Awakening of a Soul Keeper by Brienne Dubh is a Prequel in the Soul Keeper series. This book is a brilliant introduction to what I feel will be an amazing series.
The whole story I found to be unique. Although it contained elements of fantasy that is, on its own, quite common, the way the author combined these elements brings to life a uniquely interesting story. There were times I really felt sorry for Theodora. Not only was she thrust into this entirely unfamiliar world but her familiar, safe world was being compromised because of it. And yet how she dealt with everything bring thrown at her was great to read about.
I really felt like we were taken along on a journey through this book and it has left me excited to see what might be next for this series.
