This is a quick read that does not have any slow moments. This novella consists of passion, conflict, betrayal, and so much more. This is a jungle romance where the main character, Lydia, finds out that her boyfriend has been kidnapped because he knows where a valuable ring has been hidden. She is told that unless she retrieves the ring her boyfriend will die. The twist is the only person that can help her on what is sure to be a dangerous task is her ex boyfriend, whom also happened to be best friends with her kidnapped boyfriend. The plot is very interesting and provides plenty of twists. There seems to be a few plot holes and abrupt ending but overall it creates a nice escape and keeps you on your toes.

You know you’re in love when you’ll trek into the bush to save your man, avoiding gunfire and fighting murderers. Either that or Lydia is really insane. Lydia goes to the Casanu forest to save her lover Cam when the vicious Efrain kidnaps him and demands she give Theodore’s Ring, a fabled item worth millions. You’ve got it, girl! She sets out on the journey with her ex-lover, Sullivan (say what now? ), who agrees to assist her despite his desire to reclaim her and vows to make her his, no matter what it takes. Lydia quickly realizes that saving Cam and being stuck in the jungle with no hair products is only half the battle. Add in harsh terrain, three mysterious strangers, a duel with a King Cobra, and an ex who can’t keep his hands to himself, and Lydia quickly realizes that saving Cam and being stuck in the jungle with no hair products is only half the battle.
I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read the rest of her books.

Lydia in this story was captivating. She was a no nonsense kind of woman. She didn’t care who got in her way, she was going to do her best to save her new boyfriend much to her ex’s dismay. The entire time he does not stop trying to get her back, but she doesn’t stray. She always keeps Cam in her minds eye. Many trials are put in her way to keep her from saving Cam, but she doesn’t let that stop her. I enjoyed reading about Lydia’s adventures. Her story keeps you on the edge of your seat and rooting for her the entire way. The ending was not what I expected, but I still enjoyed it!

Theodore’s Ring: BWWM Action Adventure Romance by Stacy-Deann
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. It won’t be my last by the author either. The main characters in this story are from a series I haven’t read, but will now.
Lydia knows wild adventures and is used to them. When her boyfriend is kidnapped over something she won’t back down. She knows what is worth fighting for and she’s going to fight. The quote I chose for Lydia is: “I’m not some woman you can just push around. I’ve been through hell and back in the last year, so there’s nothing you can do to intimidate me.”
Cam doesn’t know when to give up and now it’s gotten him kidnapped. He’s called in a favor from a person he knows Lydia won’t like. He’s hoping he can survive this. The quote I chose for Cam is: “He’s been in Casanu for a year now. He got in touch with me on social media some months back and we reconnected.”
The adventure started almost as soon as I started reading and didn’t end until the very end of the story. This book had some twists and unexpected turns but made total sense.
Lydia is a much better woman than I am. There is no way I could have gone on the adventures she went on with Cam, but at the same time I would love to have that opportunity to travel and see the world in that way.
I love it when a new to me author keeps me as engaged as I was while reading. Ended reading this way later than I should have but I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next with Lydia and Cam and the rescue.
I will be keeping my eye out in the future for more books by this author.

A wild ride of a read. A heroine that is not afraid to get down and dirty and rescue the one she loves, trekking through the jungles of Casanu with danger lurking at her heels at every turn. What’s not to love? Theodore’s Ring is an adventure-adrenaline-packed novel that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats.

This fairly quick read is full of action, drama, suspense and of course romance, everything I expect in a story by this author. I liked the main character, Lydia and felt she was likeable and relatable. When Lydia’s boyfriend Cam is kidnapped by Efrain she does not hesitate to get him back, even though it means going into the difficult terrain of the jungle, dodging bullets and fighting the bad guys. In order to get Cam back Lydia must deliver a legendary artefact, known as ‘Theodore’s Ring’, which is worth millions, to Efrain. To complicate things further, she is embarking on her dangerous journey into the Casanu jungle with her ex-lover, Sullivan, who is determined to get Lydia back, whatever the cost! This is a fast paced read with an exciting storyline and plenty of plot twists, all of which had me hooked from start to finish. The characters and the setting are brought to life by the descriptive narrative and I felt fully immersed in the story. An enjoyable and engaging read.

Action, Adventure, and Romance abound when Lydia Quarter comes home to find her Boyfriend Cam missing, kidnapped by the merciless Efrain. With a sinister threat lingering in the air and only days to accomplish her mission Lydia must traverse the Casanu jungle to find a legendary artifact named Theodore’s Ring to trade for Cam’s life. With her Ex-boyfriend Sullivan as her guide (the man who wants her back feverishly), Lydia’s life is about to get even more dangerous and complicated. This book was so fun to read! Theodore’s Ring is the perfect blend of excitement, suspense and humor, with unexpected twists and turns you never see coming. This book gets you emotionally invested with its vivid storytelling, relatable characters, and bold testaments of love. I also really liked seeing the similarities and differences of how both Cam and Sullivan treat Lydia. I recommend it to anyone who likes a really satisfying read.

Theodore’s Ring was a fast paced, easy read. I couldn’t decide at first if I was rooting for her ex-boyfriend or her current boyfriend to end up as her HEA. It didn’t take long for me to decide who I was rooting for to win in the end. Lots of adventure keeps the story moving. I was able to finish this book in a single day.
Theodore’s Ring was a fast and interesting read. I enjoyed the main couple, Cam and Lydia, and would have definitely loved to see more Cam instead of Sullivan. I think the story definitely would have benefited from some scenes from Cam’s point of view. I would have loved to get to know him a bit more. All in all, I think a bit more background for Cam and Lydia would have helped flesh out the characters for this story since this is the first story for them. I enjoyed the premise of the book. It is a good book if you want something quick and entertaining.

Theodore’s ring was incredibly twisted. A thrilling story for sure. It started off a little slow but once the story took off boy did it take off. There was so many twists and turns. Normally you can kind of see where the story is going. This one threw some curve balls at me and kept me guessing. Definitely an action packed and adventurous story.

This is an action filled story that easily kept my interest and the pages turning. My only issue with the story is I felt like I was dropped in the middle. Then we are given information after the fact. Some of that us fine as it adds to the suspense and mystery. I enjoyed the characters. A few of them are really realistic in their description of issue they had and I could almost see and feel the ickiness of them. That was very well done by the author. To make the reader feel that about those couple characters.
Overall this is a good quick read. I enjoyed the action and suspense plus I enjoy jungle themed stories because anything can happen. I could easily see reading more stories from this author.

Theodore’s Ring by Stacy-Deanne – Review by Jenny See
This is my first book by this author. I really enjoyed this story. It was full of action and adventure, with a few twists thrown in. The story was written well with a nice flow to it. Lydia’s boyfriend has been kidnapped and she has to go into the jungle to save him and faces many obstacles along the way, including her ex-boyfriend who’s helping her through the jungle, and some strangers along the way. Can she survive the harshness of the jungle and save Cam? Give it a read and find out!

This is a fast-paced read, literally non-stop the whole way through. Poor Lydia. She is tested right from the start. When her boyfriend is kidnapped by the enemy, she will stop at nothing to get him back. The mission? Deliver the ring in exchange for her boyfriend’s life. Lydia dives in headfirst, stopping at nothing to save Cam. But she soon realises this is not a mission for one person. I enjoyed this story. The action-packed drama and writing style means I flew through it. There were plenty of surprises (for both the reader and the characters) along the way. To be honest, I didn’t love all of the characters, and the story lost me occasionally along the way. But if you are looking for a romance book with a lot of action and drama, this is a bit different from your standard read.

Lydia is a young lady who is in love. However, when her boyfriend is kidnapped by a ruthless man she puts her life in danger for her love. Working with her ex to find her new lover and say his life is hard. Then some unexpected twist came into play. Lydia is strong and independent. Cam well he’s devious and cheeky but I like his character. What a twist I can’t wait to see more of these.

I was drawn in and curious how this story was going to play out. The twists and turns weren’t expected and kept this entertaining. But i will say I didnt care for the ending but thats just me.

I was surprised by all the twists and turns the author threw out for the characters and that made it to where it was impossible for me to put it down. I HAD to know what was coming next. I’m excited to discover more work by this author! (: Y’all should read this one!

This book didn’t quite live up to the action packed adventure that the blurb had me looking forward to but I still did enjoy reading it. There is still a fair bit of action in it, enough to keep me entertained and wanting to see how the story panned out. I have to say that I hate Sullivan from the very beginning and I thought Lydia should have been more forceful in trying to push him away. I did like Lydia and Cam and was rooting for Lydia to complete her task and be reunited with Cam. I did enjoy reading Lydia’s trek through the jungle, facing danger and putting up with the awful Sullivan. I have to say that I really did not expect the twist and turn that the story took. That really was a huge surprise for me. The author has said that she may write more about Cam and Lydia’s adventures in the future and I’d definitely like to read more about this couple. I would recommend this story.

The book is full of twist and turns which makes it quite exciting to read. This was a really good read! Fast paced and definitely a page turner! I have read books by this author previously so knew her writing was engaging and she definitely had my attention with this one! Lydia was a fun character to read about and I felt like I was with her at times as she battled to save her boyfriend. The authors imaginative writing really came through in this story and the humour that was interjected made the story better to read. This is only a short read and to be honest I would have happily had read a longer version of it. Overall, a great read and one that I would recommend to others!

Not the triangle romance I was expecting, I went through the book wanting to slap every single man including Lydia’s boyfriend Cam. After Cam gets kidnapped, it’s Lydia that has to come to the rescue. Trekking through the jungle and searching for a hidden ring, I’m not sure what’s more dangerous: the perils of the jungle or the men in the jungle. She is a strong woman, and despite a few errors in judgment, she’s a woman men want and women want to be. An interesting plot keeps the pages turning and an incident with a snake will be keeping me out of any and all jungles.

Lydia is a young woman who is in love, but when her boyfriend Cam is kidnapped by Efrain, a ruthless man with nothing to lose, his demands are that she retrieves Theodore’s Ring and deliver it to him within seven days, or he will kill Cam and bury him in the jungle. As Lydia is confronted by a masked man who passes this terrifying message onto her, all she can think about is whether he is safe and demands to speak with him before she does anything else, this is when she finds out that Cam has asked Sullivan, an old friend and ex-lover of Lydia’s to help her, she is initially extremely reluctant, but when it is the only condition Cam has, she agrees to it in the end, she will do anything to get him back.
She packs up her things and heads to Casanu as quickly as she can where she meets with Sullivan and despite everything he agrees to help her trek through the jungle and find Theodore’s Ring with her, but her initial misgivings are proven right when he reveals that he has never stopped loving her and intents to use this trip to win her back and so she has to put him straight with a few things, including that what he wants is never going to happen. Meanwhile, they start their journey through humid conditions and closely packed trees and vegetation to retrieve the legendary artefact which it turns out is worth millions of dollars and the reason she is on this mission in the first place.
As the trek goes on, Lydia and Sullivan run into more trouble than they bargained for when three strangers, one of whom rescues her from a close encounter with a King Cobra and between that, battling through the harsh terrain and batting away the unwanted attentions of Sullivan, Lydia begins to realise that she has maybe bitten off more than she can chew with this decision. Will Lydia and Sullivan be able to stay out of trouble long enough to retrieve the ring and rescue Cam, or will they have to dodge more than one bullet to maintain their safety? This is a fantasy adventure full of treasure hunting and danger in a beautiful setting where this fast paced race against time pulls you along with them on this crazy adventure.
Lydia will do anything for the man she loves including going into the jungle to save him after he’s been kidnapped. When Cam’s life is threatened, Lydia must go into the jungle and retrieve Theodore’s Ring. A ring that Cam buried after his fathers death in order to keep it from Efrain. But at least she doesn’t have to do it alone.
Sullivan York is Lydia’s ex-lover and says he’ll do whatever it takes to get her back. No. Matter. What.
So now Lydia is dealing with a crazy man threatening her boyfriend, an obsessed ex, and all the craziness that comes with traveling in the jungle. With a deadline of only a few days, Lydia needs to find the ring and save Cam. And fast.
Theodore’s Ring was a quick, fun read. A great novella that stands alone enough to not feel like you’re missing information by not reading the series that it’s spinning off from. I feel like it could easily become a full length novel about Lydia and Cam and how they got their start. It’s a fun little teaser to get me intrigued about other books from this author and I’ll definitely be checking out more!

But who can help her in comes her ex-boyfriend now Sullivan agrees to help her save Cam? But does Cam have another agenda? Can they save Cam in time? Who will Lydia end up with Cam or Sullivan? Theodore’s Ring by Stacy- Deanne is action paced from beginning to end. Lydia finds that her boyfriend Cam has been kidnapped when she comes home to find a strange man in her home. In order to get Cam back Lydia must retrieve Theodore’s Ring, a priceless heirloom that was once in Cam’s possession. In order to get the ring, Lydia must travel into the Casanu Jungle with the help of her ex, Sullivan. Sullivan agrees to help but only because he is set on winning her back. The twists and turns in this story suck you in and having you waiting to see what happens next. While I really enjoyed the book, I do wish it had been a little longer. There a places in the story were I wish the back story had been a little more developed and that the ending had just a little more, I feel it was a little abrupt. Overall, this was an enjoyable story and worth the read.

Nothing like being thrown right into the water, rather than dipping your toes in. The synopsis of this novel drew my attention but the tension that emanates as soon as you start reading is what captured my focus and had me sitting down for the better part of a day to finish it up. Lydia is clearly a very strong, independent, stubborn woman that will do whatever it takes for the love of her life, Cam, even if it endangers her own life. Enter the ex, Sullivan, who wants nothing more than to convince Lydia she would be better off with him and does not plan on taking no as an answer. Though he is quite pushy, he does seem to be all in to help and protect her as time goes on. There was some lip biting and holding of my breath as the story progressed, goosebumps too!
I had yet to read anything by this author before, but have heard good things from fellow book addicts, and took the leap. I loved the attention to detail, the character development that occurs as the story progresses instead of a full stop to catch the reader up on the goings on, and the adventure/romance aspects that are entwined in this whirlwind of an escape. I for one, will be reading more of her work. If you haven’t read anything by this author yet, I do recommend doing so!

From start to finish this was quite the adventure this author takes readers on. This is a new to me author and I’m really excited to see more. The characters in this story really bring the adventure they’re on to life. Lydia isn’t to be messed with, when she on her mission to be save her guy, I really liked her character build. The storyline is fast paced but not rushed. It’s well written and had me completely hooked. Four stars and highly recommended.
