Beneath the Fallen City (The Omni Towers Series Book 1) by Jamie Waters. This is an awesome Sci Fi novel. Its the story of Kayla, a scavenger that searches thru ruins of abandoned cities looking for artifacts in exchange for life saving supplies. The problem with this is the people that control those sites is OmniLab and they are not your friend. Kayla is pretty capable but when she invades Carl’s district he’s determined to stop her and the best way for him to do that is recruit her. Once they begin fighting the OmniLab together things really heat up. She only accepted Carl’s offer because a very powerful man is hunting her and she feels as if Carl is her only chance.
