Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost to Love Book 1) by Hazel Storm Review By Beverly Finnie

Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost To Love, #1)Remember to Forget Me by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was drawn into Forget to Remember Me by the music aspect. Not because the main male character was a popstar, but because of my love for music and how the author presents the theme throughout. Music is a powerful thing and should be admired, appreciated, and respected for what it is. Those who can successfully make music are geniuses in their own right. For those reasons and those reasons alone that’s why I was drawn to and absolutely loved this book. I’m not overshadowing the bullying factor and theme but it’s the music theme that captured me. It was hook, line, & sinker, I didn’t have a chance.
Wesley and Addison were torn apart by a traumatic event that happened when they were in high school. Unfortunately part was due to misunderstandings and circumstances surrounding the incident. 10 years later a chance to start over fresh. Does Addison continue to keep that a safe distance? A love that never died, one she is well aware of, but for Wesley he doesn’t understand it. That only pushes him closer to her. Music brought these two together, bullying tore them apart.
Can music be what brings them back to one another, or will it kill what’s renewed?
Did I forget to mention, I love this author! Not the first book I’ve read and definitely won’t be the last!

Slow start, but stick with it….I promise that it will be worth it! Great story with the focus on lost love, second chances & the path of redemption. Perfect example of how the heart knows it’s mate—even when the brain is slow to catch up!
Years ago, when Addison & Wes were teenagers, they spent their days composing music & falling in love until a traumatic occurrence leaves them both injured & Wesley with no memory of Addison & the love he had for her, resulting in Addison letting Wes go & keeping her distance from him. Fast forward decades later, Wesley is a famous pop star who crossed paths with Addie at a charity event. Wes is immediately drawn to Addison & pursues spending time with her. As their relationship develops could this be their second chance at happily ever after, or will the events that transpired so many years ago continue to keep them apart?
Great start to what will be a phenomenal series!

Addie and Wesley had a past, but it was forgotten by Wesley. Most of his career was thanks to Addie, but he didn’t know. Addie was brought to light when her old songbook was found with their creations. She has to face the past and present with Wesley now. It brings a lot from both sides, and I love books like this. Great story!

Romantic second chances
Love Wes and Addie’s story. On a roller coaster of emotions I finished this book with a big sigh. So much history falls between these two and wading through a decade of miscommunications and lost moments is treacherous. The author’s writing draws you in and kept me vested right through til the end. Brilliant!

They were friends once, but something happened in their younger years to make Wesley forget six months of his life. Addie was blamed for the incident so she kept her distance and watched from afar all these years. She watched as her once best friend finished his schooling and rose to fame with songs they wrote together. A song book that had been published a decade prior is found by Wesley’s team and Addie is sued for plagiarism. Instead of fighting the lawsuit she writes a check to settle the debt and go about her life. Only when she leaves the building she comes face to face with the one person she doesn’t expect to see in the flesh. Will Addie and Wesley be able to overcome their painful past and make new memories? This book was at times an emotional read, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Addie’s first face-to-face encounter with Wes happens after a legal meeting…and it is that moment that she realizes that he does not remember her at all. When they cross paths again, she gives in and spends the night with the one she was in love with years ago. She is unsure they can have a a future if he doesn’t remember…and almost guaranteed they won’t have one if he does remember.

Wes was the victim of a bully attack 10 years ago where he lost a chunk of memory. Meeting Addie is the happiest he has been in years. But, what happens when an unscheduled trip home brings back memories he had forgotten. And who is being honest with him? Who can he trust?

This is a heartfelt story of young love, loss (in various forms), and confronting the past to heal. The story was captivating and held my attention from beginning til end. As the truth began coming out, it seems there was more to the story than either of them remember. You could feel Addie’s heartbreak, Wesley’s confusion and frustration, and the love they both have for each other. A well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

As the doors swing shut, the sexiest voice on the planet chases me through the narrowing gap. “Hey! Excuse me. Do I know you?” Addison runs into Wesley at a legal meeting and realizes he doesn’t remember her after a bad beating he received ten years ago. Sad,she is resolved to go on, but Wes feels she is familiar. The two engage in a journey that takes them down a road that has to be traveled. This is a book that will touch you hard in the emotions. I guarantee you will feel it all. The story is well-written and developed in such a way that a few plot twists thrown in felt normal. These two are very relatable. The only thing I would have hoped for is a snippier line to the new roommate, Charlotte, from Wesley. That chick is messed up and rude. It’s up there as one of the best romance books I’ve read for the year.

Yes yes all the yes! This story was SO good. I was drawn into it by the description and needed to know more. I finished it so quick because it was just that interesting. Remember to Forget Me by Hazel Storm is book one in the proposed Too Lost to Love series. I’m honestly obsessed with this book, so I’m looking forward to any others! Addie was there when Wesley forgot who she was because of a bully. After becoming a pop sensation, Wesley can do and have anything he wants. But he can’t remember six months of his life. So imagine his surprise when this girl he’s never met seems so familiar to him that he needs to know more. After years, they are in one another’s lives again. Is this a sick joke, or fate. Honestly, the twists in this story really got me. Something I truly wouldn’t have predicted. You have to read this book, it really was that good.

I was actually surprised when I got to the end of this and realized who this was by. I expect a lot out of her since I have read previous stories but sadly I was disappointed. The beginning and to about half way seems choppy and disconnected. This is a love at first sight mixed with a bully story. I appreciate that there was not a lot of back and forth in time and was actually told well in that respect.

The characters are ok but they get better in the latter half of the story. I was surprised at the female lead more than once. She seemed to bend and give in very easily. The male lead is a famous pop star but yet has and wants unprotected sex the first time. That seemed weird to me. Both were extremely young when first meeting and it just seemed they would have moved on but fondly remembered each other.

I did enjoy the turmoil and strife that came to light in the near end. There are lots of secrets and hate and discontent that swirl around these two main characters.

Overall I wanted to really like it but sadly I can not. It is an okay story. There is suspense throughout and the characters are built nicely. Not one of my favorites from this author.

Cute read! I couldn’t imagine being friends with someone at a young age and having something devastating happen and your friend no longer remembers you. Then being around that same friend YEARS later. Super quick read for me but I enjoyed every minute of it. I love a good happy ending. Fast paced but still good! Check it out for sure!

This is a really beautiful love story. I was a bit confused at first about the characters as they seemed to have a connection but I couldn’t figure out why, however it all made sense as I carried on reading and it made the feelings and emotions understandable and a lot more realistic.

Addison and Wesley were young sweethearts. What a tragic event happened their were both injured, but Wesley ends up losing his memory of everything. Including his love for Addison.
After the event Addison is forced to cut all contact with him which breaks her heart even more but she does as she has been told. Why does she need to keep her distance?

Fast forward 10 years and they meet again. Wesley has a feeling he knows her, it’s like his heart knows her even though he has no memory of why he feels that way. Addison remembers Wesley all to well and her love for him has never left, so when Wesley asks to spend time with her she agrees.
What will happen if his memory returns? Will they be a happily ever after couple or will things come to light that will make Wesley hate her?
And without side forces working against them do they stand any chance at all?

This is a beautiful story about love, heartbreak, regrets and redemption. If 2 people have been in love, can that love still have survived even without them being aware of it?

This is a love story that started in high school. The beautiful story is wrapped around music. The main characters had their epic love interrupted by violence. They battle their way through memory loss and PTSD. Forgiveness also plays a crucial role in the development of the characters, as well as the time necessary for such healing to occur.

I have loved this author and their works for quite some time now. I always love the books and characters that they create. I was truly sucked into this book. It is a start of a new series, which I know for a fact I will be anxiously awaiting each installment for! This book as a 1st book has already offered a lot on the table!

Addison and Wesley were two characters that had a past, but in the present when they share moments you can feel the electric shocks and attraction that they feel together. That is truly undeniable. I enjoyed the character depth on them both, and I longed so very much to know more, and see where things would go! I loved when remembering their past, it had those memories most of us long to forget, we cant escape them in realistic, but we can grow and survive from them. There was a lot of sexual steamy moments as I read, and I could not get enough! I am already in love with this series /and characters. I can not wait to see where this goes and more character depth! I know I am in for a ride! Loved this book!

This is a stunning new start a new series, and I expect nothing but a sensational series and installments from such a gifted author! I highly recommend this book and this author! Both are must reads!

Ten years ago, my teenage dreams ended with a kiss and a bully’s fist.
The target of a brutal attack, Wesley became lost to me, his mind wiped of the six months we spent together, writing songs and creating a bond that ran soul-deep.
Blamed for the tragedy and forced to remain at a distance, I watched Wesley’s rise to fame as he sang the songs we wrote, the only things he remembered from that lost period of his life.
When a decade-old songbook I published comes to light, accusations fly that I’m a plagiarist, stealing Wesley’s lyrics.
What a joke.
But after facing down his lawyer, I wipe clean a personal debt and make a quick exit.
Only I don’t get far. Because Wesley is outside, waiting.
His mind may have forgotten me, but as soon as our eyes meet, something in him recognizes something in me.
The chemistry between us is explosive, and I can’t resist the moth-to-flame tug into his world — even if it’s only for one night.
This could be our second chance… Unless his instant attraction means his memories are returning.
And if they do…
He’ll wish he’d remembered to forget me.
