The story The Immigrant: An Italian in America (The Italian Saga Book 7) by Gaia B. Amman is a wonderful book to read. It pulled me in right from the beginning and didn’t let me go until I had read the final page. It is the next story following the character of Leda Balni. Leda has taken a job in the US. She is leaving everything behind for a year. Leda is a character that I have grown to care about with each book in the series that I have read and I want her to find happiness in her life. I can empathize with her when she first arrives in the US as everything is new to her and she has to adapt to her surroundings. There are characters that are familiar as they have been brought forward from previous stories in the series and then there are new ones that Leda meets. I honestly don’t know how I would cope with living in another country so I admire Leda’s determination. I also love that Leda is so into music and that it is a constant part of her life. What does the future hold for Leda? Will her relationship with her soulmate survive? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. There are times in Leda’s life and situations that she faces that I really felt for her. Don’t miss out on this book. Highly recommended reading.
