*This review may contain spoiler from previous books in the series,*

Dane and Shana are back and the excitement starts with a bang, literally. When their beach shack explodes, Dane knows it’s personal. It was an expert job and the perpetrator wanted them dead. But they refuse to run, they will get to the bottom of it. But when it looks like Shana is in danger, Dane swears to protect her and not let her get in the middle of it — the exact opposite of heat Shana wants to do. Can they catch who is doing this before there are fatalities? What will the consequences be for Dane and Shana’s relationship?

This book fits right in with the rest of the series. It is not a very long book, but there is much going on. There is a struggle both with stopping the bad guy and between two people who love each other. Not to mention some of the characters you have grown to love are back to. I could not guess where the book was going next, and I love that about a book.

If you like your suspense with a bit of romance thrown in, this book is for you.
