When it comes to the Testament of Feats Book of Sorrows (Book 2), I was completely blown away, more so than I was with the first one. K.H. Jones not only took an original idea and made it into something, but in turn owned it. I was amazed with the first book, but this one took the cake. Following Scream on his quest to find the missing Ranger, as we know in the world of fantasy, a quest never turns out as easy as it seems. Such as the saying goes “Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.” This was no exception. The level of emotions I felt while reading and following along were off the charts, often times a book can say “Sorrow” but will ultimately fall flat, this ‘Book of Sorrows’ did not fall short and there was sorrow, as well as adventure, suspense, romance, and, my personal favorite, twists and turns. I recommend this series, and especially this book to anyone who loves Fantasy, especially Dark Fantasy, and brilliant Original Ideas.
