Midnight Deception: Later-in-Life Romantic Suspense (Lone Wolf Heroes Series) by India Kells – Review by Toni Sellers

Midnight Deception: Later-in-Life Romantic Suspense (Lone Wolf Heroes Book 1)Midnight Deception: Later-in-Life Romantic Suspense by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I do love a good Later-in-Life book, especially a romantic suspense one. As a woman in her own Later-in Life era it is so refreshing to be able to relate to the characters. Midnight Deception did not disappoint. So well written that you easily fall in love with the characters and luckily this is book one so more to come is a huge plus. Fast paced and full of all the good stuff, lies, suspense, secrets, tension and throw in some danger, it’s a little sexy and dark. Like I said it just has all the right stuff. Definitely don’t miss out on this one.

Knight On Edge (Jorja Knight Mystery Series) by Alice Bienia – Review by Toni Sellers

Knight On Edge: A female detective mystery (Jorja Knight Mystery Series Book 7)Knight On Edge: A female detective mystery by Alice Bienia
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book seven in The Jorja Knight Mystery series, and it does not disappoint. They just keep getting better and better. Jorja is a private detective, and I think she is pretty bada$s. She has become one my favorite heroines. You could read this and the others as a standalone, but why? Fast paced, great characters and realistic. If you love good murder mysteries full of suspense, danger, lies, secrets, adventure and so much more then this is for you.

Detective Dylan and the Thief of Camp Leaf (A Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series) by MJ Murray – Review by Toni Sellers

Detective Dylan and the Thief of Camp Leaf (A Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series 3)Detective Dylan and the Thief of Camp Leaf by M.J. Murray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 3 in The Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series.
Detective Dylan is back again along with his sister Emily and Theodore the dog. Since they never go anywhere without Dylan’s Detective kit, they have another mystery to solve.
My grandkids love these books and as a parent/grandparent, I love how educational these chapter books are. Finding books that will keep them interested can sometimes be a challenge, but these are perfect. The bonus material is a big plus, there are QR codes, and one is for some downloadable ELA/math activities. Very easy to read and some great illustrations to keep little ones interested.

Heaven Only Knows (A Silver Buckle Romance Series Book 3) by Laurie Lewis – Review by Toni Sellers

HEAVEN ONLY KNOWS (A Silver Buckle Brides Romance Book 3)HEAVEN ONLY KNOWS by Laurie Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heaven Only Knows is book three in the Silver Buckle Brides series, and this is Barrett’s story.
A very well written clean Contemporary romance, that can be a standalone, but why would you want to miss out on one of the seven Brockbank brothers? Set in New Orleans this sweet love story will pull your heart right in. I have enjoyed each book so far and look forward to picking up more. I do enjoy a good clean romance, and it is a nice change and can be hard to find. Full of hope, pain, mystery, forgiveness, secrets, friendships and more. I can’t recommend these books enough. Perfect in this chilly weather to grab a blanket and curl up with.
