Silk Road: Code Raven 6 by Lynda Filler – Review by Maura Harper

SILK ROAD (Code Raven, #6)SILK ROAD by Lynda Filler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read in this series and while it is the sixth book, I was able to easily distinguish who is who based on the guide on page one and the detail given with each character’s introduction. I never had that “lost feeling” while reading SILK ROAD.

Even though this is fiction, it makes me sad that all of the elements of the story are, in fact, true and “we” have just turned a blind eye to it because “it’s not my family”.

The story held my attention from the very first word to the very last. It has intrique and suspense. It’s well written and flows quickly from beginning to end .

At times, this story reads like a travel journal taking us to beautiful and dangerous countries. There are so many locations this book takes place and the author does an amazing job introducing each locale.

I recommend this book and will be checking out the others in the series.
