Web of Evil (Hani’s Daughter Mysteries) by N.L. Holmes – Review by Toni Sellers

Web of Evil (Hani's Daughter Mysteries Book 2)Web of Evil by N.L. Holmes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Web of Evil is another great mystery in Hani’s daughter Mysteries, even though this is book 2 you could definitely read it as a standalone. I love the glossary, historical notes and character list, it does come in handy.
All of the characters are very well written and likeable. This is set in Ancient Egypt, a nice cozy historical drama full of murder, danger, secrets, drama, lies, suspense and a whole lot more to keep you hooked from the beginning.

Mermaid Tails by Suzanna Lynn – Review by Toni Sellers

Mermaid TailsMermaid Tails by Suzanna Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mermaid Tails
My granddaughter wants to be a mermaid (who doesn’t) and this book was absolutely perfect.
The illustrations are beautiful, and it helped her to stay engaged. Each page has a Fun Fact to learn a tidbit on Marine life. Letting their imaginations grow, with mermaid tails. What types of mermaids there might be and what types of tails they might have. I definitely recommend this book to anyone with the love of mermaids and the ocean.

Charming Chapter (Boomer Babes Book Club Romances) by Lori Haas – Review by Toni Sellers

Charming Chapter : A Later-in-Life Just Kisses Romance (Boomer Babes Book Club Romances 1)Charming Chapter : A Later-in-Life Just Kisses Romance by Lori Haas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Charming Chapter is a wonderfully written romance, with big bonus points because it is a second chance later in life romance. As a 50-year-old woman it is very refreshing to read books in my own age range. The characters are all likable and easy to relate to and nicely developed. This book will take you on a journey with self-discovery, you may think about your own relationships, a bit of drama and love and even some laughs. It is a fun quick read, and I can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book.

The Changed Man Audio Book (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Toni Sellers

The Changed Man Book 4 in The Olympic Peninsula series.
Well, I was so excited to see that there was a book four and hope for more. I have loved each and every book in this series and yes, I do think you could read this as a standalone, but why? You will love them all. I have enjoyed the details that the author has put into this book as for the fact that I LIVE in Port Townsend and have for my whole life, so these seem to have a special connection for me. Very well written contemporary romance and all the characters are in some way intertwined, another reason you should read them all. The characters are interesting and fun to get to know them all. The family dynamics can be very relatable. Lots of emotion, drama, love, family, angst, and friends all fast paced enough to keep you engaged and wanting more.
I can’t recommend this book and the others in this series enough.

The Hidden Present (Invisible Magic Wand) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Toni Sellers

The Hidden Present (Invisible Magic Wand)The Hidden Present by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Hidden Present is part of the Invisible Magic Wand series,
My grandkids really enjoy reading of Caspian’s adventures. This being book number eight they were excited to see what Caspian and Grandpa were up to.
It is time for Caspian’s Un-Birthday again, but this time something is different, his present from Grandpa is not in his usually spot and now he will have to search for it.
As with the others this book has very colorful illustrations, full of fun, adventure all good for the imagination with some nice little lessons also.
I think kids 3-6 will enjoy this book.

Critical Care (Chase Care Series Book 6) by R.L. Dunn – Review by Toni Sellers

Critical Care (Chase Care Book 6)Critical Care by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a fast-paced page turning, romantic suspense medical thriller. Book six in The Chase Care series. You could absolutely read this as a standalone, but I would definitely recommend all of the books as not only are the very well written, but some of the characters which are very well thought out are reoccurring. This happens to be Tim and Willow’s story and will not disappoint. Full of action, drama, medical jargon, emotions and so much more.
