Golden Poppy (Wildflowers Book 5) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Jenni Bishop

Golden Poppy (Wildflowers Book 5)Golden Poppy by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Golden Poppy is the fifth and last book in the Wildflowers series by Vivian Winslow. This book is the one to peel back all the layers and tells the story of what made Poppy, well Poppy. Where as Wild Poppy was taking us back to her younger days this one gives us a look at her later years and her looking back at and realising that acceptance plays a huge part. But can she repair her relationship with and make amends with her daughters before time runs out? As usual Vivian has written her characters beautifully. They are whole, relatable and complex. This would have to be my favourite in the series and it is so full of emotions and is heartbreaking.

The series ended on a sad note but it is a fantastic story.

Uncovering Camila (Wildflowers, #3) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Jenni Bishop

Uncovering Camila (Wildflowers, #3)Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Uncovering Camila is book three in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow is a story that is a New Adult romance that is about one strong, driven and determined woman, Camila. She knows what she wants and nothing will stop her making it happen. As always Vivian’s descriptions are rich and bold and the story is well written. I must admit that I was not sure about the Camila/Marshall relationship and the to and froing frustrated me. I wanted to shake them and tell them to smarten up but the chemistry and the sex was hot, hot, hot.

Wild Poppy (Wildflowers, #4) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Jenni Bishop

Wild Poppy (Wildflowers, #4)Wild Poppy by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wild Poppy is book four in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow and is a story not to be missed. This is one story that the whole series practically started with. In earlier books she is the matriarch of her world but in this story we follow her and the sad life she started with. Poppy is alone and heartbroken and left with no choice other than one and it is that one she will regret her whole life. Vivian has done a wonderful job on Poppy’s story and it is very moving. It was empowering to see her come from someone so broken to coming alive once again.

As with the other books in the series Vivian has done a great job and Wild Poppy should not be missed.

Forbidden Rose (Wildflowers, #2) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Jenni Bishop

Forbidden Rose (Wildflowers, #2)Forbidden Rose by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forbidden Rose by Vivian Winslow is the second book in the Wildflower series and is well written and the storyline is one you readily immerse yourself in. It is a romance story where there is passion abound and of the charts chemistry between characters. I enjoy a story where there is drama and angst on the road to romance it spices things up. Vivian takes on a journey where there are secrets and love, beauty and sweet sweet raunchiness that will leave you breathless.

Vivian has written story that will have you begging for more. I am off to start the next in the series.

Blossoming Flower (Wildflowers, #1) by Vivian Winslow – Review by Jenni Bishop

Blossoming Flower (Wildflowers, #1)Blossoming Flower by Vivian Winslow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Blossoming Flower is the first book in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow and an enjoyable romance story and a good start to the series. But nothing is ever easy in the path to romance and the burning desire and wanting between our characters was a slow slow burn. The sexual tension is almost palpable but they both had things in their paths that they needed to face and deal with before coming together. The story is well written and Vivian sets the scene with her rich and vivid attention to detail and there were times I wanted to smack some sense into some of the characters.

I am off to read the next in the series and hope it is just as good as the first.
