.

This is one of those series that I can’t wait for the next edition to be written. It is shaping up to be my favorite series.

I absolutely recommend this series.

Rogue Wave is the 2nd book in the Inland Seas series by Gwyn McNamee. It can be read as a standalone but I’d suggest you also read Squall Line before this book, purely as Squall Line is a fantastic book and will introduce you to Grace and Warwick who also play an important role in this book. I first became a fan of Gwyn McNamee by reading her fabulous Slip Series (highly recommended).
Although I’m a fan of this author I was very wary of reading this book as I really didn’t like the main character Cutter in the first book, so I was afraid that I wouldn’t connect with him in this book. He’s an angry, abrupt, arrogant man. For most of this book I still didn’t like him at all. This did not stop me from loving this book. Valentina is a total badass, feisty woman and gives back as good as she gets from Cutter. I loved the dynamic between them, how they both distrusted and disliked each other yet couldn’t help but be wildly attracted to each other.
I also found that I was totally gripped to the storyline from the very beginning and was kept gripped throughout. This book is filled with danger and suspense and you can’t put it down as you want to know what’s happening next.
I really hope that the author continues this series as I’d love to see more from the other guys in the group.

Holy hotness Batman! It gets increasingly difficult to review Gwyn McNamee’s novels. I struggle to find the words to really express what each of her novels do to me as I read them, and Rogue Wave was no exception to the rule. In fact, this book stands out as one of my favorites of McNamee’s to date. A difficult thing to do when her Stone Sober novels are some of my all time favorite reads in the history of ever.

This book takes back to the Inland Seas and the dark, looming, and suspenseful romance that seems to plague the characters in these books. This time we get to follow The Kraken and Principessa, also known as Cutter and Valentina. I absolutely flove these two. The way their romance ignited my kindle screen will be difficult to ever forget. I was gripped by the story they had to share with us and couldn’t get enough of the suspenseful drama that unfolded. I will definitely be the first in line for the next installment. I am sure it will just as fabulous and blow me away!

Rogue Wave by Gwyn McNamee is the second book in the Inland Seas series. If you haven’t read anything by this author before then I cannot stress enough that you need to change that. And this series is the perfect way to do it.
Gwyn McNamee can only be described as a pure artist. Everything she writes is perfect. It has the right amount of action and suspense, off set with romance and passion. Her characters are strong and relatable. They draw you into the story so fully that you are engrossed without even trying. That for me is what made this book so amazing. Cutter and Valentina were brilliant. The charisma and the chemistry they had both popped off the pages.
The book had the right pace to it as well. The author knew when to push it forward and knew when to draw back to let the story tell itself. This is yet another 5* read from this author and I cannot wait to see what else will be next.

Rouge Wave by Gwyn McNamee is the second book in the Inland Seas Series
She has a way of grabbing you from the very beginning of the story and takes you on an amazing journey with her characters. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have read by Ms. McNamee and I have been fortunate enough to read most of what she has written to date.

Cutter is the guy you see walking down the street towards you and you either find yourself crossing to the other side or doing everything possible to make sure he didn’t notice you. He is angry (justifiably so) and his anger is visible.

Valentina is awesome. She’s tough and not afraid of Cutter or calling him out on his bull. She is a great person to match up against him and they do go toe to toe a few times.

Great book two to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!

Rogue Wave was a great 5 star read and book two in The Inland Seas series.
All I can say is Wow, what a heck of a read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next.

I was excited to get Cutter’s story. We got to meet him in the first book. In this book we get Cutter’s history which drew me right in and intrigued me.

Cutter is very edgy and not your typical man and I loved him. Valentina was a strong woman who was looking for her equal, and Cutter fit that mold. These two were so hot together you could feel the chemistry coming off the pages. We get some very steamy scenes from them.

Can these two get a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. There are several unexpected twists and turns that threw me for a loop. All of the secondary characters were great. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. If you’re looking for a great MC read, I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today.

This is just as entrancing as the last book! The author easily draws me in and traps me with her words. I can’t let go until I have finished this book!! She makes me care about these characters. After the last book I couldn’t WAIT for Cutters book. I wanted to know more about him and WHAT type of woman could handle him. Let me tell you…it was worth the wait! He is a scary, angry, hard and a bad attitude kind of guy! This is not your normal lovable alpha man.

Hanging out with the crew is great as always. They have a wonderful camaraderie and trust in one another. Having War on Cutter’s case about certain things (involving a woman) made me laugh and chuckle.

Another knockout by this author. The writing is so smooth! Easy transitions from one scene to another making it flow so nicely. Everything is just perfect.i can’t wait for the next. Preacher!

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee was a fast pace, action filled edge of your seat read that had me hooked.

The second book in this intriguing read, I was pulled in right away. The book bought out all that I wanted from the MC’s in the first book. And I have to say that I loved this book more than the first.

The MC’s really stole the show. Well developed with strong layers that just kept being pealed back, they kept me reading and I didn’t want it to stop. It isn’t very often that I fall for both leads, and I have to say even though I wasn’t a big fan of Cutter in the first book, this one showcased him in a different way. So much backstory, so much, just, wow. I want to know more about him. Valentina carried over that fierce powerhouseness from the read, and she just kept proving how awesome she is.

Overall this is worth your time and energy, it has everything you want, strong sexy complex characters, great plot, wicket writing, and you got one hell of a good read. To end this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

5 ++++++ Stars

I just read this book in about 3 hours, I could not put it down once I started. I was so so so angry after Squall Line (angry in a good way LOL) and I could not wait to dive in to this one and I loved it just as much as Squall Line…There was sort of a cliffhanger but not one like the other so Im not swearing after this one.

There was a twist in this one that floored me, I had no idea and I think I kinda like it but I’m not sure, so we will see what the next book brings.

I have fallen in love with all of these people and can’t wait for what I hope is all of their stories. This series is a bit different than I’m used to from this author and Im really really loving it and hope she continues it for a while. I love how she is carrying these stories over into the next book, keeping everyone major players throughout.

I loved it as I do anything that this author writes and can not wait for the next in this series.

O-M-G!!! What a phenomenal read! I was completely captivated by this book from the very first page! This author truly does know how to capture my attention and keep it until the very last word. I thought I loved book 1 in the series but Ms McNamee took this story to a completely different level – I think it is definitely in my top 5 reads of 2019, if not my favourite!
I probably shouldn’t have liked Cutter, I mean he wasn’t the nicest of characters but I couldn’t help myself, there was just something that drew me to him straight away. Valentina was a great female lead, I kind of expected her to be a little naive but she wasn’t at all – she could definitely stand her ground!
I almost wish I had never read this story just so I can go back and start it all over again! Fantastic characters, great storyline and a twist that I absolutely did NOT expect! I absolutely loved this book and I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Squall Line by Gwyn McNamee is the first book in the Inland Seas Series. I love Ms. McNamee and have read almost everything she has released and knew as soon as it was released I would be reading it. She is one of the few authors I love so much that I don’t bother reading the synopsis because I will be reading the book.

She once again did not disappoint me with this story featuring Grace and War. She just has a way of pulling you into the story and refuses to let you go. I loved the way Grace stood up to War fron the very beginning and would not stop even when she pushed him and his temper to edge.

This is a happy ending cliffhanger if that makes sense. I’m so looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next and to the rest of the guys.

Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series Book One) by Gwyn McNamee is a five star novel. I have read several books by this author and she has yet to fail to captivate my attention from the first several paragraphs. The author’s way with words is breathtaking and intelligent. The names in the novels I have read, always have hidden meanings and are brilliantly chosen for each novel. War and Grace, the two main characters in this novel are aptly named. Grace is a good girl who is forced into the shopping industry by her father when he suddenly passes away and leaves the family in a lurch. Warwick is a man who was forced into doing bad things because of his upbringing and didn’t fully realize as a teenager what he was getting himself into. As these two are forced into each other’s orbit, they each realize that their main goal in life might be shifting to include each other.

I just finished reading Squall Line by Gwyn McNamee.

This was such a fresh and fun story line!
I really had pictured something completely different after reading about the book and I was excited to read it – let me tell you that I was taken by surprise and it was a thousand times better than what I had in my mind!

I absolutely fell in love with all the characters, the surroundings were described so perfect that I could clearly picture them in my mind and like I said earlier – the story line itself was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat, for all the right reasons!

Warwick and Grace both surprised me and I love both of them – they are both complex characters that you can’t ever pin down and you’ll learn a lot about them and what lead them to be where they are, when you meet them.

I devoured this book and I’m actually going to be reading it again!

That’s how good it is.

Gwyn McNamee is one author that I’ll be looking for, from now on – I really hope that we get to see books about the rest of the characters we saw in this book.

I’d give this book 10 stars if I could. Thank you Gwyn McNamee, thank you.

First off I want to say I LOVE the cover of this book. That drew me in right there! Then I start reading and I am captivated by the beginning. Them I’m thinking…it can’t get better?? Yes…yes it does! The names of War’s crew and we won’t even talk about their attitudes but DANG! I love this!

My only and I mean ONLy issue is all the rehashing in their heads! I’m not saying this situation doesn’t warrant it. Pirates..Kidnapping and Mafia..OH My! Each of these characters comes off very strong (not physically) and to hear them be so unsure in their heads turned me off after a while. That’s not to say I didn’t devour this book. Because I did! I read it in one day! This is a great idea for a series. A new avenue of Something that has been missing. Modern day pirates! I can t wait for Cutter’s adventure into romance.

Squall Line is the first book in The Inland Seas series by Gwyn McNamee. Having read several books by this author before, I had high hopes for this book and the author definitely lived up to my expectations.
Although this is a contemporary romance novel, this book had so much action and suspense too. I was gripped into the story from the very first page and hooked right up to the end wondering how Warwick and his team were going to survive and escape the wrath of the evil Arturo.
The sexual chemistry which simmers between Warwick and Grace is compelling and you can’t help get drawn into the angst between the 2 of them.
I loved the other guys in Warwick’s team. They were not just secondary characters, they added so much to the story and I look forward to getting to know these guys better in the rest of this series.
I have to make one comment about the ending…WTF!! There better be more of Grace and Warwick in the remaining books in this series as there is one ‘little’ question I need the answer to. NOW!

Modern day pirates! Misunderstood bad guys! This is what all romance dreams are made of.
McNamee does not disappoint! McNamee’s stories always have parts that make you laugh, cry and even sigh. Squall Line is no different in those aspects. However, it is different in that it is original (at least to me). Pirates usually conjure images of long ago, peg legs, eye patches, smelly uncaring men. Thankfully that is not the case in McNamee’s world of pirates!

I loved this adventure as I was not sure which way it was going to go. The ending left me wishing it wasn’t ending but still smiling, wanting more and glad to know that there is more in this new series! I loved that this story was easy to follow, not too many characters or story lines. Just the right amount of suspense, steam and adventure!

I recommend this story as well as other stories by McNamee.
