Super adorable! Susannah Nix is an author who continues to impress me with her well developed plots, beautiful characters and complex storylines. This book starts off quick and I love that about books. I am not really into the slow burn kind of book. I like when an author gets into the meat and potatoes of what the book is supposed to be about, and this author does that.
Griffin and Alice are two very loveable characters. Alice has found herself in the situation where she is losing her job and her home, and Griffin, super duper i-am-moving-from-a-soap-drama-to-be-a-movie-star Griffin, is needing someone to dog sit his pooch. Griffin offers her the job and she accepts. Fast forward to her moving in and the sexual tension between the two rise. I won’t spoil it for you but when the tension finally spills over, it comes boiling out.
NOTE: Ms Nix offers a word of caution in the preface as there is some subject matter in the form of sexual harassment that is addressed in this story. If this subject makes you uncomfortable in anyway, please consider this before reading, otherwise, this book is highly recommended.
