The Immigrant: An Italian in America (The Italian Saga Book 7) by Gaia B Amman – Review by Jenni Bishop
The Immigrant. An Italian in America by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Immigrant: An italian in America (Woman Scientist novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman. The story follows on with Leda going to America to follow her studies for a year. Away from home she misses her boyfriend, but when he comes to stay she sees him in a different light and reevaluates their relationship and what she needs in life. Not only does she need to deal with him but she has to deal with the pressures of her work and colleagues and those who are her they her friends. The story is simply written and shows the struggles of young people and relationships. At first it was a little slow and I didn’t think I could stick it out but it picked up and I continued on and enjoyed it even though I am frustrated with Leda’s relationships.
