I love these authors separately. Together they are fantastic! Don’t we all dream of the one that got away? The one we gave our heart to and they still hold it even though it’s been years? Wonder what would happen if you saw them again? This is the story of Artemis and Penelope. Once young lovers who walked away from each other years ago. Now, stranded in a random airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve, their paths cross once again. Only this time, there is so much more at stake!
This story brings out all the feels! It’s so easy to imagine myself in Penelope’s place. As I read, I could feel both of their emotions as if they were my own. This is such a well written second chance romance! Holiday Terminal is a must read this Holiday season or anytime you’re looking for a great, emotional, quick read! Five stars for Gwyn and Christy!

Brick and Favor’s continued story. Please take the time to read Joe Football first. While I did not, I know desire to go back to the first book. Anyhoo these college students are taking a break and traveling to New York. To support Egon. Let’s not forget the other friends who will take this journey. Everyone in one vehicle, many temperaments. Many secrets and so much more.
Autumn Sand has done a great job with this fast paced novella. Her characters are amazing. Brick and Favor’s backgrounds will surprise you as they did me. There is nothing better than reading a romance from the pure side. I will be going back to Joe Football and then wait for the next in this series. Job well done Autumn Sand!

Knight Watch is the first book in the An Alliance Agency series by Maddie Wade and India Kells. I love both of these authors separately and now they teamed up to write this novel. Wade and Kells have the story filled with mystery and romance at the same time. There was a content warning which I placed first in this review. I have to say that I am very sensitive to this subject matter but the way Wade and Kells told the story was tasteful and respectful. This story is about Kinsley Knight is in America and is put in charge of his first case. Sydney Rutherford had been assaulted in her past and her past is coming back to haunt her more now than ever. Knight and Rutherford are at odds until Rutherford realizes she is in good hands with Knight. Will Knight be able to keep Rutherford safe? With Rutherford be able to trust Knight to safe her future? I cannot wait to see what Wade and Kells has in store for us next.

What a great holiday read this was. This book, while quick, packs quite the emotional punch i expect from Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is new to me but now on my to read list. A teenage miscommunication comes to a head over Christmas 6 years later between Penelope and Artie. These two, ugh I wanted to just shake them sometimes but we got there in the end. I can’t give away circumstances as it’ll ruin this read for anyone else as even though we know what is kind of expected, the work up to it all is so worth reading on your own.
Irresistible at Christmas (Irresistible Romance Book 2) By: Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Alyssa Bailey, Stephanie Queen, Patrice Wilton. This anthology was the perfect Christmas read!!! The best part about this entire anthology and all anthologies, is that you get to read authors that you normally wouldn’t read. There was plenty of love and emotions to tug at your heart strings. Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts’ Christmas Gift, was one of my absolute favorites. I love her way of writing and her storylines. This is definitely a must read!!!!
Found In The Lost: The Loenidas Corporation book 1 by Tarina Deaton is a 4 star read. Kinley Dunn is a crypto Archaeologist and is heading to a dig with her mentor after she translated an ancient Mayan text, while stranded at the airport she meets Shane who offers her a ride. Shane Ivers is an ex-Navy Seal he now works in private security, he is going on a relaxing break with some old team mates, when he meets Kinley and feels an instant connection to her, he’s hoping that by offering her a ride with them he can get to know her better. An attempted car jacking stirs the protective instincts of Shane when he realises that Kinley may be the target, he wonders if he will he be able to keep her safe while encouraging a relationship between them? This book is part of The Special Forces Operation Alpha in the Susan Stoker world and I would recommend this book.

Holiday Terminal: A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance is a fantastic second chance romance by Christy Anderson and Gywn McNamee. I have read, and loved, many books by Gwyn McNamee but this was the first time that I had read any of Christy Anderson’s writing. After reading this book, I’m sure I will read more in the future as I really, really enjoyed this book. Holiday Terminal was very different to any other book I have read, for several reasons. Firstly, there are very few characters in the book. Secondly, it takes place over a very short space of time and thirdly, almost the whole story takes place in just 1 location. Although there were very few characters, those that were in the book were very well written and all have valuable parts to play in the storyline. As always (for me) when there is a young child in a book, they totally steal the scene for me and Max in this book was no different. He was totally adorable. I loved the interactions between the 2 main characters Penelope and Artemis. Both have never got over the other and still have very deep feelings for each other but are both angry with each other which lead to some very heated arguments. One of my favourite parts of this book is the bond that grows very quickly between Artemis and Max. It’s adorable to read their interactions. Although different, I really loved this book and would definitely recommend it to others.

It is a story that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It takes you on a journey that is mysterious and at times I had to tell myself to breathe. I loved reading about Cleo Darwin and Mason Bentley. Cleo is the office manager at the Alliance Agency. She is good at what she does and is depended upon by those who work there. She is intelligent, strong, and independent. She also has an attraction to Mason. Mason is a former secret service agent that now works for Alliance Agency. Since the first day that he sees her, he feels an attraction to Cleo. When he looks at her, he sees a future for them. When a stalker sets their sites on Cleo, Mason will do everything in his power to protect her. Will he find out who is stalking Cleo, and will they be caught? What does the future hold for Cleo and Mason? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic scenes that will heat up the room. I grew to care about Cleo and Mason with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. There are other characters that have been brought forward from the prequel and book 1 in this series and I loved reading about them again. The Alliance Agency’s employees are more like family than just coworkers. They care about each other. Don’t miss out on an amazing book that you will not want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Testament of Feats: Book of Judgement by K.H Jones is a wonderfully woven epic fantasy which held my attention right from the very first page. This is my first read from Mr. Jones, and it appears that this book may be the authors debut novel. I have enjoyed it greatly, and would definitely like to read more of his books in the future. I have to say that the world building in this story is brilliant. From the detailed maps at the beginning of the story, to the cultural elements, animals, scenery, and lifestyles of the people- everything was intricately detailed, vividly described, and cleverly constructed- giving everything a realism and believability which brought the whole story to life. I thought the character creation and development was really well done. These characters were all quite unique- and I thought their names were really creative and individual to them and the author. I also liked that there was so much more to the story to discover, than it first appeared. The story is full of all the action, adventure , fantasy, and danger you would expect to find in an epic fantasy- but there is more to the story too, making it a bit of a surprising read (in a good way). So, if you love high fantasy, with a great plot, intriguing characters, plenty of adventure, and originality- then this is definitely the book for you!

This is the first book that I have read from this author. His view of vampires is different and I found the story to be original. A war is going on and the vampires, now called Pales, have taken over. Rowena and her parents are brought to Sanguinia and sponsored by a family of elite vampires. They can have everything they ever wanted; power, money and fame. All they need to do is die and become a vampire. Rowena has choices to make. She’s torn between her parents, torn between two guys. She wants to make a difference, have her life mean something. Danger lurks around every corner and most of the time, Rowena has no idea what’s going on.
I found the book interesting but a little too political for my tastes. Most of the time it was dealing with senators and laws so it dragged a bit for me. I believed in what Rowena was trying to accomplish and was cheering for her until the end.

Vampire State by Alexander Charalambides was a refreshing take on paranormal romance. I would give this book a four out of five stars. Rowena was an interesting character to meet, I really enjoyed reading from her perspective. The story is multilayered and when you think you have it figured out something changes. I loved the authors take on vampires and his unique twist.

I enjoyed this book. It is a historical romance story that is engaging and kept me turning pages. The characters made the story feel realistic as well as being connectable. Hannah’s response to her hurt pride after losing her crush to another is to throw herself into her first season. Nicholas has a reputation and also a past. What will fate have in store for them? They are great characters, I highly recommend their story.

The Big Easy – check. Mystery – check. Romance – check. A heart stopping, must read adventure – check! This book kept me glued to my chair and engrossed in its pages from beginning to end. Pulkinen does a fantastic job weaving this tale with just the right amount of fantasy, mystery, suspense, and romance. I was immediately fascinated and drawn to the main characters and found myself deeply invested as to how the story would ultimately unfold. Absolutely recommended! So good!
5 Star Pigs by Daniel James is a thrilling read that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the end. This is my first read by this Author and definitely won’t be my last. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. The characters are very well developed and the storyline was easy to follow. Find out what happens when a night at thè_ reunion turns out to be a night of revenge. Does he get his revenge? I highly recommend reading this PAGE Turner, you won’t be disappointed.

Pigs was a good four star read. I was pulled right into this thrilling read.
Isaac is released from prison and is looking forward to rebuilding his relationship with his family. When things take a scary twist Isaac and his family are attacked, his wife and son are murdered.
Isaac is determined to get revenge and sets out to find the murderer. He entails the help of some people from his past. Isaac also finds himself being hunted by a very twisted and sick man.
There is so much more to this great read I don’t want to give anything else away. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. We get murder, violence, revenge, danger and so much more. There were some things that were hard for me to read regarding some of the violence. I was pulled right in by Daniels writing, all of the characters were great. This is my first read from Daniel and I look forward to reading more.

The description of Pigs, by Daniel James instantly drew me in and I knew it was a must read. I was not disappointed! The prologue was frightening and I feared the book would be too much. It is super disturbing, but the story had me hooked. It is a chilling story of revenge. The characters are very complex and we can see their emotions through their actions. It is a fine line between being good or evil, and its not always clear where the line is drawn. There is suspense and mystery throughout this crime thriller, and I loved it. Isaac Reid has just been released from prison, where he has been for 10 years. He worries about acclimating to life in the real world with his wife and son, who only has seen him through a plexiglass window. However his focus shifts, when his family is murdered within hours of his release. He is now torn between keeping his promise to stay on the straight an narrow, and his urge for revenge. Despite trying to put his past behind him, he is thrown right back in. All the key players in the job that went bad, are soon back together and not to reminiscence.

LOVING JAKE is a book in the “Almost Perfect” series and for me it was more than almost perfect.
This book is totally in my wheelhouse. It is a lighter romance and while there is angst, it is done in such a way that I was cheering both the H/h on. There is humor and family and a few open door sex scenes. There is also an amazing dog named Daisy (because “calling a St Bernard Lily would be silly”).
The story was detailed and easy to follow. There was a very strong beginning, middle, and end.
There are a few characters (Carly and Damien) who have a very involved backstory and I wonder if their book has already been written. As this is the first book I’ve read by this author, I will be checking out her other books.

Vampire State by Alexander Charalambides intrigued me from just seeing the cover. I really enjoy stories that are vampire-related and couldn’t wait to dig into this one. This is a thrilling ride to go on. Rowena has a choice she has to make concerning accepting the Gift and becoming a Pale. Will she take the jump or not? This is interesting because it is set a bit differently amongst a political thriller with some romance. I was not disappointed in this read and it was worth digging into this book. The characters are well written and the plot is pretty good. I look forward to seeing what Alexander Charalambides writes next.

When I first considered giving this book a read, I thought, this sounds a little gory and violent. So, I drug my feet. But I can truthfully say, I am so glad I gave this story a read. Pigs by Daniel James is a fast-paced little novel about regret and vengeance. The stages that Isaac goes through from the time he is released from prison until the end of his nightmare brings both deep sadness and hopeful joy. Just when you think you have it all figured out it takes a sharp turn that’s both surprising but understandable. There is violence but its not graphic, and it sets the stage for all that comes after. This is just a good little novel and I think you will really like it. I know I did.

Loving Jake is the first book in the Almost Perfect series by Lisa Lanay. Lanay is a new author to me and I started to read the story with my eyes wide open. This story has comedy, romance, misunderstandings, and situations that will make you laugh.Lanay has a great plot line and engaging characters. They are complex complicated characters whose life is about to turn about. Kim lives with Jake and they did not know that one of their friends, Jack was going to be bunking with them for a little bit. There were moments of great anticipation thinking that Lanay was going to go right and instead goes to the opposite way. This book has a lot of emotions that takes you on a roller coaster ride. Will Kim and Jake get along with their new bunkmate Jack or will there be a break up?

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1) by India Kells and Maddie Wade was the perfect way to start this crossover series.
Kingsley sounds like my dream man, tall, dark, handsome, bearded and British. How could you not fall in love with those traits, then add in the alpha male, hero and there is all sorts of swooning.
Sydney has experienced more loss and tragedy than one person as young as she is has. She still has residual effects from the events of her past but I don’t think she allowed them to define her which makes her a hero in her own right.
I’m looking forward to keeping up with everyone at Alliance and follow along on their adventures and jobs.

This book tops my crime novels! We dive into a crime novel where we have a man who will dive in head first to avenge the deaths of those he loved. We see Issac struggle with his past and present. He gets tested at every twist and turn thats sent his way. This is the most epic cat and mouse chase I have read yet!
This book hooked me and I mean HOOKED ME! I couldn’t get enough and words completely fail me on its epicness of this book! All I have to say is I NEED MORE!

The story Not a Good Death (Agents of Dart Series Book 2) by Naomi Bellina is a romantic suspense book. The story will pull you in and I found myself not able to put it down until the final page. I was hooked on both the storyline and the characters. I loved reading about Lily Blume and Dillon Hurst. They both work for DART. A group that works for the government. They are told they are on a retrieval assignment. It turns into the search for a killer. Will Lily and Dillon find the one that started killing with a teen girl and then strikes again? There is a personal relationship between Lily and Dillon. They care for each other. Dillon is protective of Lily. Lily worries about Dillon not being a good fit to work for DART. What does the future hold for Lily and Dillon? Will they learn to have faith in each other? Read this book to find out. There are times when the suspense in this story had me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. There are also romantic moments as well. I also enjoyed reading about many of the other characters in this story and their interactions with Lily and Dillon. I love mystery/thrillers and this book is a good example of the kind of book that will keep you guessing. I highly recommend reading it.

Forbidden Love; Written by Lisa Jones Gentry, As Told by Joe Steele 5 out of 5 stars
The story Forbidden Love; Written by Lisa Jones Gentry, As Told by Joe Steele is a book that had me hooked from the very beginning. It tells the story of Father William Grau and Sister Sophie Legocki. They had an attraction to each other and fell in love in a time that a relationship between a black man and a white woman was not accepted. Not only that a relationship between a priest and a nun was not approved of. William and Sophie’s story is one that while they knew the consequences if they were caught, continued their relationship and kept it secret. They even had a child, a son named Joe. The story is an emotional journey and mine went up and down the entire time I was reading the book. I grew to care about William and Sophie with each chapter that I read. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments in this story. Joe is also a character that I enjoyed getting to know. I also enjoyed the talks with his birth mother and the memories of growing up in Cincinnati that he shared with her. This story made me think about the time that William and Sophie lived in and if I could be as courageous as they were. Don’t miss out on a story that will warm your heart. I highly recommend reading it. This is a book that is hard to forget, and I found myself thinking about it even after I had finished.
