The Last Resort Motel: Room One by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Shannon Fowler

What a great idea! The Last Resort Motel is a new series which includes a new story from a different author each month. This review is only for Room One by Gwyn McNamee.

This was a fun but quick read. It includes an adventure with some steamy sex. And there were guys with guns! Adventure, sex and guns oh my! This story is straight forward with no huge plot twists at the end. I love the way McNamee left the ending. We have the hope of more but at the same time could be perfectly happy with the ending as is. McNamee even gave us just enough details about the main characters, Max and Aurora, that we feel connected to them in this story but at the same time there is enough kept from us that McNamee could write more about them later!

Aurora and Max are just wandering through life. It seems that they are waiting for some big adventure! Little do they know what they find in Room One!

I can safely recommend this story and look forward to the rest of the series.

The Last Resort Motel: Room 1 by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Jenni Bishop

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Last Resort Motel: Room 1 by Gwyn McNamee is a short story and is a little different to your normal romance stories and is refreshing. I enjoy reading Gwyn’s writing style and the characters are very well developed. I love the depth of the characters and their quirkiness.

Aurora wonders why she stays, why she puts herself through it nut when it all comes down to it, she knows why she stays. When Mr Mysterious and Sexy walks in she wonders, how he ended up there. He isn’t your normal person to this neck of the woods. Where does he go when he leaves?

Add in the healthy dose of mystery and suspense, throw in a bit of steamy sexiness chemistry and you have a good story.
