Straight for the Kill (Benoit and Dayne Mystery Book 3) by Winter Austin – Review by Toni Sellers

Straight for the Kill (Benoit and Dayne Mystery, #3)Straight for the Kill by Winter Austin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 3 in this series, but I feel it could be read as a standalone. Yet I do recommend the first 2 books. Wonderfully written, gripping police crime thriller that you won’t want to put down. Lots of good twists and turns, keep you on the edge of your seat book. Mystery, murder, vengeance and suspense all the makings of a great book. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

This book was very good and definitely kept my attention from page one. It was a lot, so intense, creepy and twisted. I will say it’s very dark and has some very touchy subjects in it, extreme dysfunctional family, violence and manipulation. Lots of twists and turns. I do recommend this book..

Whispers in the Waters (Blood of the Fae) by Sarah Chilson – Review by Toni Sellers

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book, well written fantasy novella. It is a prequel to her new series Blood of the Fae. It’s an easy read with a fantastic writing style. Set in historical Victorian times. It’s very descriptive in world building and to get you set up for more to come.
