I loved reading the book Winter’s Wolf (The Cursed Series Book 1) by Lou Grimes. It is a story that pulled me in, and I found myself not wanting to put it down until the final page. It is a YA/shifter story that includes mystery, danger, and discovery. I love the character of Louvette Blackwood She is a young girl who finds out her grandfather was murdered while searching for her father. She also finds that she has the chance at a fresh start in Montana thanks to her grandfather’s will. What does the future hold for Louvette? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about what happened to Louvette with each chapter that I read. I wanted her to find her place in the world. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Louvette. Many of them are helpful and friendly to her. Then some have their own selfish agenda. This is a story that will hook you in from the very beginning. The book had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I highly recommend reading it.

I’m a Texas born author who is currently working on the second book in The Cursed series. I enjoy anything that involves creating something like art, writing, and pyrography. I worked on the first book for 3 years which is why it is set in the Young Adult genre, plus I can’t seem to grow up.
