A great read about trust. Havana has the worst day at the strip club she works at when a man falls sick with the new virus and the apocalypse begins in front of her. Rescuing her from it all are three handsome and mysterious men who are just as deadly. Can she trust them to lead her to safety?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Havana standing up for herself but caring underneath or Liam as a gentle giant.
I loved the use of the senses throughout the novel like the smell of the corpses/zombies, blood and fire or the sounds of bones crunching and popping as if you were actually there. I also loved the visual detail of the grandeur of the vacation house later on with the statues and strange furniture that seemed Gothic style from a horror story.
The shift in perspectives for chapters worked well to display all sides to the story and was easy to follow. I loved how the story started straight into the action to grab the reader from the start. Fast paced action and high stakes in a sci-fi fantasy world made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.
