This is my first book by Jennifer Theriot. This was a story about Noel needing a change in her life. Deciding how and what she needed to do to make better decisions. It was a great Christmas story about finding love and self worth. I’m glad I read it and am intrigued to see what else I can find by this author. The narrator did a good job on this and helped lead the story where the author wanted it to go. Totally recommend this audiobook and this author!

Noel is a feisty character who seems stuck in a dead end marriage. Things begin to shift when she meets someone just her speed on a business trip. This was a fun, creative, high paced experience of a read!

Noel is trying to get over a bad divorce but with a string of hope that keeps dragging her back, can she put the past finally behind her and find love.
Noel is trying to recover from yet another deception that her ex-husband has done across her and is feeling pretty low at the moment, when her friend and customer invites her to come on a business trip to get over the heartache, she was not expecting to find love.
Leon is on a trip to his friends wedding, but when he meets Noel in the bar at the restaurant and they get on so well, will one night be enough. Until he rocks up to the wedding and he see Noel and can’t believe his luck.
This is a lovely story and a true overcome your past book. I love the banter between the two main characters and the story is well written but I want more, I want to see the after in this story. I hated reading the betrayal behind her ex-husband as Noel was such a giving person and although he had cheated on her before you would think he would mend his ways and try and give the relationship another go but no sadly. I feel she had to go through this for the author to give her a happily ever after with Leon.
This was my first taste of this author and would love to read more in the future.

Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot (audiobook narrated by Sara Gordon)
A Christmas romance story that I really enjoyed listening to. I love Noel’s spunkiness and sarcastic humor. Noel has had a tough year after finding out her ex husband has cancer and helps him through his treatments. When she gets a call from one of her favorite clients she’s worked with for years, Noel jumps at the chance and flies out to California for a new project. Noel meets a gorgeous guy in the hotel bar who turns out to be on the project group too. What happens next, you will have to listen/read it!
Sara Gordon did a wonderful job reading the book. I love how well she acts out each of the characters. I know I’ve listened to other books Ms. Gordon has read and I always enjoy them.

This is the first book I’ve heard by the Author. Sara Gordon is a fantastic narrator and she had me laughing.
Noel is a great PR lady and knows what she’s doing. When California calls she heads down thinking she’s helping a friend. When she finds that she is falling in love. The quote I chose for Noel is: “Yes, of course, it’s me, Dave. Who else would’ve fallen on her a** in the driveway? Why aren’t the damn lights working? I thought you said you were getting them fixed.”
Leon is in town from New York to help his friend out. When he meets a female he becomes forward. After finding Noel in the arms of another man he leaves. The quote I chose for Leon: “Ouch. Very nice. Or not so nice, I mean. I actually felt that. So what am I supposed to do now? I gotta make a living you know.”
Highly recommended for romance lovers.

Unwrapping Noel is hands down the best holiday story I read/listened to this year. It made me laugh and cry, which is how I like to judge my books. This one brought awareness to being happy with yourself no matter your size. Noel and Leon are wonderful characters with a real connection. The witty banter was extremely entertaining. If you’re looking for a good holiday romance, I highly recommend this book. This is the first book I listened to narrated by Sara Gordon, but definitely not the last. She brought the characters to life. Her voice was smooth and she really landed those sarcastic quips thrown about.

This audio book had me laughing within the first chapter. Noel is hilarious and real I can feel myself in her. She’s a true inner womens dialogue. A women scron is not one to be messed with. Dave what a dickhead. He is what you call a despicable human been. If your ears are delicate you may need an adjustment. Leon is amazing I love his character. The narrative who does this book both female and male do. It very well. I have throughly enjoy all the voices who have done this audio book. I listen to this book in one sitting it is brilliant and I would highly recommend it to someone who wants a realistic romance story with the real world aspects.
