A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee – Review by Angelina Frazzini

A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee is such a cute small town read. I really enjoyed this book.

Daisy never expected, or even wanted to be the “sweet girl” her entire life. She can’t stand that the whole town thinks she can’t do anything wrong. As she’s leaving a wedding reception, she runs into Dunk McCoy. Dunk is always the fun, happy go lucky guy. Always up for a good time. Not many people see passed that it seems. Once he realizes that it’s Daisy he’s looking for, he realizes she sees him for more than just the happy guy. They seem to fit perfectly. Nothing is ever that easy and while things seem to be going smooth, there’s just something Dunk can’t get past. Will these two realize how perfectly they fit or will they need help?

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are so relatable it was easy to see where they stood and why they felt the way they did. Dunk is such a sweetheart! I definitely recommend this book!

This is a first time author for me. This seems to be the third in the series. I haven’t read the other and I had no problem following along with this one. The story was good and at first we seem to zing right along. I loved the whole looking for Cinderella part. Then something happened. I’m not sure if it was all the puns but the tone of the story seemed to change. It was all fun while he was looking for Cinderella but once he found her and they went out. It was too much. Who wants to hear about other women when you are with a guy? And what he has done with them? No thank you. After that hiccup it seems to straighten back out and take on a romantic tone.

The writing seemed fairly smooth. A few times I needed to go back and reread trying to figure out what the author meant. I did love the bro time that Dunk had with Aden. That was nice and bro talks are always enlightening. The characters had some fun and had depth to them. Overall this is a nice read.

A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee was the perfect mix of sweet and sexy small-town romance that I like to read. This new to me author had me loving this one-night stand wedding hookup from the first chapter.

Daisy and Dunk (love this nickname) are the type of couple you never knew would be perfect for each other. Their bantering had me laughing and has a hint of sexiness to it sometimes.

I can’t wait to see if there will be more books about the other characters in this small town. I will have to check out any other books written by this author.

Oh sweet mylanta, this was such a fun and a perfect introduction to the writing of Zoe Lee. As a new author to me I solely went into this book based on the fun and sweet cover. I tend to be kind of an easy sell on small town romances and the fact that it had a catchy twist of the play on Cinderella just added to the allure for me. I was not one bit disappointed and in fact found the book to be even more of deep romance novel than I had anticipated. Don’t get me wrong, this book was the perfect light and airy read that kept be entertained on an otherwise drab day, but it was steamy to boot. I thought the humor drew in the sex appeal and then the couple seemed to top it off with a steamy bedroom chemistry as well. All a delightful bonus.

Daisy and Dunk are both fun and quirky in their own ways, yet that is what compliments them as a couple as well. I loved the push-pull and that it wasn’t done in a cheesy way. I got the undertone of the Cinderella story but it was done well and not over the top. Overall, these two are quickly easy to fall in love with and will be a sure favorite couple of the year for me. I look forward to seeing what I have missed from Zoe Lee and to whatever may come in the near future!

A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee is an absolutely wonderfully sweet story and a pleasure to read. This is my first book by Zoe Lee and I was pleasantly surprised as I like going into stories blind as I like to get a feel for the story as I read it and not go into it with preconceived ideas. I fell in love with and absolutely adored the main characters of Dunk and Daisy. The chemistry between the two was enjoyable to watch as they fell in love, the passion just oozing off the pages. This small town romance is fun and sweet, sexy and feel good and the banter between the two and their friends is full of humour and puns, is flighty and flirty.

Daisy wants to change her image, as the small town won’t let the past go. She is sweet and smart, sexy and sassy, loyal and witty and down to earth but something is missing.

Dunk is sexy and kind, charismatic and sweet and oh so laid back and most of all he is so so funny. He awakes to the memory of the best dream of his life but was it just a dream?

The humor that had me laughing out loud but my heart did break there for a moment as well. I enjoyed this story so much that I have to go back and read the others and I look forward to reading more of Zoe’s work.

A PERFECT FIT is the first book I’ve read by Zoe Lee and I really enjoyed it. It seems as if some of the secondary characters may have been introduced in a previous book as they were all fully developed.

This is a quick and easy read that flows well from beginning to end. The humor and ease between the two protagonists was a refreshing change.

This book was the perfect fit for a nice evening read. While it was a little longer than I have been reading lately, it held my attention from beginning to end with only a minimum of skimming.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is a well developed romance. The characters bring the story to life and made me feel part of their world. Daisy couldn’t wait to get away from the wedding she was attending. What she didn’t expect during her escape is to run into Dunk. As things progress, life throws a curve into it. Will their relationship be done before it starts? Their story is fun, sweet and sassy. I highly recommend this book.

The story A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee is a book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Daisy Rhys and Dunk McCoy. Daisy is sweet, intelligent, independent, and a good artist. Her interaction with Dunk comes at a wedding reception. Dunk is handsome and charming. He believes in no strings attached when it comes to women. That is until Daisy. The attraction between Dunk and Daisy is intense. There is chemistry and a connection between them. Is one night all that they will experience with each other? Dunk believes that she is perfect for him. Can he get her to understand the feelings that he has for her? What does the future hold for Dunk and Daisy? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the whole time that I was reading it. It has moments that are sad, moments that will make you smile and laugh, and romance that is steamy and will make the temperature in the room rise. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters introduced and interact with Dunk and Daisy. Dunk and Daisy are characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I found myself wanting them to find happiness. Don’t miss out on a story that will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end. I highly recommend reading this book.

Two big hearts, one big messy ride.

Daisy Rhys is trying to sneak away from a wedding reception, when Dunk McCoy–the sexy high school football coach and guy known for a good time–comes to her rescue. He’s sweet, nice and keeps putting his foot in his mouth. Daisy is totally delighted. A quick rescue turns into a full on press of a different kind. Their chemistry is something different than Daisy has ever experienced but it looks like one-night was all that was meant to be.

The next morning, Dunk McCoy wakes up after the best sex dream of his life. But when his friends point out that he’s sporting a hickey, he’s adamant that his Cinderella could be perfect for him. He’s determined to find her, and his laughing, disbelieving friends are only too happy to send him on her trail.

Can he convince her that he wasn’t just trying to score? Or will Dunk’s attempt at true love be benched for good?

Zoe has been writing since she was a little girl, growing up north of Chicago. Since then, she’s lived in Ohio and San Francisco, and now lives near Boulder. She has a job that she loves, but it doesn’t sound exciting to anyone else. She does yoga and takes dance classes when she can. She has a husband, who reads her romances, and an amazing little girl, who is way too young to read what Zoe writes (yet). She’s inspired by her family and friends, books and art, and all of the places she’s traveled.
