Evil Sushi hooked me. Sashimi was a one click purchase and Wasabi takes it all home. This series is one of the craziest things I’ve read and I love it. I want more! While Wasabi is much shorter than the first two it was still very enjoyable. I read it in one afternoon because I could not stop flipping the pages. I would recommend this entire series to anyone who wants to read something different!

Wow! I have enjoyed the Evil Sushi series and was worried that the third installment would start to lose some of its uniqueness. I am happy to be wrong as this one may be my favorite! I highly recommend reading these books in order to gain the fullest experience. This author is always on my watch list because their writing style is unmatched in this genre! The series has been full of quirkiness, and this one was no exception. The story flows very well, allowing everything to unfold naturally. That being said, I never see what is coming next in this series! I love that I am constantly caught off guard with twists and turns throughout the entire book. I am eagerly awaiting to see what this author has in store for us next!
I had really high hopes for the third book in the Evil Sushi Series, Wasabi. The first two books were so intricately detailed and very well-written, as well as double the length. While Wasabi is just as well-written, I felt like something was missing from the story; where did Wasabi come from? Was is it created or did it evolve from something else? And how does it connect with the other creatures? The same realistic, believable characters return in this installment and are still fighting for their survival while also coming to terms with their own mortality as those around them begin to perish. There is still drama with a lot of different kinds of evil (the mutant kind as well as the completely human kind). Overall, C. A. King still delivers a solid, quick story that draws you in from the very first page.

This is the third in the Evil Sushi series by C. A. King. I did have the pleasure of reading the first two and of course had to pick up the third as well. I’m definitely glad I did. It was a great addition to the series. It was also a quick read. You can easily finish it in one sitting. But do yourself a favor and read them in order. Then see what your favorite characters do this round. Very creative writing! I look forward to more evil foods from this author!
This book was good. It’s the third book of the series. I was a little lost in this one, I need to go back and read the second one. They each follow one after the other. The old General wants everyone to move underground. They now have plants that will kill you and zombie fish. Cannot wait to read the next one.
This is the 3rd book in the Evil Sushi series. These books can be read as standalone however for me personally I would read them in order so you can completely appreciate this story. This is a really thought provoking story about the end of the world and how it could possible look. Aileen and the survivors are still fighting to survive in a world that they no longer understand. With mutants and now killer plants making the world dangerous they also have no food or supplies they need to survive. With the remaining survivors and the governments elite through conspiring against each other no one stands a chance. When Aileen and Rod start to lose friends constantly they have a decision to make. Does the human race stand any chance of survival or should they just cut their loses and leave the world to destroy itself.
This is a thought provoking read and makes you think about what could happen if we continue to treat our world the way we are and disrespecting mother nature. Could we be heading towards another complete reset?
This didn’t end like I thought it was going to lol. If you thought anyone was going to have the satisfaction of revenge. You’d be wrong. On the other hand. It’s a great doomsday story. People v. Nature. What happens when we ignore the warning signs that nature is tired of us taking advantage and treating it poorly? How do we survive when the very thing we depend on to live turns against us? Wasabi definitely gives the reader a lot to think about. Hopefully we won’t make the same mistakes.

Wasabi is book 3 and the last, in C.A. King’s phenomenal Evil Sushi Series. I want to start off by mentioning how much I loved the cover design, the color scheme is perfect, and the overall feel is super ominous which was honestly a great decision considering the contents! I dove right into this after reading Sashimi, and I’m letting you know I wholeheartedly devoured this masterpiece in just one sitting! All three of these books really make you stop and consider what it is we’re really doing to the environment and I really think that’s important. I’m sad it’s the last in the series, however moving forward, I’ll be getting my hands on any C.A. King book I can find! I definitely adored this series, and I recommend reading them all, in order!

When mother nature wants to stick back better be ready for a wild ride. This was a different original series where the human race is destroying the earth but m9ther nature has her own plans up her sleeves. I will say you should be reading this series from the beginning, or you will be lost in this series. This book really made me think the power of what mother nature can do. This book had me reding none stop from the beginning to the end; I highly recommend if you want to change things up because this was for sure an original that I have read and was gripping till the end.

This is the third book of a series and the cover looks so cool and very ominous. It reminds me of a movie poster which is awesome. Like the Sushi theme book names are freaking brilliant lol totally unforgettable. Reading this I was pleased to see this was better than the last one. This was shorter than the first two, about 100 or so pages. So you know you could finish in one sitting, and you will definitely want to. This Dystopia world was filled with mystery, adventure, danger and oh did I mention evil food 😂. I’m telling you now I would never not read a book by this author, C A King’s imagination knows no bounds. I’m looking for to seeing what’s next 🥰
The third and final book in the Evil Sushi series. I must say, I really enjoyed this series. I am so glad I decided to pick them up. I was hesitant at first. They sound insane. Well, they are… But in the best way. These books are quick, entertaining reads. I was kept hungry and ready to consume more and more. The ending to this series satiated that hunger. It finished up brilliantly but unexpectedly. I highly recommend this series! Also, any other book by this author. Her writing style is incredible.

Humanity is gone as we know it. Death and decay is everywhere and no one is safe. The group from the second book “Sashimi” has been separated. Aileen, Rod and Ned were left behind with Paul, Arthur, Karlson and a dog. Sally was taken into an underground military base.
With hordes of fish zombies and killer plants everywhere, the group is not safe. They decide to head to the mountains to get away from the water in hopes of making their chances of survival higher. The question is can they make it. Meanwhile Aileen is still seeking revenge on the enemy Sashimi for killing her brother. If she gets the chance, she will take it.
Things on the base aren’t so good either. The general is old and is making bad decisions for the survival of humanity. Instead of seeking a cure and eliminating the enemy, he instead wants to repopulate underground. His second in command has other plans and will stop at nothing to get the general to step down out of leadership position.
This was an exciting end to a weird but wonderful trilogy. C.A. King is one of my favourite authors. I have not found anything I did not like from this author. I recommend this book and any others written by them!
Wasabi was the last book in the Evil Sushi series. It was a really creative story. I like that it ended up being about Mother Nature getting revenge. The destruction of the Earth in this series is similar to what humans have been doing to our Planet so it brings a portion of real issues into a different story where you think start trying to figure out who the good guys are but you are wrong the entire time.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I knew from book 1 that I needed to follow this series all the way through. I can say that I am not disappointed that I did. It is a quick read but you will find yourself turning pages to see what happens next. The author is able to take a genre and do something that I would have never expected. The author keep this going all the way through the three books. I really felt the story process from book to book. That being said you don’t necessarily have to read them in order. I feel like you would be able to pick up everything from the book and not feels if you’re missing something if you haven’t read the other two. However, once you actually read this book you will want to go and read the others in the series. I am pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book and I felt like the books kept getting better with each one. This book does seem shorter than the others but the content is still there. I didn’t even know what to expect when I chose this book to read. I knew that it would be unique from all the other books I have read. There is a lot of action and mysteriousness of what is going on with the new species taking over the world. I applaud the author with their creativeness and being descriptive enough to let the reader see what is going on according to the characters perspective.
Wasabi is the third book in the Evil Sushi Series by C. A. King. I’m so glad that I stuck with the series until this final book. I definitely enjoyed it a lot more than the first and second books. That said I’d definitely recommend reading them in order. A lot happens in the early books. I enjoyed the unexpected ending to the series – I think Aileen definitely had the right idea!
After how much I enjoyed the first two books in this series, I could not wait to start reading the third. This book is the perfect example of the amazing work I have come to expect from this author. The story is just as unusual and exciting as the others in the series. I was pulled into the story with ease and I could not put this book down. I loved how unique this whole series it. The descriptions really give nothing away about these books and how amazing they are when you get into them. They are the best original surprise you could ask for and I would highly recommend the whole series to anyone.

Wasabi is the highly anticipated third instalment in Evil Sushi series by the very talented C.A King. I loved the first two books, Evil Sushi, and Sashimi so much- as they were such an original and fun read, so I was really excited when this arrived on my Kindle. After loving the first two books as much as I did, I admit that I had really high expectations for this instalment, and I am glad to say that Ms. King didn’t let me down, delivering an engrossing read. I am excited to find that there will be more evil food coming, with ‘Strawberry Fields Dismembered’ coming next. Can’t wait to see what it holds. As with the first two books, this has such an original and clever story, really unlike anything I have read before. It is a mash-up of paranormal, sci-fi, horror, dystopia, action, adventure, thriller, mystery, and suspense. With environmental issues, mutations, agendas, danger, evil food, and all the intrigue and dramatic developments that you need to keep you hooked right till the very end. We started with Evil Sushi, then followed up with Sashimi- and what better to pair with sushi and sashimi than ‘Wasabi’- you’ll see how great it goes with all that evil sea food in Books #1 & 2. So get set for a fun and quirky ride, with a little side order of horror to keep things interesting. You don’t necessarily have to read the first two books in the series to fully appreciate this one, but I recommend that you do so that you have all the intriguing details on board which will enhance your reading experience of this engrossing instalment. (There are interconnected details and elements that span the series- building a ‘bigger picture’) As expected from Ms. King, this was a really imaginative, wonderfully detailed, and well written story that wouldn’t let me put it down until I had devoured every word. I would love to have read an even longer, more in-depth, and expanded version of this book, as this was over way too quickly for my liking (but in a great way, as I was fully immersed in the story). Wasabi is the third book in the Evil Sushi series. You should definitely read this series in order, starting with Evil Sushi and then Sashimi. It’s a nautical and food-themed apocalyptic story that’s original and captivating!
Wasabi is shorter than the other books, and I feel like we could have had more time learning about the monstrous plant and how it connected with the creatures and mutants we’ve encountered in the earlier books. I like how this book feels particularly apocalyptic as the characters try to make it as the last few survivors in a dangerous world.
It was good to see the characters I’ve gotten to know developing further in this book. My favourites Rod and Ned get plenty of chances to shine again in this one!
Wasabi gets four stars from me. I’d recommend the series to readers who enjoy unconventional paranormal stories! When I reviewed the first book I said you’d probably be ok to eat vegetarian sushi while you read it – I take that back! Even plants are dangerous!

And it all started with Evil Sushi followed by Sashimi and now Wasabi. They each follow on from the other, so if you haven’t read the first two books, I highly recommend that you do so before diving into this book because you will be missing a major part of the storyline. C.A. is an author that is full of surprises. I love that she jumps from genre to genre but also depth to depth with every tale she writes. It’s why she is a bestselling author. Wasabi is another unique thriller from the talented C.A. I love the darkness she infuses in her stories. It has a little bit of everything and aspects of mystery, suspense, horror, paranormal/supernatural, sci-fi, dystopian and action. Throw in some creepiness and some chills and you can’t put it down. It is a past paced cleverly woven tale with a well-developed plot that is original, intriguing and flows smooth. With twists and unexpected turns, danger and anger, secrets and lies, a pandemic and mayhem, mutations and so much more. The sea is a dangerous place. Beware what is hidden in its depths and what floats to the surface. Imagine you are now the bottom feeder and the top of IT’s list, and it wants food, and that food is you. What’s left of the world is in an uproar. What would you do to survive? I loved it.
What a way to tie up the evil seafood trilogy. Mother Nature sets the reset. I loved these books. In the beginning, the author gives us a view as how and why she came up with it. I say MORE foodie gone bad stories. I’ve never been so entertained and terrified at the same time. I found the writing deliciously detailed. The characters were uniquely personalized. I did love seeing the karma bus visit some. This author writes and will leave you thinking about things when you’re done. It’s a really good book. You know you want to….click that ‘one-click’ button.
This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed reading. I highly suggest reading the previous two books as well to help your enjoyment of this series and author. I enjoy this author’s writing skills and their attention to details that make her characters come to life. This book is no different. It is a well written story that is engaging and hard to put down. I enjoyed how I was pulled into the character’s world with ease. They had me turning pages fast just to see what would happen next. You have not seen anything as hot as this wasabi plant. The roller coaster ride it takes your body on is something you don’t want to forget. There is great growth throughout the story which makes it easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.
