Let me just say, I went into this book, already deciding I probably wasn’t going to enjoy it. BOY!! Was I WRONG!! This book was so well written. The story was so well thought out and presented, I played it out like little episodes in my head, each reading session. I was fighting with myself, all through this book. I wanted to read more, know more, but at the same time, I didn’t want it to end. It was TOO good. I hope you give Yeti a chance and read his story. It’s so good!!!

This one was a ton of fun! I have never read this author and I’m so pleased to have been introduced to them! Everything about this story was my kind of thing- i love the supernatural, murders, and adorable protagonists. I think this was just so quirky and wonderful and as soon as I started- I just couldn’t stop! I know the murders are a major part of the story (i mean that’s how Wiley moves to the big supernatural city!) but this story was just so fun and interesting to read. I hope we can get more for other characters. (:

Yeti Left Home by Aaron Rosenberg follows Wylie Kang, peaceful, hermit of a yeti. Living in a cabin on the outskirts of a small town, Wylie makes a living fishing, swimming, and watching TV – until the nightmares start. A supernatural hunter arrives soon after Wylie learns of a terrible set of murders close to town. Forced to flee, Wylie goes where no Yeti has gone before.
Finding himself in the big city is the last place he ever thought he’d be and finding other supernatural creatures is a suprise. With new friends, new experiences, and new murders this move proves to be full of surprises. I loved this book and the truly colorful characters within. Though the story was wrapped up well, I truly hope there’s a continuation coming our way.

What a quick and fun story! This was just the kind of book I needed in my life but didn’t know it. Aaron Rosenberg hooked me from the first chapter and I was fully invested in Wylie, our friendly Yeti, throughout the entire book. Wylie just wants to live a quiet, modest life in Minnesota, but something odd is going on. He starts having terrifying dreams at the same time that murders begin haunting his town. Being a Yeti, he also draws the attention of a certain Hunter. Wylie has a plan to blend into a large city and along the way finds a community of all supernatural beings. His heart is happy and content, but it seems the Hunter is closing in on him. Will Wylie leave his newly found home to keep everyone safe, or will he create a plan to take the killer down? I really loved this book and will be looking out for more by this author!

This book is a fun fantasy story. It is a pretty quick and easy read but was enjoyable to read. It was great to see the character development throughout the book and for me is what this book is all about. I connected with Wylie from the start and enjoyed his journey. This is a new author to me and I think this was a great introduction. I enjoyed the steady pace of the book and the characters to match. This is a thoroughly enjoyable story.

Yeti Leaves Home may be written with supernatural characters, but it is a well written, classic, trying to fit into society book that leaves you wanting more. Wonderfully written, superb dialogue between the cast of characters, and a very realistic and believable story line despite the main characters consisting of a yeti, a banshee, and other not of this world characters.
Wylie’s transformation from a loner to friendship blossoms as the novel unfolds is stellar, and in my opinion, the best part of the book. As a side note, the food they consume in the book makes you salivate for good grub. I am definitely going to check out more books from this author!

I really enjoyed this unique story. The author does a really good job of making the story engaging and some parts really had me laughing. At times I felt sorry for Wylie. All he wants he a quiet peaceful life and to settle in but this wasn’t to be.
Wylie is a paranormal being to be exact he is a yeti. All his life he has tried to fit I’m with the humans and live a peaceful life. However all that changes when murders start happening in the little town he calls home. The strange circumstances lead the hunters back on his trail and Wylie becoming the number 1 suspect. Everything in Wylie is telling him to run but the Hunter won’t give up trying to find him Wylie realises the only way to free himself is to find the person committing the murders and clear his name. This is a story about finding your place in the world, finding friendships and learning how special they are and fighting for something you don’t want to lose. This is a really enjoyable story and i look forward to reading more from this author.

Fun, engaging read. This urban fantasy was a blast to read. Wyllie, a yeti from Embarrass Minnesota, finds himself having to leave the creature comforts of home to escape a Hunter. He finds himself in the Twin Cities, and a new adventure unfolds. Unfortunately, trouble has a way of following him. This is a well written and thoroughly engaging read. Recommend.

Yeti Left Home by Aaron Rosenberg. This is such a original story about a Yeti aka Wylie that lives in the woods and minds his own business. He has friends and a home but he soon has to leave because there has been a murder and people are starting to snoop around trying to find the killer. Moving to a new town and starting over is hard for anyone but for a Wylie trying to fit in is really hard. Where he has moved to is the city and he’s not used to that as well as all the people. While there he finds lots of other supernatural characters and friends. The problem is Wylie thinks the murderer has followed him because murders are starting to happen in his new town. Can Wylie find him before any more people die or worse before he finds Wylie Fun and lighthearted this book is a joy to read. Something different and new.

Yeti Left Home was a very entertaining read. This fast-paced book had me hooked from the beginning to the end. I loved the originality of this story. Wylie, a small-town Yeti, who wishes to live his life quietly, learns that a hunter is looking for him. What does Wylie do? – he goes to a big city to blend in, where his adventure really begins. If you’re looking for an adventure, look no further than Yeti Left Home!

Yeti Left Home by Aaron Rosenberg is a wonderfully written Fantasy/Supernatural that I truly enjoyed reading. This is my first book by this author and definitely not my last. Going in I wasn’t real sure what to expect but I was intrigued by the cover and the fact that I was super curious about this Yeti. Boy was I wrong but im happy I took the chance on this book. I can totally relate to Wiley and the feeling like you don’t quite fit in or belong but you push through and keep on keeping on. Wiley is content and happy just hanging out at his little cabin in the woods. But soon his world will take a turn when murders start happening and hunter shows up in his woods . Wiley leaves his home and heads to the Big City where he discovers a whole different kind of world and people. What will happen when Wiley sees the Hunter in the big city? This may not have been was I was expecting but it was what I needed to read. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

The author has an original take on the myth of Bigfoot. A creature feared and hunted has been framed for dastardly slayings. The characters come to life through clever illustrations. Readers will be glad they picked this one- the ultimate in escapism. The theme of small-town life versus big-city life is explored, through the lens of the author’s protagonist.

Yeti Left Home is not what I expected at all. The author does an amazing job with the development of the characters especially Wylie Kang, the Yeti. The other characters complement each other very well. The plot of the story easily flows from the beginning to the end. The book is very well written and very relatable to everyday life.
I give this Author 5 stars because this book has taught me that life can be scary and not all the time are peaceful. What Wylie was dreaming was a moment in life when he had to make a difference before life catches up to him. Not my type of book but it is a way of learning that you have to chance after dreams because sometimes life is too short. For Wylie, the hunter was life too short but his dreams can be the cause of this life-changing and a moment that he has to be out of his comfort zone.

Yeti definitely finds a home after leaving what he thought was a good life. One of solitude and confinement in the mountains. Barely Interacting with the townsfolk he discovers he’s flushed out by a hunter. Running to a new city he finds he’s truly not alone. While there isn’t another yeti around he makes friends, solidifies a pack, and begins a new adventure a life full of joy happiness and friendship. Integrating into a new lifestyle in the city the hunter finds him again. This time he doesn’t run but fights to keep his place and prove his innocence.
This is one of the most joyful, interesting, and fun reads ! I mean who doesn’t love a good story about Cryptids.
I hope there will be a part two or maybe even a sequel to the lives of one of yeti’s friends.

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did. It was a lot of fun to read. Paranormal aspects, drama, mystery, humor, life lessons, new friendships and the difficulty of trying to fit in. The story was a great read. Once I started it, I did not want to end. Wiley is a yeti, and he just wants to live his life. Already out of the norm he seeks to exist and blend in. As mysterious murders start taking place He ends up back on the hunters radar. He immediately flees town supernatural town that could actually be his forever home. However, things start closing in when the Hunter appears in his new town, leaving Wylie with little options other than to solve crimes himself to clear his name. As the excitement begins, we begin the adventure with the Yeti and his new friends in this feel good mystery.

This is an enjoyable and entertaining story, with an original storyline and supernatural characters, which kept me intrigued throughout. Wylie Kang-a Yeti is a peaceful and unassuming character, who lives a quiet life on the outskirts of Embarrass, Minnesota in his self built sanctuary. He also has an appreciation for the more human creature comforts, like toilet roll! When a series of strange murders take place in the area a Hunter arrives in town, and is soon on Wylie’s trail. With the Hunter in pursuit Wylie leaves town and heads for the Twin Cities, with everything he owns in his truck. He plans on loosing himself in the urban jungle, but struggles to fit in and blend in. However, when he finds a thriving supernatural community, he starts to settle in and make friends. He soon discovers that the bloodshed and the Hunter have followed him to the city. Wylie decides he must catch the killer before the Hunter catches up with him. This is lighthearted story, full of wit and humour, however the underlying issues such as Wylie not fitting in, are dealt with sensitively. I loved the characters, especially Wylie who I really felt for and I was immersed in his story, hoping he would have a HEA.

This is an amazing story about someone who doesn’t quite fit in anywhere. I feel like Wylie Kang sometimes. It’s really amazing how Aaron takes a character like Wylie and makes others realize that there is more that goes on around you that you aren’t really seeing. I can totally relate to Wylie when it comes to not knowing about other supernaturals and how they can only be seen by other supernaturals. I feel like I can only see certain things and no one else can. I am sure that if you read this book, you too will feel a connection to at least one of the characters. Wylie the Yeti and a few of his supernatural friends have me all up in my feelings.

Yeti Left Home was slow to start for me. I wasn’t quite sure what the story was going to be about. But once you get far enough in, you understand and keep reading. Wylie just wants to be left alone. He is a yeti but no one really knows. Why is this woman looking for him? Is she a hunter? I enjoyed the book as I got further into it.

Yeti Left Home by Aaron Rosenberg is a fun Urban fantasy that had me intrigued right from the beginning. This is a well-woven paranormal mystery story with wonderfully quirky characters, the supernatural, danger, drama, intrigue, tension, folklore/legends, murder, crime, investigation, humour, friendship, discovery, fitting in, finding where you belong, and more. Wylie loves to live a quiet, comfortable, peaceful life. He’s shy and gentle- a nice guy- well, Yeti- to be exact. But his idyllic lifestyle is about to get a disturbing shake-up when some strange murders occur in the area that attract the attention of a Hunter, who then starts sniffing in his direction. Wylie ends up on the run and soon finds himself in the big smoke- where he can hopefully blend in and escape notice. But this new beginning brings surprising discoveries, as well as new mysterious murders, and the Hunter back on the trail. Now Wylie will need to unmask the killer before it’s too late. What ensues makes for a fun read. Looking forward to exploring more of Mr. Rosenberg’s work. Happy Reading…

Wylie Kang is a Yeti who spends his days trying to blend in with the townsfolk of Embarrass. He lives a quiet life in the outskirts of town in a small cabin. Home is where he enjoys the simple pleasures like a comfortable recliner, a television, and most importantly soft toilet paper. Wylie has vowed that he will never go back to using leaves again since discovering toilet paper. These creature comforts have changed his life and he finds joy in his secluded, peaceful sanctuary.
When Wylie starts having violent dreams that coincide with a series of strange murders his entire world changes. A Hunter of the supernatural comes to town looking for Wylie and he has no choice but to flee. Armed with his recliner, tv, a bag of food, and some personal items Wylie jumps into his trusty green truck and heads out of town.
Wylie heads to the Twin Cities where he figures that he will blend in except he finds himself in a city teaming with supernatural activity. Not only is the Hunter hot on his trail but there have been a series of strange murders here as well. Wylie is faced with the choice of fleeing his new home and leaving his new friends behind or finding the killer.
This was a great story about the struggle to fit in and feel a sense of belonging. Wylie was a great character who loved to live a peaceful life and cause no harm to anyone. He rolled with the changes and managed to keep a smile on his face no matter what came at him. Wylie enjoyed his secluded life back home in Embarrass but in the Twin Cities he made friends, formed bonds, and truly felt like he belonged. There was a sense of suspense, danger, and mystery as Wylie and his friends raced to catch a killer and save Wylie from the Hunter. The witty humor and banter left me chuckling to myself on numerous occasions.

4.5 stars In this urban fantasy Yeti Left Home Aaron has given the reader a paranormal thriller that is original and humorous. This light-hearted quirky tale will have you laughing at times. Aaron is a new author to me so obviously this is the first of his work I have read. How have I not come across him before? I really enjoyed it. It’s my kind of oddity, quirky and all that. Yes, the Yeti Left Home is right up my alley. Aaron is a man after my own heart. It reminds me of lots of my favourite supernatural goodness TV series all rolled into one. There are too many to name them all but Sanctuary, Grimm, Haven, Warehouse 13 and I’ll even throw in Eureka to name a few with their oddness, strangeness and let’s not forget the quirkiness and bizarreness. Wylie Kang isn’t your typical mystical beast. This Yeti loves nothing more than to chill at his cabin by a lake. When a hunter shows up in his neck of the woods Wylie runs and discovers a whole new world for himself and friendships. When Wylie comes across the hunter again in the Big City what will he do? I hope to see more from Aaron. I will go check out other stories by him.

Peaceful, unassuming Wylie Kang—a Yeti with an appreciation for more human creature comforts—lives a quiet life in his self-built sanctuary on the outskirts of Embarrass, Minnesota. But when violent dreams disturb his peace, and a series of strange murders plague the area, a Hunter comes to town, nosing after Wylie’s trail.
Fleeing pursuit, Wylie packs up his truck and heads for the Twin Cities, hoping to lose himself in the urban jungle, only to find a thriving supernatural community.
Just as he begins to settle in—with the help of some new-found friends—he discovers the bloodshed has followed… as has the Hunter.
Can Wylie catch the killer, before the Hunter catches him?
