A really interesting intriguing start to the series. We follow Jasmine, Blake and Lucy, what do you do when you find yourself dating your fated mates best friend.
Jasmine always follows the rules and is waiting for her fated mate to be joined in the temple. Her dreams and hard work are brought to an emotional precipice.
Blake finds himself dating Lucy even when trying to decide whether to go with his fated or his chosen mate, he cannot seem to stay away from either, and this causes a lot of emotional upset issues with both females.
Lucy is Jasmine’s best friend and has her sights set on being Blakes chosen mate. And she will not think twice about using underhand tactics, or throwing her best friend under the proverbial bus to get what she wants.
Friendships are put under stress and true characters are shown. Love, Lust, Desire, Heartache, all rolled into one. A fast paced book with an emotional story which leaves you wanting to know what happens next.

Yet another 5* read from this author, as the others in this series the links and character development continue to weave a web pulling everyone closer. The emotional rollercoaster continues, touching again on the darker side of human nature.
Vixen is dragged back into a past that she has tried so hard to move on from, a call for help and that is what the MC is all about helping those that need it. Prostitution, Abuse and trafficking are all hidden in plain sight. And it is these that Vixen is trying to leave in the past alongside a strong individual that she hoped not to have to bring in.
Again the Devils Handmaidens come together with Tank and his men, Panther and his, and the guys from Ollies Ranch, Ironside is called in but can he step up and face the history that is there.
The world that is being built around these characters continues to consume this reader and I cannot wait to read more.
The third book in this series that I have read in a row and I am in awe of how the author continues to keep their multi character development and world building as on spot as they do. We have constant input from Tink and her badass MC, Tank and his MC and family, the GRim Wolves MC, Panther and his men, and Ollie and his veterans ranch. Everyone has an important part to play in these books.
Taz the accountant and her autistic son are once again dragged into the past when Taz’s ex makes an appearance alongside his white supremasist militia. Taz has a dark and painful past including loss of her sons father and abuse, she has found her place in the Devils Handmaidens MC, where the MC family truly come into their own.
Enforcer or Travis to Taz goes from their on off relationship to fully blown away by his feelings for the brightly coloured semi hippy bike riding badass that is Taz, when he discovers her past and understands how strong she is to have survived he becomes more protective. Again mentions of abuse, supreme race , death and surviving are all involved and mentioned. WE are starting to build a picture of the world and how the underworld works and is linked in this world that is being built by the author.
Another amazing read from the author, following the lives of those in the Devils Handmaidens MC, like the others written the book links very closely with others in the same world that DM describes so vividly.
Shadow enforcer for the MC has many demons from her past and as you get further through the book it becomes obvious just how deep and dark some of those demons are.
Abduction, human trafficking and abuse all are mentioned.
Introduce Panther and his men to the mix and the relationship between Panther and Shadow is one that is so involved on so many levels that you cannot hope for a happy ending.
The other members of the MCs continue to make very bold appearances and the character development continues, the depth of human depravity of trafficking, selling, slavery, and race supremacy all have a hand in making this book gritty and another you cannot put down.

I have read a few books by the author in the past and knew I was in for a read fest with a huge book hangover when I delved into the Devils Handmaidens MC series.
I love the way the author links in characters from previous books whilst bringing to the forefront the main characters of each book.
The continuing character development of previous characters goes hand in hand with the main characters and we get to know them all that little bit more.
In this book we follow Tink the pres of the Devils Handmaidens MC as she continues her fight, her search and the rehabilitation of those that are rescued from some pretty dark places. Dealing with her past, of Rape, abduction and stalkers.
There is a lot of family background that one brought to light only makes you feel more deeply for Tink and her MC of badass ladies.
Noodles ex Navy SEAL is introduced to the fray and we follow their relationship, he has his demons too and alongside the rehab ranch, Tink and her MC and Tank and his MC, with a bit of the Grim Wolves MC this book is one that you cannot put down.
I cannot speak highly enough about this book. We continue in from the cliffhanger of the previous book that leaves you aching to know what happens next. You are not so much lured into this book but dropped into it with all the emotion that you left book 2 with.

We continue to follow Aspen as she now needs to navigate the world with the unknown added suspense of Phenoix’s post accident memory issues.

The family business is brought to the front and ultimatums are issued.
Love, loss, threats, family and friendship are all wrapped up in this story.
Again another well deserved 5 stars. And an author on my list to read more from.
I struggled a little in the beginning. I found the first chapter or two of this book hard to gel with what the author was describing and to visualise the story, but once things clicked I was hooked and needed to see what happened. It may have made more sense if I had read the first two in the series, although once past the start the book is fine as a stand alone.
We follow Rose (chief of the Shadwmaker Clan) and the magic wielders as the shadows return magic to the world. Not only is the struggle with the wielderes but also with the populace as a whole. She hunts for those from her past to help find peace in the present.
King Micah and the war in the South as Roses anchor has his own battles to wage that have little to do with the war.
The world building, both the physical realm and the shadow world are linked and described in depth, the characters all continue to grow and evolve as the world around them changes.
Avery well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed once I was further than the third chapter.
I am ready for more from this author. If you like in depth fantasy and journeys this is the book for you .
This was a real grab ‘em and not let ‘em go read.
Starting the story of Phoenix and Aspen.
New girl, star of the diving team, cliff diver Aspen, is just wanting to keep her head down and get through college, and start her business, keep a low profile where her parents are concerned.
Phoenix the star of the football team is going pro, that’s the plan if he can keep his grades.
Not quite a full on bully romance, but a very on the edge of the genre book, teen pregnancy, hormones running high and behaviours running hot and cold.
I am jumping straight into the next book as it is a need to know situation
An intriguing read, one that keeps you hooked from start to finish. A book that you do not want to put down, don’t blame anyone for the book hangover you will have reading this.

If you like your romance with a healthy dose of suspense and angst then this is definitely a book for you .
The character development with Nic, (ex sniper and now deputy) and Con (detective) is really well handled, taking into account their pasts, triggers, ptsd and their relationships with the other family, friends and members of the town, brings a real life feel to the story

The suspense in the book keeps you wondering what next.
A definite 4.5 out of 5 and I will certainly be looking for more from this author.
And be prepared to read in as few sittings as possible.

We continue to follow Kodiak and Tamaska in theri growing relationship, Tamaskas growth as she comes to terms with what she wants from those around her, if she can really become pack.
The quest for the Blood Opal is still an important part of the story, but it is not as central as in the previous books,

Once again I cannot wait to follow the pack, Tamaska and Kodiak to see what happens next.

I have not read anything by this author before or read the earlier books in this series, and I feel that this book can be read as a standalone if like me you have missed the beginning. Although I am quite sure the previous books would have n=been just as beautifully written and heartfelt as this one.

When political life is not for you, and all you want to do is be home on the ranch looking after your son what can you do to please as many people as you feel you need to. Your daddy who has been beside you and wanted the lifestyle himself, as well as your school sweetheart.

Emotions run high after the death of her husband, and the less than gentlemanly ways of her now fiancé Gabby needs to look at what makes her happy.

An emotional read that takes you by the hand and leads you alongside the characters as they try to find their happy ever after.

I would defiantly read more by this author.

Wow what can I say about this book, it is gritty in its dealings with depression, the dark cloud that Spook is dealing with, the support he receives or should (from some people) also shows how others deal with their loved one and their mental health, and how they deal with the demons that follow from the past. Xane is there throughout the story alongside Spook and Alle.

It is the first book in the series I have read and really, I need to back track and read the other three.

The characters are extremely beautifully written, and they pull you along this extreme rollercoaster ride of a story. I am waiting to read more (after I finish the first few).

Tissues are needed in parts of the book, and some may find the deep areas a little hard to navigate, but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable darkish read.

Another amazing historical cowboy romance from this author.

As well as keeping the characters present from the previous books, we follow Billie Jean as she spends the summer with her cousins, who we met previously Greta Fay and her family.

Not only is Billie Jean is visiting from Los Angeles, where she is one of the few to attend college, so is looked at as a troublemaker by most of the town of Clear Creek County in 1895. But she is related to Greta Fay.

When she meets an elusive man Fisher, she is intrigued but soon finds out he is the supervisor at the farm where many of the men of the county work. Disappointed by this but unable to completely forget him, things get worse when there is arson and misdeeds going on. Can Billie Jean and Fisher survive the issues and come through them for their HEA as well as the rest of the characters who take a step forward like Sue Ann and her issues with Carl.

I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Both have history within the town, And Minnie and Greta Fay are friends with a shared history that neither has confided in. Can Greta Fay and Christopher have their Happy Ever After.

Touching on themes surrounding relationships, interracial relationships, working conditions and romance. The descriptions of the times the book is set in really pulls you in and the characters are diverse

I am lucky to be able to go straight onto another of Stacy’s books.

The second book in the series and it does not disappoint at all.

The author continues to build a world where Tamaska continues to try and retrieve the Blood Opal from the vampires and get over her abject fear of Kodiak and what he is.

Kodiak being rejected must come to terms with the battles ahead, not just to convince Tamaska that they are meant to be but also the battle with the Vampires and that the head Vampire also has eyes on his mate.

Discontent in the pack, blood and death make more than one appearance in this continuation from the first book, completely all-encompassing and keeps you on edge as you are taken further into the world that Lilliana has built for us. The character growth is intricate, as we follow more than one characters emotions. How more than one species can have a hold over the main female character adds another level to the story.

Thank you for sharing your words and I cannot wait to move on with book three.

A well written romantic suspense with a hint of thriller thrown in to keep you hooked.
Keira finds herself concerned about what she sees as a prank that develops into stalking and goes further: with military family ties she is not someone to be intimidated.
Cade the new neighbour Ex Navy Seal is interested in his unshakable neighbour, but she seems to come with a whole truck load of baggage, little do they know that the prank / stalker is a whole different level and the company Keira works with is not as it seems either.
A book that keeps you on the edge of your seat as you hope for a positive outcome.

Book 4 in the amazing The Shadow Chronicles series and again it does not disappoint. The Author concentrates on Kimber (Tashas younger sister) in this book and we follow Kimber as she recovers from her time in the harem of her previous coven leader, and as she starts to find herself she meets Fabien.
The witches still search for the second elemental sorceress, Tasha and Levi continue to win slowly against the hellspawn, but there is more to it than they think.
Fabien brings a whole new level of intricate back story to the series.
This author has managed to keep me hooked through all four books so far. Another 5* from me.
Thankyou for sharing your words.
How can a series continue to pull you in as this one is. Book 3 and still adding more to the story that keeps you hooked.
Lycans, Vampires, Witches, Sorceresses, Hybrids, and things from the Realms of Hell.
The characters continue to grow and their relationships as diverse as they are continue to grow.
The different species continue to work together and fight each other, the new witches, looking for their sorceress seem to not be as open to things as they could be.
Tasha and Levi continue to develop and their families are brought more to the forefront, special gifts that were hidden are brought out as people escape from tyrants that are amongst them.
Another 5* read.
The second book in the series and I cannot say how much I have completely fallen in love with these books.
We continue with Tasha and Levi as their relationship continues to grow and expand, encompassing more of their family, friends and units. They are still at war, but what are they fighting?
WE are shown a peek of the black lycans, and Levi takes Tasha to meet his grandmother and more information on the past comes to light.
The Characters all continue to develop, even the newer members are involved in the storyline.
I really hope that after the trials that Tasha has been through that Levi and her have a happy ever after but I feel that the way this book has progressed they have more to go through.
I am straight onto book 3, Paranormal, Magic, Mystery and Cliffhangers, keep you needing to know what happens next.
The first book in a series that I was excited to read,
We are introduced to a variety of characters Tasha, a vampire who is about to age into the military to join in the war against the Lycans.
The war has been going on for so long that no one remembers why they are battling, but battle they do.
Before her time to sign up she wanders the forest of Guyana where she comes across and survives meeting Levi.
After a few weeks they agree that in 20 years time they will meet in Paris, but fate has something else in store for them.
The Characters are well written and the world building is very picturesque.
They find out who they are truly fighting, and the twisted members of their own species.
A truly all encompassing book. I am lucky enough to be able to go straight into book 2.

An absolutely great continuation from Brutal Days, this smoothly continues from where Days finished on a cliffhanger, I would not say that this would be a good stand alone..
How can Skylar come through being caught in her web of semi deceit, with Damon and her relationship taking centre stage.
The family issues on both sides come to a head when Skyler’s past makes a dramatic return.
Damon continues to rule as king over the school, Gia is on the warpath and Sky is trying her best to stay safe.
The characters continue to evolve, the reasons for both Skylars and Damons family issues come to light.
A great conclusion to this set of books. I will definitely be reading the beginning of the series when I can.
Although book 3 in the Hidden Valley Elite series, I have read this as the first of a duet and It is an amazing read.
The characters are starting their senior year and we follow Skylar who is on a scholarship, her best friend Gia and Gias plan to hit big senior milestones in their last year at school, wanting to reach from an unknown to Prom queen and a few milestones on the way.
Skylar will do anything for her friend, and puts herself in a no win situation, as her friend reaches for the unobtainable Sky is busy in the background.
Damon, wanting to follow his brother and cousin to Thane college after senior year with the elite from the football team, is king of all he surveys except for when it comes to Skylar.
A well written enemies to near lovers and high school romance, add in a dark background for both lead roles and you have a book that you do not want to put down. There are twists and turns that keep you hooked.
I am straight onto reading the next one and looking out for more by this author.

Deja Vu, nightmares and recalled past times all link together.
A complete amalgamation of the supernatural meld into this story to keep you on your toes.
Vampires, Goddesses, Druids, Healers, Watchers, and reincarnation all come together. There is suspense, romance, angst, friendship, memories and magic.
Touching on Italian, Cajun and Creole, Latin and Gaelic the use of words is inspiring.
Definitely a 5* read.
Emotional, hard at times and extremely sad I found I read it in one sitting as I needed to know what happened.

We follow Desert Flower as she is looked after by the tribe after the death of her mother and father, taken back to her Grandfather’s tribe she is renamed Talks like Thunder.

This book has been researched and follows the grueling life that Thunder undertakes as she is again removed from her people this time by the white eye. But she is a warrior and I cannot wait to read the next book to follow her further on her journey.
I found this book enjoyable, and at times hard to read, drawing you into the very emotional and hard hitting story of Benjamin.

I feel the author spoke from the heart and with lots of empathy when telling this story; encompassing mental health, depression and the struggles that many people have when dealing with their sexuality and their family.

Relationships are tricky things at the best of times but when you bring into it some forms of therapy, abuse and suicide then this book covers many things. And some may find it touches on triggers.

Benjamin, his family consisting of a supportive but controlling wife, two children and best friend is a successful business owner, and should have everything to make him happy, but he cannot be himself until he has found himself, this story full of twists and turns hope and denial will keep you hooked and take you along for the ride to a possible happy ending.

I found this book thoroughly encompassing, the characters Angelo and Lucia are lifelong family friends that both hide their true feelings so well they both move on.
Angelo, friend, protector, watches closely over Lucia, then breaks her heart, and his own.
The Character growth is well written as we find them re-acquainted after years. The characters themselves have grown and matured as they pick up a relationship that has grown as well.
They learn to lean on each other and can be with each other again.
This is an emotional book that has many aspects of life that some may find upsetting.
I found this book an easy and enjoyable read. If you are looking for a friends to lovers with a few twists along the way then this is the book for you.
