Kris & The Missing Prince (The Adventures of Kris) by Art Blegen – Review by Toni Sellers

Kris & The Missing Prince: The Adventures Of KrisKris & The Missing Prince: The Adventures Of Kris by Art Blegen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Not every girl wants to be a princess, some girls want to the knight. Another wonderful Adventure with Kris. My grand kids love to read about Kris and her adventures, and this one was a hit. So well written that it is easy enough for young readers to follow along but enjoyable for the kids and for the adults. The illustrations are great. Filled with Magic, gnomes, fairies, elves and more. I love that it encourages kids to use and explore their imaginations. Also, the importance of friendships and family. I think it’s perfect for 6-10 yr. olds.

Queen of the Fairies by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Toni Sellers

Queen of the FairiesQueen of the Fairies by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Queen of Fairies is another wonderful children’s book by Lois Wickstrom, I just love reading them to my grandkids, they always enjoy them and learn a little something to. I would say age up to 4. The illustrations are beautiful and so colorful. This is all about fairies, and how fun it would be to be the queen of the fairies and to write a book about either good fairies or bad fairies.

Stop that Lion (Kingdom of Mir Series) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Toni Sellers

Stop That Lion: A Tale of Friendship Love and Peace (Kingdom of Mir)Stop That Lion: A Tale of Friendship Love and Peace by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stop That Lion
What a cute book to read with the grandkids, we have become big fans of Lois Wickstrom. I love that each book has a hidden message that helps the kids learn a little extra about friendship and understanding and to always be willing to listen.

The Kingdom of Sher and The Kingdom of Mir are good neighbors, but there is one problem and that is a lion. Winnie maybe just a little girl but she has a great idea to help fix the lion problem but will the King listen?

This book is so cute. The illustrations are fantastic. I read it with my grandkids and my 3 year old granddaughter and her big brother and I laughed and giggled throughout the whole book. It is just adorable and so entertaining. All the characters are great and as always with Lois Wickstrom’s book there is a great message of friendship and forgiveness.

Amese of Animalis is the first book in The Borosa Legacy.
A wonderfully written fun fantasy book for your middle aged (10-14) experienced reader. Its full of magic, adventure, and action, mystery and so very much more.
Amese, who bears the birthmark of Borosa is about to begin an epic adventure, as she is to become a guardian. So many wonderful characters and creatures, all are well devolped. My grandson is 11 and he really loved this book. We can’t wait for book #2.

The Better Man (Silver Buckle Brides, #2)

A heartwarming romance so full of hope, hurt, forgiveness, tragedy, healing and so much more that you just don’t want to put it down, it sucked me right in from the beginning.
Jamie and Laramee (I love her name) are two broken souls who have so faced so much tragedy in their past and have so much to overcome. How will they find a way together, you will have to read it to find out.
This book is so well written, and sets off all the feelers, you don’t want to miss out on this series..

Kris &The Pirates: The Adventures of Kris
This was the perfect adventure book for young readers, 6-12 years old. My grandson is almost 11 and he enjoyed it. It is a story within a story, that takes Kris on an exciting adventure filled with pirates and treasure, friendship, action and more.
The book will also help your young reader with overcoming fear, being brave and with accepting challenges. This is a series of books but can definitely be read as standalones.

Finders Keepers, Cowboy (Match Made in Montana Series) by Rachelle Paige Campbell – Review by Toni Sellers

Finders Keepers, Cowboy (Match Made in Montana #1)Finders Keepers, Cowboy by Rachelle Paige Campbell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finders Keepers, Cowboy is the first in The Match Made in Montana series, and this book did not disappoint. It was very refreshing to read a clean, small town frenemies romance. I felt like this would be a great Hallmark movie. I love a slow build romance. The descriptive parts of Montana were fantastic. The main characters Meg and Ryan (and others) were very well written, both relatable and likeable. They both have a lot to overcome to find each other. Maybe a few nudges from Grandpa, who may be grumpy, but he ended up being my favorite. I enjoyed this book a lot and cannot wait to get my hands on the next one.

Mistaken Identity (London Detective Agency Series) by Stephanie R. Caffrey – Review by Toni Sellers

Mistaken Identity (London Detective Agency Book 1)Mistaken Identity by Stephanie R. Caffrey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mistaken Identity is a debut novel and is fantastic!! London Detective Agency book 1.
This is a fast-paced suspense with a budding romance, that will have you hooked right away.
Evelyn is going to travel abroad to start a new chapter and at the airport she gets way more than she bargained for as she bumps into Megan who happens to look a lot like Evelyn, and they end up grabbing each other’s travel bags. Now Evelyn is in a big mess. Lots of twists and turns, full of danger secrets, hate, lies, fear, betrayal, greed, revenge and a little romance. All of the characters are very well written and likeable. I highly recommend this book.
