Mason. Rhyann. This story was definitely one meant for a book! I love it when a book addresses and tells the story of things that happen in real life. While this book was difficult to read as the last one due to the assault and other things it’s a need to read story. While this series i feel like is based on the titans and them falling in love that isn’t what stuck out most to me in this story. Mason wanted justice for these girls. This book was as good as the last 2.

I had to put this book down a few times. It made my stomach hurt, my eyes tear up and heartbreak. It hit home with almost every turn of the page. I have been pregnant nine times and have 4 living children myself. While I didn’t become an addict I still struggle daily with the loss of my babies. Anton and Elsa’s story is incredible from the time it starts until the end of this particular book. They are strong and the love they have for one another is stronger. Anton is Elsa’s rock and vice versa. This book hits on infertility, surrogacy, addiction and trials and errors and bad decisions we as humans make. We are all imperfectly perfect. We are all only human. Love conquered in this book is an example of how the world could be a better place.

This book started off rough like the man was cold rough. Caspian is a man who only uses women, he isn’t one to fall in love or be “tied down”. This book threw me for a turn and brought me to tears. Paisley is a sweet humble girl and it’s just been her and her mom since she was a child. When a tragic accident puts her mom in the hospital and Caspian’s uncle’s health takes a turn for the worst these two bump into each other for the first time in years. You never plan to fall in love, it just happens. Paisley is an artist who earned her way into college and Caspian also worked very hard to get where he is. The two, grown up now live in separate worlds. I loved this book and Caspian and Paisley’s story.

Rhyann Ward, a Midwest girl next door type with aspirations of becoming a dancer, meets one of the Titans of New York, Mason Steele at a nightclub. Wow, what a romance! It’s steamy, it’s sexy, and a little bit of sweet, mixed in with some uncomfortable situations for Rhyann. I can honestly say I had a hard time putting the book down to do things I needed to do. I really enjoy the Titans of Manhattan series of books. Getting to know these Titans and reading about how each of them finds love. The characters and scene descriptions make it a very enjoyable book to read.

This book is less of a romance and more of a coming into yourself book. There is a romance aspect of it but most of its about the battle of your inner self. Anton and Elsa are both in love with each other but each have their vices, one acting and after a sad turn of events the other turns to drugs. Will they be able to save themselves before they ruin their love for each other? Great writing like always has an awesome storyline.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Titans of Manhattan Series is an amazing series. Each book is getting better. We get to hear each Titans story. Kristopher and Alessia is this book and you might remember Alessia from earlier in the series.
Alessia isn’t new to the Titans world. She thought she got away from all that after her past, but that doesn’t seem to be the path she is taking. Alessia is starting a new job and guess who she’ll be working with Kristopher. The quote I chose for Alessia is: “Right now, you seem to be quite the gentleman. They say first impressions are everything, and I’m just sorry I haven’t made a better one on you. I—”
Kristopher doesn’t always seek out women, but he can’t help it when it comes to Alessia. Going through a nasty divorce is one thing, but it’s different when it involves kids. Now he’s working for the promotion of a lifetime. Can he get it all or will he lose it all? The quote I chose for Kristopher is: “It’s a court ordered arrangement where we live apart and lead separate lives. The only reason we didn’t get an actual divorce to begin with was because of the children.”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.
This the first book of the series. It’s also the first one I read by Anise. In the beginning I found Caspian to be a total douche bag mostly because how he treats women. But somehow he managed to capture my heart a little bit when running into an old friend who was down on her luck, Paisley. While both MC’s are introduced in the first book in the series Conveniently Yours, you do not need to read it in order to read this one. I was as addicted to this one as the first in the series. Anton Kingston is not only one of the hottest moves stars he is one of Manhattans Titans. After finding love with real estate mogul Elsa Fiitzgerald life is perfect and they are ready for their happily ever after. After a devastating loss but Elsa and Anise struggle with how to move forward and what exactly their happily ever after is going to look like. This book does discuss substance abuse, infertility, and loss.

I devoured this book and immediately went on to the rest of the Titans. The third book in the Titan of Manhattan series, and wow: I found it almost impossible to put down. The Titan we follow this time is Mason Steele, who owns and oversees nightclubs. Surrounded by beauty and women constantly, his rule is that he does not mix business and pleasure; he will not date or sleep with those he employs. Rhyann is dreaming of making it big on the dance stage, securing a full scholarship to the college of her dreams. Moving out and leaving behind her small town and family she realises that studying and living needs money to survive. Alongside her roommate they audition at the Vault as dancers. A club that they frequented before and Rhyann had had a one night stand with a mysterious man. Things get worse when her grades start to suffer and news spread that Rhyann is working at the club. This story touches on the devastating trigger points of miscarriage and infertility. Like the previous member of the Titans (Caspian) Anton is foot loose and fancy free, money is no object and fame has brought him notoriety. His money cannot but happiness without heartache. He meets his match in Elsa Fitzgerald who is a career orientated strong woman. We follow their relationship and observe it grow, love is amazing, everyone is happy. Until they are not: Pregnancy is never easy especially when your husband is married to his career. Things are thrown off of kilter when Elsa loses her baby then fights after to find like many do that it is an infertility issue, stress and emotions run high in this book. Relationship stress and the emotional rollercoaster take you on the ups and downs that many of us face. An emotional read that may not suit everyone but rest assured they get their Happy Ever After.

The first book in the series Titans of Manhattan, we meet Caspian Archer, one of the four most eligible bachelors of the area. After a very sad and abusive early childhood is taken in by his uncle and moved into the upper echelons of the Manhattan society. He literally bumps into his childhood friend Paisley, who herself is struggling to pay for her mother’s hospital care on top of rent and life itself. There seems no way out until she is literally knocked backwards. Can they work it together so they both have a marriage of convenience for a set period of time? All is not as it seems and every fairytale has a villian or a dark side and our folks are no exception to the rule . Sometimes life has to bring us to our knees , to humble us to make us realise what we have , wake up and smell the roses grab life and love , live and love it , every day is a gift and should be treated as such .
This was a hard read for me and there were a few triggers that one should be aware of . It was a real and real read and I almost don’t want to share their story and all they’ve been through . I cried hard but loved even harder ❣️

Ms. Anise Storm is back again with the second book to the Titans of Manhattan Series. She has quickly become one of my favorited authors. She had me curled up in my bed with my bed reading this. I had to be far enough away from everyone to read this amazing book. Anton Kingston was one of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs, he has everything he ever imagined. A career, fame, fortune; he is sought after worldwide, and at the height of his stardom. His personal life has also aligned, and he finally has the things he’s wanted for a lifetime. Elsa Fitzgerald was raised in New York City’s high society, she has landed herself one of the Titans, and things couldn’t be better. Elsa is one of the most successful real estate agents in the entire city, and has the devotion of one of Hollywood’s leading men. All that’s missing is the two things she desires above all else. This is the first book in the Titans od Manhattan series by the author Anise Storm. Conveniently, this is the first book that I have read from this author, and I was not disappointed. The authors style of writing is very unique and interesting. She was able to transport me into her world she was creating and have the power to have her readers feel all of the emotions the characters are experiencing. Caspian Archer can only accomplish those two paramount tasks that will he secure his inheritance. What he needs is someone willing to agree to an arrangement of convenience and spare him the emotional ties of settling down. Paisley Fischer was evicted and broke, she didn’t think things could get worse. Then… they did. With her mother in a coma, and the insurance benefits running out, Paisley will soon be strapped with the financial responsibility of her care. She has no idea how she’s going to provide for both of them until a childhood friend comes to her with an unconventional offer. All she has to do is pretend to be happily married, but a lot can change in 365 days. I’m excited to see what the author has instore for this series.

I absolutely love this author and her ability to make one want to feel the love that vibrates off these pages. I have enjoyed getting to know the Titans of Manhattan thus far, and I have to say, the fact that Mason has made it his life’s goal to provide the women that work for him safe and protected in their lifestyle is incredibly inspiring and though it’s a work of fiction, the way that he does so makes me so happy. I know that in real life it’s still quite difficult to find a spot where you are well taken care of in that line of work and not have to worry about one’s personal safety.
I also love that Rhyann proves that just because women elect to work in that line of work doesn’t mean that they don’t have a side story and that being a dancer is hard, in all aspects of the job/lifestyle/career. What really made me smile was the way in which Rhyann and Mason come together and show their vulnerable side, at first with difficulty, and then the way it just comes naturally. Read to find out how naturally it comes! I very much look forward to the rest of this series, as these stories just seem to get better and better. Well done!

The Titans of Manhattan series does not disappoint with this 4th installment. This book is an easy read and a page turner. It takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. The main characters met in high school and a bet led to a series of events that unfolded both good and bad. 10 years later, they see each other again with a job on the line. Can they overcome what happened in high school that changed the trajectory of events for them? Can the hurt ever go away? When the female lead thought she had overcome everything that had transpired just to see the male lead and realize she wasn’t as over things as she thought. This book is really well written and the angst, family issues, torture, secrets and love will have you reading all the way through the night. You want to see what will happen and you become physically and emotionally involved in the progress of the characters. Don’t get me wrong there will be times that you are mad like spitting nails mad but it doesn’t last that long. Reviewed by @bbohls

This is the third book in this series and I feel like each one gets better and better. This book takes you on an adventure. What happens when you have a ballerina take to pole dancing? You get one of the biggest guys in New York to take notice. What happens from there……a bunch of things. There is steam in this book!! What happens when that beautiful dancing girl is the girl you happen to have a one night stand with? Guys, this book is amazing!! It is a very easy read. You will find that you are constantly turning pages just to see what happens next. I got embarrassed when the characters did. I got angry, sad, flustered. It was awesome. It also has some triggering sequences in it but I feel the author has been respectful of the situations and did their best to portray a difficult situation for anyone to go through. I highly recommend reading this book and the whole series.

Wow! What a raw, emotional read from Anise Storm! It is my favorite of the series so far!
I liked this book for so many reasons, but it was a bit different in that Anton and Elsa were already together and had their fairytale romance in the beginning, before life threw them a curveball and that fairytale started unraveling.
Elsa was Anton’s real estate agent trying to find him a penthouse, and it was pretty much love at first sight. Elsa couldn’t believe that one of Hollywood’s sexiest actors was in love with her, but she threw caution to the wind and reached for her happily ever after. All she wanted now was to give him children. Then, life would be perfect. But, everyone knows that life is never perfect, and these two are getting ready to discover that in a most painful way.
Neither one of them was perfect, even though Elsa was raised to believe she could create the perfect life by being the perfect wife. Think about it, her husband is in an industry that creates that illusion. When that dream of hers is crushed, she falls hard and makes some choices that threaten the very soul of her marriage.
Storm ripped my heart out at times. Elsa’s pain was palpable. I could feel it deep in my bones. At times, I was angry at Anton for using his job to run away from their problems, but people deal with tragedy in all different sorts of ways. As Storm tore my heart to pieces, she tenderly put it back together again. Wonderful, emotional story!!!

This is the book that started it all and made me fall in love with Anise Storm!
I always love a good fake romance book, and this one exceeded my expectations. Caspian is a man of great privilege, and he can have anything he wants at his fingertips. Yet, he has worked hard in his uncle’s company, hoping one day to take over. Unfortunately, that may be coming quicker than he wanted when he discovers his uncle is dying, and to top it off, he has thrown a wrench in his plans. He wants Caspian to settle down and get married if he wants to inherit the company. In addition, he has to stay married a year. Caspian desperately needs someone to marry him for convenience not love.
Paisley is in dire straits. She is broke, and her mother is in a coma. She has no clue what she is going to do to get out of the darkness she is in. As luck would have it, that light at the end of the tunnel comes in the form of Caspian. The two have a chance encounter at the hospital and recognize each other from childhood. As they catch up with one another, Caspian thinks he has found his perfect wife, even if for just a year.
Caspian, like most of his other friends, wants no emotional attachments. He has no intention whatsoever of developing feelings for Paisley. And, that is why it was so enjoyable watching her bring him to his knees.
Storm was a new author to me, and I’m so glad I discovered her. Her books are well-written, and she does a great job of balancing steam and emotion. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series.

Seductively Yours by Anise Storm is the 3rd book in The Titans of Manhattan Series. It’s now Mason’s turn to share his story of falling in love unexpectedly, and as usual, Storm makes it unforgettable.
Mason, like his friends, is enormously sexy and successful. He owns one of the hottest clubs in Manhattan. Life is pretty good for him. He has any woman he wants, and he has plenty of them, just never ones who work for him in his club.
Rhyann has stars in her eyes, moving to New York with dreams of becoming a dancer. She is well on her way to realizing that dream since she just managed to secure a place at Blackburn Dance Academy, but her illusions start to dim when she realizes she needs a job to be able to afford to stay at school. Her scholarship money only goes so far. Thankfully, her roommate helps her find a job in Mason’s club.
Mason and Rhyann have no idea of the surprise that awaits them…she happens to be the hot hookup and latest one night stand from a few nights ago! Awkward indeed since neither one of them can forget that night! He’s drawn to her but knows he can’t break his own rules, but that doesn’t stop him from wanting her.
As with Storm’s other novels, this isn’t just about the sex. There is a lot of substance going on underneath the surface. As the two fight their feelings for one another, Rhyann experiences something that threatens to upend not only a chance with Mason but a chance to finally realize her dream she has worked so hard for.
If you love your books with raw emotion, sexy alpha males, and a determined heroine, you can’t go wrong with this one.

This is the third book in the Titans series. I am totally invested in this series. I love how each book is intertwined with the next. The author’s attention to detail when it comes to connecting each book, yet each book centers on a different member of the Titan click. This is what keeps me coming back for the next book. I will say that this book, I felt, did concentrate more on the build-up to the relationship than the actual relationship. This was the steamiest and hottest of the books. Rhyann is a strong woman who is following her dream of dancing professionally. She leaves her slower pace life in Kanase for the busy streets of Manhatten where she will be enrolled in one of the best dance schools. Rhyann is in for a hard awakening when she realizes she can afford her dream unless she starts making money. The one night she decides to step out of her comfort zone and let lose will be the night that changes her life forever. Some good and some not so good will come from that night. The owner of a few adult nightclubs in various states, Mason makes the rule to never get involved with one of his dancers. He could have any female and has had his share of hookups but the one night he walks into Vault he has no clue who that gorgeous female is that is hanging out with Allie Porter. He’s never seen her before. Little did Mason know that was going to be the night his world would be flipped upside down. Great book, love the author and can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I had been looking forward to this book as soon as I saw which Titan was going to fall next and it did not disappoint.
Though Mason wasn’t a feature character in the first books there was something about him that intrigued me. I just knew when he finally fell he was going to do it hard and fast.
Rhyann ended up bring so different from the girl we were introduced to in the beginning. I loved watching her evolve throughout the story and discovering who she was.
This book was hard to put down for me. I found myself thinking about the story even when I wasn’t reading it and after I was done.

This is a wonderful adult book that is part of a series, yet stands alone Beautifully. We have the strong yet vulnerable Rhyann Ward as our female lead and Mason Steele or Manly male lead. Both of these characters have traumatic incidences in the story, yet these aren’t defining story points that define our characters. It’s refreshing that our female lead who ends up as an Exotic dancer, doesn’t do so because she’s jaded from some character defining trauma or tragedy. While the sex scenes are steamy, the story is still solid and the love story aspect is solid without falling into the trap of being to soap opera sappy or pathetic. This is a solid well-rounded story that stands on its own while leaving you wanting to read about the rest of the Titans of Manhattan. I look forward to delving into this Manhattan that Anise Storm has spun and seeing what comes next.
