Blood & Vengeance: A dark, paranormal romance (The Casket Girls #2) by A.D. Brazeau

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Blood and Vengeance is the second book in The Casket Girls Series. This story follows Desiree and finding her mate. You will enjoy this book if you’ve read the first one.

Desiree is one of the girls we met in book one. She got away from the demon that was assigned to her. She travels along with a friend’s mate as they hunt down vampires. Then she meets Jaxon and finds out that maybe all vampires aren’t bad. The quote I chose for Desiree is: “Maybe his aim is solely to survive. Why does it need to be more complicated than that? Not everyone is Rook, and not everyone is Sister Francis.”

Jaxon is a vampire who wants to learn a different way to hunt. He knows Theron knows of one, but he isn’t sure how to approach him. When he sees that Desiree is in danger he protects her and keeps her safe. He then presents his story to Desiree and hopes she can talk to Theron. The quote I chose for Jaxon is: “No, Desiree. There is no one here but me. Like Theron, I too am hunting down the remaining vampires. The one who attacked you, the one Rook assigned to you, he caught wind of you in the cemetery last night. I followed him back to your home, climbed the outside wall, and saved you just as you were about to succumb. I’m fairly sure he meant to knock you out, then take you back to his hidey-hole as a midnight snack.”

Highly recommended for Vampire Romance lovers.

Blood & Ravens: A dark, paranormal romance (The Casket Girls #1) by A.D. Brazeau

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Blood and Ravens will have you hooked from the beginning. It’s also the first book in The Casket Girls Series.

Greer was living the best she could in Paris. That changes when she’s taken off the streets and thrown on a boat. She dreams of this mysterious man and finds that he’s real. The quote I chose for Greer is: “My head feels fine. I’m curious about something. The three of you volunteered for this, as did almost everyone else. Why? Why leave your home to find a husband on the other side of the world? You have no idea what you’ll be getting.”

Theron knows he shouldn’t fall for his prey, but the little rabbit intrigues him. He wants to get back in Hades’ good graces, but that isn’t going to work. Now he’s feeling things he shouldn’t for Greer and that can be dangerous. The quote I chose for Theron is: “Well, you’re right about one thing, your friend is at the end. I told that blasted fool to go easy on her. She’s supposed to last until he can move on to the husband. But you’re wrong if you think you can do anything about it. You, my little rabbit, can’t hurt us. Even if you were at full strength.”

The Hunted (Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla #1) by S.B. Alexander

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. It won’t be my last by her either. The author had me entrapped from the moment I started reading. It’s a hard book to put down. This is the first book in the Vampire Navy SEAL Series.

Sam is a vampire who was turned by his father. He is a Navy SEAL and on the lookout for the bad guys. He must protect the humans, but when the Vampire Hunters come into play things get messy. Layla will be his and doesn’t know it. The quote I chose for Sam is: “You’re mine, Layla. That wasn’t a line to get you into bed.”

Layla has been hunting Vampires for as long as she can remember. Her sisters are working beside her on these hunts. Their father taught them what to do. Now they’ve got problem after problem. One sister is compelled, one sister is being held hostage, and she is stuck wanting to kill Sam or get him into bed. The quote I chose for Layla is: “You know, I just realized something. I’m going to enjoy killing you when you lose that bet you so confidently slapped on the table. I mean, if you keep me chained, I win. Right?”

Master Trentino: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate #3) by Sylvia Black

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. It won’t be my last either. I’ve loved every book in the Masters of the Consulate Series so far. Master Trentino is an amazing book and I certainly hope this series never ends.

Trentino is out to question Lazareth, but doesn’t make it in time. When he meets Angel he tells her that they’d meet again, he didn’t quite know what he was getting himself into. The quote I chose for Trentino is: “Unfortunately, but I’ll be back in a few hours. Can you make dinner arrangements for tomorrow? I’d like a table reserved for three at the Pleasure Palace, around eight p.m. I’m meeting with colleagues, and it can get pretty busy on a Friday night.”

Angel is caught by the mysterious Trentino and for some reason can’t help but fall for him. She is turned by him and really can’t seem to keep herself from him. She goes to her best friend when her store is broken into. The quote I chose for Angel is: “Absolutely not. Best friend or not, don’t make me regret telling you, Kelsey. If Roman finds out, I’m going to know exactly who ratted me out. The three of them are absolutely smothering me right now, and if they get wind of this? No, just no. I’ll get some security measures put in place and that’ll be the end of it. I’m twenty-three years old, I can take care of myself.”

Highly recommended for Vampire Romance lovers.

Romance and Vampires is what this story holds. This is a full length novel which holds so much more.
Rowena is at it again. This time it’s the Crown Prince of Kemit that has taken this story to new grounds. Now with all that is happening Rowena must decide which side she wants to be on. That is all I can say without giving out spoilers. So No Spoilers Here.

Alexander Charalambides has taken Vampires Romance to new heights. The story holds so much more. You can bet that as soon as you open this book you will not be able to put it down. But before you open this one, I encourage you to read Book 1 and Book 2 first. As this one starts up at the end of 2. I love the characters in this story. I also love watching them work through all that they face. Put your feels out there and enjoy this story as much as I have. Well done Alexander Charalambides! Well Done!
