My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can’t even begin to properly explain how excited I was to find out that there woul be more of Vee from The Woman America Loves a Latte from Holly Tierney-Bedord. Being that that was my favorite of hers to date, I about squealed when I discovered that this would be a prequel. I will say however that in The Woman America Loves a Latte the bar was set exceptionally high by TIerney-Bedord and so I entered just a tad skeptical that I could possible love this one just as much. Now, just as I enjoyed the first I enjoyed this one. Maybe not to the extent, the first holds a special place in my reader heart, but it actually reached all of my hopes for this being the great novel that I had so hoped that it would be! This novel gives us a more in depth view into what made Vee who she is in The Woman America Loves a Latte. It was sweet and endearing, and covered an array of emotions that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I absolutely can’t wait to see what we will find next from the mind and pen of Holly Tierney-Bedord!
